Kept awake by roof banging during wind. Rubbish lying around at the back. Oven not working. Security light hanging on a thread. Small things, but made a difference

- Déborah (6/5): Great house, no service - Very nice view, decent property. There was no electricity on the whole island. Of course, they cannot do anything about it, but the least we expected them to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. Personally, I would bring my guests some candles and wood for the inconvenience. In the end, we paid full price, for no electricity and hot water for the most part of our stay.

Kids too scared to stay there. Outside lights don’t work. Asked host but she didn’t reply. Made night time unsafe on stairs. House needs care. Have stayed here before and it was better.

- Jacques (2/5): great as 2 bedroom house but its NOT a 3 bedroom house!!!! - great location and great house so this house is advertised as a 3 bedroom, it is decidedly NOT a 3 bedroom. its a 2 bedroom house (and those 2 rooms are great and the house is great) The 3rd bedroom is outside the house, its a converted domestic room with a really really shocking outside shower and toilet, that you have to walk outside to access (so in winter you shower and then have to walk out and back into your room. It is actually their laundry room. The people who then stay in that room actually can't access the house after you have locked up as they don't have a key and have to walk all the way round to the front door and be let in. The walk around to the front door is dark and actually quite nasty as there is a drop off where our one friend fell off in the dark and subsequently tore his knee ligament. So all and all a really poor poor excuse for a 3rd room, also if one has children its not where you could let them sleep alone and then the parents are in the main house.
