- Alsop (10/5): A peaceful little oasis in a very busy world run by warm and welcoming hosts. - We particularly liked the quiet of the Cottage, surrounded by all the green trees, as the weather was hot, the cool air-conditioned room was wonderful and peaceful, like a hidden oasis. Everything was clean and neat and well laid out, the outside verandah aera was also a very comfy peaceful place to sit while looking out upon all the green garden area. We had a small ring tail possum visit us on the veranda one night which made it all the more special. The hosts, Rob, Marg and Molly were great, making us feel very welcome there during our stay. We highly recommend you treat yourself to a stay at Stones Throw Cottage.
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional - Margaret and Rob were wonderful hosts, warmly greeting me and giving great tips for the area. The space is so cute and cozy, and the breakfast they provided was delicious. Wish I could have stayed even longer. Thanks!
- Leeanne (9/5): Superb -
- Lewis (5/5): Not as great as it sounds - It was fairly Breakfast was continental so not suitable for us but would suit others. close to town. Cottage very well done up. Very small The host came down when we arrived to explain how things worked but did not know how the induction portable worked so we were on our own and did figure it thank goodness. We luckily brought a number of things with us to enable us to cook without much trouble.
There was an electric fry pan and portable induction to cook on but no oven or other forms of cooking.
The heater for the room had no control and was either very hot or off. It was quite cold that weekend.
Laundry was a surprise as I assumed it was included ( was $ 10 per load). Laundry availability was one of the reasons that I booked this accommodation- this was not really clear in the booking material.
The path leading to accommodation was very slippery and was a real worry trying to transport the luggage to the room.
I am fairly able but nearly slipped a number of times as it was drizzling with rain on the first day.
Parking was on a very narrow street outside the property and not very satisfactory.
Check out was 11 am however the host knocked on my door at about 9 am to my surprise.
- Anatoliy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sue (10/5): A wonderful way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. - Beautiful tranquil place would have loved to sit out on the terrace overlooking the garden more but rather inclement weather. We got text messages from Margaret even one wising us a happy anniversary and to enjoy our night out. So many little extras that made the stay Esperanto special. The weather.

- Roberts (8/5): Very good -
- Danny (9/5): Superb -
- Cassandra (9/5): Superb - We were greeted by Margaret and Rob who took us to our cottage and explained and showed us everything. They had provided very useful things for us in the fridge and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Nice little electric bbq on the patio. The best part was the view from the balcony and the Birdlife was amazing, quite a few parrots paid us a visit on a few occasions. Close to walk or drive to the shops too. Would definitely recommend and visit again! Nothing I can think of
- Lloyd (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is very private in a beautiful garden setting. Attention to detail with inclusions and decor. Excellent pre visit communication. Easy 10 minute walk to restaurants and 15 minute walk to Puffing Billy. Everything was perfect
- Karen (10/5): Relaxing stay in a gorgeous, comfy cottage - A lovely warm welcome from Marg & Rob who met us at the gate and were so friendly.
