• Elaine (7/5): Cosy, comfortable, convenient. - The property was warm and cosy. There was plenty of hot water when needed. Parking was convenient and at the property. It was easy to locate and close to a canal walk (5 minutes away), Aldi (10 minutes walk) and the town centre (15 minute walk). There is a local shop 1 minute's walk away. We had one key and we were not always out together so we had to keep remembering to put it in the lock box!
• Charlotte (7/5): Good value for money - Accommodation was clean and tidy!good value for money! Could’ve done with some more toilet roll. Some hand towels and wifi that didn’t glitch every 5 mins!
• michele (10/5): Much better than staying in a hotel. Betther value for money. More room and privacy. - Location was 5 minutes away from where I was going. Neat to lots of take aways very clean modern house Parking available. Shower Gel there. Ketchup there. TV and internet.

• Tracy (8/5): Lovely property - Lovely modern lounge area and comfortable sofa. Beds very comfortable. Perfect for what we needed for a few nights visiting nearby family. None of these would stop us returning so only intended as constructive comments as we liked the property overall. Kitchen could be better if it was updated but ok. Bathroom sink taps need fitting properly as they move when used and felt like they might break. Bathroom rather draughty as the window unit has a gap when closed (though at least bathroom shouldn't go mouldy!). Parking up/getting back out could be an issue as others partially park over and tight up to the allocated space.

• Renee (7/5): - It would’ve been nice to have a table to be able to sit down and eat. It was a lot smaller than it appeared in the pictures. all in all, it was a nice place, but it could use a little TLC.

• Yvo (2/5): Zeer teleurstellend. - Tussen Liverpool en Manchester gelegen. Er is een wasmachine. Hygiëne was verschrikkelijk: vetresten in de keuken (gasfornuis), oven geblakerd en oud (dus vies), koelkast met etensresten en aangebroken verpakkingen van de vorige gasten (?), badkamers oud en vies (kalkresten, schimmel), tapijt vol vlekken. De ensuite badkamer was niet alleen vies en oud, op dag 3 kwam er een rioollucht uit. We hebben toen zelf de afvoeren afgedekt, zodat de stank niet in de aangrenzende slaapkamer zou trekken. Alle muren zijn gebutst en bezaaid met vlekken. Achtertuin is bezaaid met onkruid. Er lag een zak afval. Hier zou je je pas gewassen kleding moeten drogen, dat hebben we natuurlijk niet gedaan. Alle bedden zijn smal (1.40 m breed), dus met 6 personen hier slapen is erg krap. De buurt is onverzorgd, veel afval op straat. Dat is ook aan de voorkant te zien: veel onkruid, een grote brandplek op de drempel, afbladderende verf. Verhuurder liet na klachten de schoonmaker komen. Dit lost natuurlijk niet het probleem van al het achterstallig onderhoud op. De kinderen vonden het al spannend om hun tanden te poetsen, laat staan om hier te douchen. We zijn een dag eerder vertrokken, want we konden gelukkig elders een extra nacht boeken. Daar hebben we het vuil van ons af kunnen wassen. Dit huis is zeker weten geen 10 waard!!!! Ik weet niet waar die reviews vandaan komen, maar ze lijken niet erg realistisch. (Edit: ik weet bijna zeker dat de meeste niet echt zijn, dat kan niet anders.) Hier komen we niet meer terug, ik zou het niemand aanraden. Edit: de verhuurder meent dat na de schoonmaakbeurt alles in orde was. Dat was het natuurlijk niet. Het ging hier om het weghalen van de vele spinnenwebben, stof, vet en zeepresten van het sanitair. Maar onderhoud plegen gaat niet als wij erin zitten. Er is oppervlakkig schoongemaakt, maar de wastafel bleef gebarsten, aangekoekt vuil in de oven zat er nog, de douche nog onder de kalkaanslag en schimmel en de tapijten bleven vies. Dit lijkt me niet meer dan logisch.
