• Sandrine (1/5): Ne recommandons pas, A FUIR! - Hygiène de la literie inacceptable! A notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que le matelas était couvert de taches sur les 2 faces, tous les oreillers jaunes ou tachés. Les poubelles des chambres n’avaient pas été vidées depuis les précédents locataires en juin! Une seule télécommande pour 3 zones d’air conditionné. Des fourmis mortes dans la baignoire d’une des salles de bain. Accueil inexistant contrairement à l’annonce; avisés par message la veille de notre arrivée nous indiquant le code du boîtier pour récupérer les clés. Quant à la « Sea Vue », seul ceux qui ont une bonne vue pourront l’apercevoir à l’horizon. Nous avons fait face à une attitude très désinvolte de la part de l’interlocuteur sur place qui a relativisé voire minimisé la situation avec beaucoup de légèreté. Nous avons été dans l’obligation de trouver un autre hébergement en urgence le jour même. Malgré les éléments exposés mettant clairement en évidence l’insalubrité des chambres, et par conséquent le manque de considération pour les clients, nous n’avons obtenu aucune compensation ni geste commercial du propriétaire!
• Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing :( - Positively, the bathrooms were renovated and looked aesthetically pleasing (apart from the ants) Please read if staying in peak season! We stayed for a week at the end of June, we landed late in the evening and the apartment was not equipped with toilet paper or towels, which is basic hygiene. Towels were brought the next day but it was clear this apartment was not well equipped compared to other apartments/air bnbs i’ve stayed in elsewhere. I’ve been coming to Carvoeiro with my family all my life, and have stayed on the Vale de Milho complex in a different villa on the other side. In this villa we could not sleep because of the sound of ‘frogs mating’ as we were informed by the retired neighbours, who we were advised were sensitive to noise, but I’m not so sure about that 🤣Around the other sides of the golf course is fine; but just be aware of this if staying in peak season the noise is very loud. The outside balcony was not very well kept at all, and the clothes drying rack was left in a corner broken. This was another thing that e had to get delivered to us. On a safety note, the back door was stiff and didn’t shut properly which is a security issue. There were a few ants and bugs we noticed around the property but nothing we’re not used to as we come here quite often. then one of the days we came home to ants which had almost flooded the sink in the bathroom, and were crawling everywhere. they were coming out of a plug socket which had not been properly sealed. Valentim also came over and sorted this out but again very unpleasant and horrible experience. I honestly felt embarrassed to be the one who booked this for my family and let’s just say my elders were not pleased. Overall it doesn’t look like the owners/managers of this property had properly equipped/cleaned/maintained this apartment, which was very disappointing and put a taint on our stay. Having to message to ask for basic things all the time was inconvenient too.

• Andrew (9/5): Fantastic newly refurbished apartment in a great part of Carvoiero near to beaches, the centre and restaurants! Thanks f - Superb location, great facilities and lovely views over the golf course and towards the sea, with lots of parking and easy access to the apartment. The shared pool was also lovely and very close by. Tim was on hand to check us in despite us arriving quite late and also answer any questions we had throughout our stay. Martijn was super helpful answering any questions before we arrived. All in all a relaxing stay in a great place.
