Guest Reviews
- Mailvaganam (8/5): - Location near beach shops Everything ok… but if you go by car very hard to find out parking 🙄
- Anne (10/5): - We was very happy at the place was very clean and tidy. We liked everything. And we was very happy.
- Hannah (9/5): Happy - Beds were extremely comfortable, very central, bus stop outside, clean. The living room was a bit draughty
- GIGI (4/5): - Spacious We can’t sleep all the nights… tooo sounds from outside (fighting)… infront casino… and windows making too sound … very horrible night..
- Damian (10/5): - We like the location near the beach and the comfortable beds. We don't like the sofa in the living room, which was supposed to be a fold-out sofa, but it wasn't. The shower in one of the bathrooms had a clogged drain, which caused water to accumulate in the shower tray, and the house smelled of damp.
- Ugwuanyi (10/5): - I love everything about this house, infact it is luxury indeed.it is an amazing house and we enjoyed our stay.
Everything was readily available.
Kudos to the host............... Nothing at all
- Gilen (5/5): After all not bad. - The location is perfect. There is cleaning problem : at the back of the bed a lot of dirt, it smiles so bad and when we take the shower the water comes until the door. The bed sheets are not clean. The door code doesn’t work we waited almost 40min until we get the key. And also it will be good to put the name of the gust house that you put the website somewhere on the house so that customer can identify the place easily it thanks so long for us to know which one is while we were in front of it .and also the blinders are working.
- Stephen (9/5): - Spacious and comfortable- perfect for travelling with children!
Very close to the beach and city centre It could be noisy outside overnight
- Maite (7/5): Good -
- Mariana (10/5): Very nice, we comeback - Nice, good location
- Amber (1/5): Bad - The only thing we liked about the property is that it was close to the seafront. Absolutely near enough everything was falling apart, the blindes were broken, the coffee table was broken and dangerous, the chairs and table in the window was broken, the bin in the bathroom was broken, there was dirt in the shower where it hadn’t been cleaned, there was chewing gum stuck to one of the windows, dirty sticky marks on the carpets in the hallway, there was cigarette butts and joints on the roof/balcony area, would not stay again, did not feel clean what so ever, we didn’t use the kitchen and it was filthy, the cupboard doors were sticky, the sink sponge was brown, there was leftover food and beers in the cupboards and some kind of latex gloves that looked like a used condom in the cupboard. We paid just over £900 to stay here and it definitely wasn’t worth that much!! We’ve really lost out on money.
- Mark (8/5): Excellent base for our few days in brighton - Very central location which was excellent - close to shops and two supermarkets, cafes, bars, short walk to the lanes and pier, bus stop right outside. The area was a little noisy, which didn't bother us, but could be a problem for small children. Rooms were spacious. We didn't use the washer, dryer or dishwasher, but handy if we would have needed them. Showers were good! Compared to other properties in the area, this was good value for money. Not a huge problem for our group, but there were a lot of stairs, living room and kitchen on first floor, one bedroom on second floor and two on third floor. Carpet near kitchen could do with a clean.
We booked for 10 people and only got 1 key, which was a bit of logistical problem when we didn't go out together, and didn't really trust the key-safe.
Disappointed to find no wine glasses, and only two useable coffee cups, especially after another guest has commented on this, and we hoped they have been replaced. We didn't cook, so not sure about other facilities.
Of course this is Brighton town centre, so expect difficulty parking - even for unloading luggage. We parked out of town, and got a lift in.
- Mostaeenah (8/5): Very good -
- James (6/5): Genuine Reviews - Very spacious and convenient location for town and pier. Clean and tidy The property was clean but dated and not luxury as described..The location was convenient but definitely not safe for a family with kids due to the amount of drug users on the street outside. It was so noisy on the street til around 3am each night with drunks and druggies arguing, swearing and fighting. Everything could be heard as a clear as anything in the apartment due to the poorly fitting single glazed windows. The bar opposite was banging out music until midnight too on a Sunday.
- Shaindel (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing and comfy.. we loved it! We will be back!
- Campbell (9/5): Superb -
- Arshad (6/5): Excellent location, worth for money, well maintained - Property is located 2 minutes walk from Brighton pier. Next to supermarkets and food options.
However, bit noisy due to location.
But very convenient. Nice and clean
Kitchen is well equipped.
Some beds need replacing.
Overall a good, spacious apartment.
- Iveson (10/5): Exceptional - The area. It was so central and within spitting distance everything you could possibly need. And the house is hugemongus!!!!!! Expect fights over who is sleeping where!!!!! The seagulls are so loud and do not like u sleeping past seven in the morning!!!!!!
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prakhyat (8/5): Very good - The host!
He's a star.
Not only helped us with a good house but also some insights as to where all we can go in Brighton. Any issues were solved immediately. Always approachable and ready to help.
The location.
It was right at the pier. Amazing location, made it accessible from everywhere. Some things were not cleaned well, for example the bedsheets, but they were replaced on complaint.
The bathrooms had issues.
One had a sink issue, the other had problems with regards to the temperature of the water.
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable - The location for this stay was amazing ! Super close to the beach and only a short walk to the town and lanes. Owners were also very quick at replying The accommodation was super dirty and made us feel uncomfortable ! Hairs everywhere, dirty tissue left on the windowsill, very dirty cutlery, plates and glass all of which was found after the cleaners had supposedly come ? In spite of quick replies, when complaining about the dirtiness the owners didn’t reply after saying they would send cleaners to fix our problems
- Roberta (7/5): Good -
- Lal (6/5): Pleasant - apartment is very spacious and well located if you like the beach. The fridge freezer was not clean inside out,,
and microwave was so dirty that u can’t use it hob needs a deep clean as well,,:( entrance should b cleaned,, If you want some one to feel welcomed and come again?
- Lauren (9/5): Superb -
- Ria (8/5): Very good -
- Aryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Haiyen (6/5): Pleasant enough stay but would probably be more suitable for groups of friends having late nights - Location was brilliant, was very close to the beach/pier and lots of food places around. There's even a morrisons and sainsburys local next door. The place was very spacious and is like in the pictures. Lots of bathrooms so we wasn't fighting to use the loos. They had netflix so we were able to chill in the evenings. You could tell the building is quite old as the floors are uneven. There is a huge amount of noise coming from everywhere when trying to sleep. Because you're above the fish & chip shop you have the noise of the extractor fan in the back bedroom. The two front bedrooms are not double glazed so you hear all the people that roam around the streets at night. Once it is quieter, you hear a lot of creaking from the pipes, wind ratting the windows. You can also see a lot of wear and tear to the furniture and cracks along the walls.
- Sagar (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location for a group outing! Clean and very spacious property with everything you may need for a comfortable stay!
- Lisa (5/5): Was OK for a 1 night stay but wouldn't book again - Location was very central to everything. The cleaners did a good job of cleaning what you could see and the beds were clean and comfortable. The location was extremely noisy, none of us got any sleep. Particularly as there were two individuals who decided to shout all night. The windows are single glazed. The cleaners did a good job of cleaning what you could see, but when we moved the sofa out, so we could get some heat from the radiator, the carpet behind it was terrible. The property looked nothing like the photos, the furniture was very worn and tired looking. There were hardly any glasses, we managed to scrape together 5 odd glasses just so we could have water. Only 1 wine glass, no tea towel or cloths for wiping round, in fact cupboards were pretty bare, considering the property can sleep 10 people. Dirty plates in the cupboards, glad we were eating and drinking out.
- Fiona (5/5): reasonable would not return - the flat was in a good location and relatively clean. Good amount of towels provided and beds comfortable. It was incredibly noisy and we could not sleep. The windows are single sash windows. There was only one wine glass, no tea towel and you could only run one shower at once due to poor water pressure. The owner said there was parking nearby but we could never find a space where suggested and when we asked them about it they never responded.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - great location, very spacious , clean and well equipped
