• Romain (7/5): - Notre hôte était très sympathique, avec un petit livré dès activités, restaurant... Vraiment un plus 400m de la cascade d’uvita
• Birgitte (9/5): Hyggeligt og roligt sted med søde værter. - Et rigtigt hyggeligt sted med super søde værter. Stedet ligger væk fra larm og trafik, og vi nød de stille aftener på terrassen med smukke og velduftende planter. Stedet ligger i kort gåafstand til et fint vandfald med mulighed for badning i små pools. Man betaler en lille pris for at komme til vandfaldet, men så har man også adgang til et aflukke med sommerfugle. Værtsparret er gode til at informere om mulighederne for oplevelser i området. Der er meget lydt på værelserne, da hele ejendommen er opbygget i bambus (som i sig selv er charmerende).
• yulia (8/5): Agradable - El alojamiento es tal cual en las fotos, muy limpio, la cama cómoda y en un entorno bastante tranquilo. Al lado esta la catarata de Uvita, se puede ir andando. La dueña era muy simpática y resolvió todas las dudas que yo tenía. Muchísimo calor en la habitación y poca luz.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber Preis-Leistung Die Terrasse, mit dem kleinen Garten Parkplatz direkt auf dem Grundstück - keine Tür zum Badezimmer - sehr hellhörige Wände - das Zimmer ist extrem klein, mit zwei Koffern wirklich schwierig- mit Rucksäcken hat man vllt bisschen mehr Platz - der Weg zur Unterkunft ist keine Straße, sondern ein, durch den Regen unterspülter, Steinweg ( kann sich aber natürlich in der Zukunft ändern , falls Straßenarbeiten folgen sollten )

• Ramon (10/5): Very nice place to stay in Uvita - Just a very nice place to stay. The rooms are nice and clean, the host is very kind and helpfull. It's a bit out of town so very quite surroundings. We booked 2 nights and end up staying 5 because it was hard to find better value for money in this area (Uvita to Manuel Antonio). Nothing, just some things that are good to know: no AC but we had no problem with it, the fan was good enough. It's probably better with an own car or you have a decent walk to the center of Uvita. The walls are very thin which could make it a bit noisy, so as long as everybody follows the rules in the evening/at night, it is not a big deal.

• erik (8/5): - La anfitriona es muy amable, el uso de la cosina.. Los muros son muy delgado, se escucha todo.. será más cómodo con unos mesas de noche y un mueble para la maleta.
• Camille (5/5): Bien et Sympathique - Sympathique et assez arrangeant (comme il n’y avait pas d’autres hôtes, la cuisine est restée ouverte). Proche du centre d’Uvita, où tout est accessible. La personne qui nous a accueillis nous a indiqué les lieux à voir aux alentours (trois petites cascades). Attention, il n'y a pas de vue depuis la zone réservée aux clients. La seconde partie (ou deuxième étage) est privé et non accessible pour les hôtes. L'extinction des lumières est à 21h00 (sauf dans les chambres, la cuisine ferme à 20h30), du coup pour un verre entre amis c'est dans le noir! Il n'y a pas de porte privative dans les chambres entre la salle de bain et la chambre.

My room was a bit dark facing the backyards with the window, but i didnt mind so much. Everything else was great!!
• Katherine (8/5): Simple, Clean, and Practical - Bright, large, clean room. The clothes wrack/storage was very practical. I enjoyed the big windows in the kitchen and the proximity to the river and bamboo forest. Bed was hard for side sleeping.

• Larisa (10/5): Exceptional - This is a very small, private guesthouse with only a few rooms (each with private bathroom) and exceptionally friendly host who goes out of her way to make sure guests are comfortable. There is a separate kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals..The guesthouse is located near Uvita waterfall, perfect for a swim on a hot day. It’s a wonderful budget-friendly place, and if you’re looking for clean, affordable accommodation for a night or a longer stay, this will be a great choice

During my stay I saw toucan, hummingbirds, etc. The guesthouse is clean and the kitchen is fully stacked. One of my favourite stays in Costa Rica and all the more better because Janet was an awesome host.
• John (9/5): Superb - Hostel was very nice and the owner Jeanette was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, shower was good and kitchen was good. Uvita is pretty spead out but this was near a lively waterfall and was a short walk to some restaurants/shops and a taxi stand.
• Nadine (10/5): Great, calm stay in Uvita! - Great location, made with so much love. Make sure you have a good car to get all the way to the property, it’s a rough road. Had a piece of lizard poop in the room every day. Just know that this lovely house is in nature.
• Aileen (6/5): Pleasant - Very friendly owners. The shared kitchen. The bedside "tables". If you tried to touch them or put anything on them they kept falling down. The shower curtain rod kept falling down as well. The other curtain rods were extremly unstable and you constantly needed to take care so that they wouldn't fall down too. Missing hooks. In such a tiny space it would be needed to have more hooks to put things. No door to the bathroom, just a curtain.

Facilties were all very clean, and there were lots of animal sighting right on the property. We made it our base for exploring Uvita and surrounding areas.

Very cool and friendly owner, she borrowed me umbrella and gave me some tips where to go. Apartment is really cosy, great atmosphere around, very delicious and huge portion of breakfast (extra paid 3000 colones). Highly reccomend this place ❤

It is nice and quiet for the night, you can cook your meals or find restaurants nearby. If driving there are some pretty cool natural pools within short driving distance ( recommend 4x4 car)

They even have parking opportunities for your car at their property. The host was very kind and helpful. She was able to provide us some useful information of the area and recommended an excellent tour to Corcovado NP!

• Kristin (10/5): A refreshing space near the waterfalls with sweet hosts. - This was a cute place to stay in a neighborhood setting, near some waterfalls. Everything felt fresh and clean. It is attractively decorated and landscaped. The owners are really nice. The Wi-Fi worked well. The kitchen is simple, but very clean, and everything was in good condition. The shower in our room was large and had the option for warm water. There are some nice spots to sit outside to chill or eat. The only real downside is that none of them were especially well-suited to longer computer work sessions, so I mostly ended up relying on a few nearby cafes for this. Some outdoor ceiling fans in the sitting area would help a lot with this.

Therefore really uncomfortable. - walls and door are extremely thin, you can hear everything. - no window grids - running cats on the upper floor are loud - location could only be recommended by car - the bathroom curtain (no door!) is transparent

The rooms are not very soundproof, I could hear my neighbor shoring in the room next to me (good to have earplugs). I would have loved to have a hammock in the shade somewhere to chill out.
• Gretchen (4/5): Not worth the price for a very hot enclosure. Host needs to put a small amount of money into it for at least a screen on - Clean Access to taxi. Very hot room with no screen on window so no air. No private patio. Room right off public patio and booking area so all conversations very clear. No soaps or other basic amenities.

The bathroom was big and very clean, as well as the room. The owner of the hostel was so nice, helpful and welcoming. It’s near a river with a very nice waterfall and the bamboo forest. It’s not so close to the beach, would need a car or other transportation. Best if you want to visit the river and the forest. The bedsheets were mustard yellow and this is the favorite color of all the bugs, so we had some in our bed.

Jeannette is such a sweetheart, always available to help and make you feel at home. Its amazing that there is a river just 20 steps from the property. Really enjoyed my stay there.
