- Jessica (8/5): Schöne Unterkunft, etwas abgelegen aber mit dem Roller gut zu erreichen. Der Weg dorthin ist etwas holprig, aber definit -
- Delilah (6/5): Good for Mt Batur hike - Room it’s self is very modern, bed comfy, lots of space. Host was very friendly. Two local warungs close by. Good place to stay if you’re doing the Mt Batur sunrise hike. Bathroom isn’t the best, floor never dried, water kept cutting out, so didn’t have water some times. Water pressure not the best. So many flies, kept coming into the room anytime you went in and out the door but not the accommodations fault. Definitely need a scooter to get around, otherwise you are stranded.
- Rachel (8/5): Lovely peaceful stay in the countryside! - A really lovely place in the most beautiful setting! The room itself was a good size, very clean and with a really comfy bed. The host family are so sweet and helpful - special shout out to the wonderful Aguss who essentially was my taxi driver during my stay, and was always up for helping with anything I might need. The water pressure for the shower was pretty bad, so I struggled to actually have a proper shower during my stay.
The location is quite far from town, so as someone who doesn't ride a moped, it was quite difficult to get around and there were limited options for places to eat nearby (I ended up opting for the warungs at 2 nearby resorts). This place would be perfect if you drive, though!
- Novianty (9/5): - The location was perfect for us, peaceful and away from the noise. The furniture was comfortable, and although the listing mentioned no breakfast, they kindly served us morning coffee and snacks, which we really appreciated. We also ordered dinner from them, and it was tasty.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The homestay is close to the onion farm, so there are quite a lot of flies during the day, but none at night. It wasn’t a big issue since they provided fly spray and kept the place clean regularly.

- Hennadii (3/5): Avoid this place — basic things don’t work and management ignores guests. - 1. Nice green yard in front.
2. Comfy bed with clean linen. 1. No hot water — completely ignored by staff
There was no hot water in our room during the entire stay.
We asked the staff and management to fix it for two days, but they ignored every request until the moment we checked out.
The problem was extremely simple: a missing fuse for the water heater (costs less than 100k IDR / ~6 USD).
The staff admitted they needed to buy it but never did.
I even offered to help personally, but they refused assistance.
They also refused to move us to another room with hot water, pretending that everything was fine.
I’m confident nothing has been fixed even now — so if you’re reading this, choose another place.
2. Everything else is broken
- Water leaks from the toilet and from the bidet hose, causing the water pump outside to turn on every 3 seconds.
- The room door can only open about 30 cm before scraping the floor, making it difficult to enter or exit.
- Overall, the place urgently needs maintenance.
3. Zero responsibility from management
It genuinely feels like the guesthouse is run by people who have no understanding of how anything works and take no responsibility for basic facilities.
4. Steep and difficult access road
The road leading to the guesthouse is extremely steep and in poor condition. Even a motorbike struggles to climb it.
- Aleksandra (10/5): I loved the place - It was such an relaxing and comfortable stay. The bed is AMAZING! The host was super nice and kind. The water pressure in the bathroom could be better

- Damjan (10/5): Clean, new & quite - At our arrival we have been welcomed with coffee and tea. What a nice gesture. The room was new and very clean. The location is quite and peaceful. The next morning we got fried banana, coffee and tea. The staff is very helpful and very polite. If you need a tour guide, transport, food recommendation, they got you covered. Purna was the best and nicest guy we met so far on Bali. I totally recommend this place. Nothing

- Aris (10/5): Kintamani Village - The building was so clean and new, really close to mountain, love the atmosphere. Really quiet , far from the big road, only nature side with beautiful birds song in the morning! Nothing, everything perfect!
- Noah (10/5): Exceptional - It was definitely perfect staying in Bail!!

- Jimmy (10/5): Worth the price! - The property looks new, it surrounded by onions farm. Ver cool at night, morning is very nice. Nice place to stay when visiting Kintamani!
- Kelly (10/5): I only stay for a night. Hope can spend more time there - The weather is so cold until no AC is needed. The basic amenities are provided and the hosts are super friendly and attentive.
