Guest Reviews
- Kaidi (10/5): Beautiful stay in the beautiful and quiet house - Very nice location in the old town, spacious house and very well equipped kitchen. David was super helpful host and helped out with the heating very quickly as the weather was not what we expected in May. House had amazing views from the rooms and from the terrace. We liked everything, only the rooms should have been aired out a bit as after the long winter there was quite strong smell of closed rooms, also the bed lined and clothes in the wardrobe catch this smell. This did not affect our stay bu this house is not suitable for the small children and people with mobility issues due to very steep stairs and the bedroom set up.
- Petra (10/5): A beautiful villa on a beautiful village - we will be back x - Location ideal in the centre of Gaucin - views stunning xxxxxx Nothing
- Chester (10/5): - Lage und Aussenpool (Kinder waren jeden Tag im Pool!)
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic place to stay and experience wonderful Gaucin. The owner David is eager and willing to communicate and he made our stay super enjoyable.
- John (9/5): we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. - great location. Very good outside space and views of the village. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any enquiries. all good.
- Graeme (8/5): Very good - The property was clean with a great view down the valley. It's well located with several bars and restaurants in easy walking distance We arrived by train at Gaucin station. But the train station of Gaucin is actually in El Colmenar, eight kilometres from Gaucin. There are no buses between the villages and the only taxi was booked out for the rest of the day. We rang the property owner who said that he couldn't collect us; his girlfriend might be able to do so when she finished work a couple of hours later. Otherwise he didn't appear too fussed that we might be stranded in another village. We offered to pay another villager to pick us up and take us to Gaucin, but to no avail. The property owner pointed out, correctly, that it was our obligation to get to the property. But it is also an obligation to inform guests that if they arrive by train they will not alight in Gaucin. Fortunately, our conversation was overheard by a Dutch tourist who kindly offered to drive us to Gaucin where the property owner was congenial
