- Barry (9/5): Superior option for family needing a city stay. - a very practical, minalamist compact 2bed Apt. Close to all parts of the community, by foot, taxi, or car that can be kept in secure parking onsite. Pleasant, helpful owner's family on the ground floor. Some sugar, coffee, tea, oil, stocked. Lots of closet and storage space. An especially good value city stay for Costa Rica. if long stay, cooking surface is single hotplate burner and microwave. Beds are std dbl. A Queen in the larger bedroom would be a great addition. The "sofa" is only a low fold-down kid sized bed. Note access is by stairs from the garage and has a low beam àt one point...tall persons take note. Some items missing from having four full place settings.
- Bonnie (9/5): Nice apartment in San Ramon - Hot shower! Best we've had in a number of nights. Thick, soft towels. Close to university. A great cafe across the street. Birds sing in the morning in back of the apartment. Cross ventilation cools the apartment before bedtime. Comfortable bed, excellent linens. Walkable neighborhood, good sidewalks. San Ramon is nicer than the other C.R. cities we've stayed in. Kitchen: nice selection of dinnerware. Pillows were overstuffed, hard to sleep on. Noisy street out front. All the city streets are noisy and stinky with motorcycles and delivery trucks. Kitchen: hot plate is difficult to operate, and very hot. Toasting slices of bread burned edges before toasting. The only skillet is small with blistered teflon finish. And there is only a small metal spatula. I didn't trust these to cook eggs without bits of flaking teflon. Look at the equipment available before shopping to be sure you can cook the food you buy.

- Susan (9/5): Superb - In a convenient neighborhood in central San Ramon. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Able to park car inside gate. Apartment has 2 bedrooms and adequate bath wirh shower. Owner lives downstairs and was available to let us in and get us oriented. She had good recommendations for dinner nearby. All was good. Good value. Just note only Spanish spoken if you are a non speaker.
