Guest Reviews
- Jeremy (10/5): A great place to rest and relax. - Such a beautiful place!!! Nothing at all. It was perfect!!!
- russell (10/5): Summerlands Superb - The perfect place to be based for relaxing, riding and wines.
The rooms are fabulous and the beds incredibly comfortable.
- Tony (9/5): - We have stayed before and this has become our preferred accommodation in the area. The location and quality of the rooms is top knotch. The first time we stayed it was possible to have breakfast on site and that was delightful. It is no longer provided, although alternatives nearby are more than satisfactory.
- Garry (10/5): Overall a very good stay, quite, clean and very comfortable. Easy to find and close to town. - THE LOCATION OF THE ROOM WAS GREAT CLOSE TO TOWN AND WHERE OUR FRIENDS WERE STAYING WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN IF IN THE AREA THE ROOM EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS AND THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD SUGGEST OT IMPROVE IT MAYBE INCLUDE SOME SOFT DRINKS IN THE WELL PRICED MINI BAR

- Caroline (9/5): - What a gorgeous place and room; quite unexpected when we were looking for shelter from the rain instead of camping. Loved the massive bed, chandelier, private patio and Dindi hard soap and cream. Jacqui was happy for us to park our camper trailer at the back and let us check in early. Alexandra is so charming with great dining options, op shops and chose to other local sights. Will definitely consider a return visit.

- JILL (4/5): Disappointed exterior door difficult to unlock and lock. Bathroom door didn't close no privacy - The info before stay was great.
Disappointing as far as dog friendly with a flimsy wire barrier As we had our dog she stressed at every sound when people where coming or going. Not that they did anything wrong
- Shaun (10/5): -

- Trudi (10/5): Luxurious and above amazing! - Extra touches that made it luxurious.

- Jonathan (9/5): A Comfortable & Beautiful Country Retreat - We loved everything about the property! The historical yet comfortable building and the collection of artwork and objects on display in our room and in common areas made for a great setting. Everything was thoughtfully done. Our room was extremely comfortable, especially the King bed. We loved the in-room claw-foot bathtub, which was a complete surprise! The outdoor seating area and private back-porch entrance was wonderful. It was within easy walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants which was lovely. It's nothing to do with the owner or the property, but unfortunately we did have two evenings with power outages, one of which was quite extended, out of our three night stay which was less than ideal. It was during the Summer, but absent any storms or bushfires; it's poor service from the local power distributor it seems.

- Brenden (10/5): Spent a girls weekend at summerlands. So many beautiful, thoughtful and curated touches throughout the house. We adored - The aesthetic was on point. A great place to rest and recharge. Very thoughtful additions throughout the house from pod coffee machine in the kitchenette to makeup wipes in the bathroom. Nothing. It was fantastic.

Well looked after by the owners. Check-in instructions detailed and very clear. Large and comfortable bed with very supportive pillows. Electric Blankets. Netflix! Could not find anything negative.

- Marjorie (7/5): Lovely place and atmosphere. - Location good for what we needed Little night light not working in the bathroom. With the fan/light on in the middle of night to use bathroom a couple of times, it was very noisy and disturbing for us. Apart from that minor problem which can be fixed quite easily, it’s a nice place to stay.
- Kathy (10/5): Luxury 5 star stay for a reasonable price - Fantastic location close to town in a gorgeous property with lots of charm.
Beautifully presented room, very comfortable bed, loved the claw foot bath in the room and a well stocked fridge with lots of goodies to purchase - well thought out accommodation Nothing to complain about from our perspective

- Katherine (10/5): Beautiful room, would stay there again in a heartbeat. - Gorgeous room, well thought out, personal touch to everything.
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and the bed is super comfortable. So nice having a little mini bar and snack bar as well. We didn’t realise they also clean the rooms daily so that was a nice surprise. We tried to stay another night but it was all booked out so we definitely didn’t want to leave. N/A
- Natalie (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Very adorable room and building. Great quiet location in Alexandra, but walkable to town.
- Talyshia (10/5): Quiet, Comfy Perfection - Quiet, close to shops and the comfiest beds
They even gave us Valentine’s Day gifts - so cute!
- Christine (8/5): Comfortable, great location, quiet and good value - Location
Quiet
Comfortable First impressions was that the garden needed a bit of maintenance - the house was gorgeous and cute but the garden doesn’t look that appealing
No hairdryer
Not a game changer but given there is a kitchen, maybe some complimentary cereals for those that want a light breakfast
Milk sachet must have been off as my coffee curdled
Bathroom door didn’t stay shut and glass windows was annoying when the light was on
- Karyn (10/5): Wonderful large room with lots of extras in a quiet street. - Summerlands is a beautiful property with an onsite car park, gorgeous room, lots of attention to detail in decoration and thoughtful items of comfort. Nothing. It was perfect.
- Jody (9/5): Superb -
- Mildenhall (9/5): Superb - So comfortable and the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate after camping over new years. Close to town, coffee and yummy restaurants, a great stay all round
- Ken (9/5): Cosy comfortable room with good air conditioning for an enjoyable stay would highly recommend - The location was handy for an easy walk to the Main Street Nothing
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ting (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful accommodation, could not fault it. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. - The accommodation was beautiful with everything you could possibly need. Super comfy bed and the best sheets I have ever slept on. Walking distance to town. Everything was perfect.
- Sally (9/5): Superb - A very lovely restored property. Noisy bar fridge.
- Melissa (10/5): Relaxing. - Everything was amazing, quiet and also felt quite private. Nothing 😃
- Sandra (10/5): An absolutely lovely experience - The property is beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. The bed was the most luxurious that I have slept in for a very long time. Nothing! One very minor suggestion- a better light for applying one’s makeup.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Kathy (10/5): The most visually beautiful well appointed room we’ve stayed at just a short stroll to the main part of town. It will de - This property honestly went well above and beyond all our expectations.
Our room and the entire homestead was stunning!
The owners have clearly put a lot of love and thought into every aspect of making this getaway a special and unique experience.
We loved all the attention to detail and fridge full of former delights to indulge in if we choose.
And OMG what a comfortable bed!
Def a property to return to again and again Cannot think of anything even remotely minor
- Glenn (10/5): Just perfect, in every way. We will return! - The rooms are perfectly orchestrated in decor, with every little detail, for a memorable stay thought through. We enjoyed the central dining area with our friends, for a late dinner. The beds and bedding were a treat.
- Kathie (10/5): A real gem - Great location, good walk right from the door along the stream, easy walk to town and restaurants. Very clean, spacious and comfortable room. Loved the chairs on the balcony. Would definitely recommend Nothing
- Chris (8/5): Relaxing - Garden outlook No breakfast
- Jackrl25 (9/5): Great Country Accomodation - Good communications prior to arrival. Easy self check-in. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location just out of Alexandra downtown area so nice and quiet. Given the quality if the actual accommodation it was a little disappointing to see the garden poorly maintained. It creates a poor first impression of the property. It has the potential to be a beautiful country cottage garden but was a little overgrown with weeds and leaves.
- Sujata (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (10/5): Expectations were blown out of the water. Thank you 🙏 - Absolutely amazing accommodation!
Bed was extremely comfy and the towels fluffy? Even the puppy was pampered! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Nothing to not like…
- Emma (10/5): Beautiful place to stay for a relaxing and cute weekend away! -
- Jennifer (10/5): Lovely, will happily visit again - It had everything you would hope for, and the little extras were better than I have seen anywhere. Nothing
- Ron (10/5): Interesting, luxurious and tasteful accommodation in the heart of Alexandra. - A lovely, very well appointed country house beautifully divided into a series of private Hotel rooms with a common hallway and lounge with set open fire, comfortable lounge, table and variety of books, games etc. Some interesting and tasteful artwork and decoration in room. Comfortable lounge chair and bed. Good bathroom. Pleasant garden setting. Lack of bench space, table to eat and prepare snacks and breakfast. Limited crockery & cutlery. Parking not easy to access as large tree in centre of it, not all one level and inadequately lit and signed contributing to panel damage as I reversed out.
- Boris (10/5): Exceptional - Very special place , it is built with love ❤️
- Gordana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (8/5): Nie place to look at and stay - Felt like home, traveling so much I had a great sleep
