- Jane (6/5): Lovely break away - Fabulous location, cottage was cosy and warm. There was some noise disturbance from the adjoining property, which is a cafe by day. Sadly didn't get a good nights sleep.
- Gail (9/5): A lovely place to stay - The location. It is central to local shops, pubs / bars and restaurants. The bedrooms and the lounge are also welcome spaces. Nothing to dislike. Only comments are that the kitchen could do with a few more items eg a few more mugs and oven trays and there could be better mirrors in both bedrooms.

- Pauline (10/5): The greatest stay in Great Ayton - Absolutely amazing stay. I just wish we were staying longer. Immaculate 2 bedroom cottage with everything we could wish for. We stayed overnight after our wedding before our honeymoon.
Amazing location in Great Ayton. Beautiful cottage, coffee machine with pods (much appreciated) basket of condiments, milk in the fridge. Lovely private courtyard with a table and chairs. Bottle of bubbly and card waiting for us on arrival to congratulate us on our wedding.

Perfect position for pubs and shops. The back garden was in a cafe garden with a 6ft fence round for privacy, but it was noisy and you felt like you couldn’t talk privately.

- David (10/5): Ideal short stay - Perfect for a short stay in the area. As a group of 4 we stayed here and loved it. The location is perfect for eating, drinking and accessing the local area. Clean, well-appointed and roomy enough to relax, the place is excellent. It is like home from home. Parking is available very close by. Everything was spot-on!

Parking outside of the property may be a slight issue during the day as it is located next to a (very nice) small tearoom,however no issues at all parking from afternoon onwards.Alternative parking available very close by as a back up.

The Cafe next door smelt delicious everyday so we had to try it and my goodness it didn't disappoint and is a must if you visit Great Ayton. Absolutely nothing

The cottage was spotlessly clean, fantastically well-equipped and comfortable. It had everything we needed and is tucked away in the centre of the village - the perfect location. The lovely welcome basket was also a pleasant surprise on arrival. We loved our stay and can't wait to return when visiting family nearby. Nothing!

Couldn’t fault the property in any way - would definitely return and also recommend to anyone interested in visiting this area.
- Marc (7/5): Good - Loverly presented cottage in the centre of everything. Parking is an issue but the owners can’t do anything about it due to location but you do know that before booking.
Noise is an issue at night from the pub but again the owners can’t do anything about it. To be fair, it was weekend when we stayed so it’s probably quieter in the week.
