Guest Reviews
- Christine (3/5): Avoid, unless you like dirty sheets - The bed was comfortable but the matress topper didn't fit. The bed sheets hadn't been changed since the last guests and had hair and bodily fluids. I always check and it was a good job I did. There wascsomeone elses nderwear left in the bedroom drawer. There was no wifi for 24hrs although this was resolved. The water in the showers was barely warm.
- Oliver (8/5): -
- Al (9/5): - Great cabin with everything we needed for our stay and well situated for visiting family
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (9/5): Superb - Good size well equipped No working lights in en-suite . Flexing base on front veranda.
- Vickie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natasha (10/5): Fantastic facilities for a short break , thanks - Everything!
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Flint (10/5): Very pleasant stay - The accommodation was amazing, very comfortable and a good size.
Good value for money and the hosts/owners were very helpful with some queries There was nothing we didn't like
Only thing I would suggest is a indoor mat at the door and a toaster
- Rachel (8/5): Nice little stay but few niggles - Fab location
Super easy check in
Lots of space & storage
Easy to use appliances
Tv in main room had all the apps/channels you could want Little things but
The TV in the bedroom was broken, reported this but didn't hear back
We couldn't get hot water for bath
The place was not the cleanest, there was mouldy bread in the cupboard which smelled and food remnants in the sink, but appreciate we booked the day before we arrived so imagined there wasn't a lot of time
Some milk/cooking oil/washing tablets would have been handy.
Bed sheets were bobbly.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kamil (10/5): Me and my family have a great time at The Westwood - We have stayed in there for a weekend. It’s good quality caravan, clean and warm. Kids loved access to wifi and tv. Great location, peaceful and quiet, 10min drive to Alnwick.
Hopefully we would we would be able to get back in spring time.
- Amanda (9/5): Lovely property in a beautiful setting, would book again! - The property is lovely, in a great park, with good amenities and decent stock in the van and lots of space (especially for two people and a dog). 10 minutes drive from Alnwick at most. And the property owners are super responsive and thoughtful! We will definitely look to be back again. The only thing we noticed was some quite dusty areas behind the tv in the main bedroom and some old container of food in the fridge and bits in the freezer. Nothing at all to put us off booking again though.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- O'connor (9/5): Superb -
- Forster (9/5): Superb - Really comfortable and really appreciated the bottle of prosecco and the goodies after a really long journey. Had everything we needed.
- Hasani (7/5): Mostly Great - Amenities, whole entire place, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms with 3 beds between them, kitchen, outside amenities which I did not use, two TV's in living room and master suite. Excellent plumbing and powerful water pressure. Also hand soap was really nice and kitchen stocked with all necessities. The locks on front door and patio door, what ever happen to putting a key in and turning it to lock and unlock? Was so unnecessarily complicated locking system. Heating system was also challenging.
- Alex (9/5): Well equipped holiday home in a brilliant location. - Really well equipped holiday home on a quiet site with good views from its decking terrace.
The host was on hand via text messaging in the event of any problems, which there were not.
Will certainly be returning in the future. Nothing for concern or complaint.
- Vicky (9/5): Superb - Lovely property, situated centrally in Northumberland so easy to explore. No BBQ as stated so we just cooked the food we had taken in the oven.
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely to find treats waiting for us. But also so so easy to find and let ourselves in and make ourselves at home
- Honest (7/5): Good -
- Helen (8/5): Natalie was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay - Excellent location. Good size caravan, very spacious and modern .Lovely setting with good view. Left flowers , wine and milk which was a nice touch. Natalie was quick to get back to us with any queries
- Louise (10/5): Had a lovely stay. It’s so spacious and homely. Feels like a lodge rather than a caravan. Lots of homely touches. Huge T - Homely, spacious, modern, comfortable
