• Richard (9/5): Comfortable hotel in quiet location. - Clean and comfortable with a nice comfy. Bed. Loved the complimentary filtered water with self top up facility. Good air-conditioning. Not taking credit cards is the major criticism. Little bit of a faff at check-in as reception is not permanently manned but there is a system. A bit of a hike to the beach which was a struggle in 40 degrees heat but I knew the location when I booked.

Jasmine was kind and helpful. Our apartment was really spacious with two balconies. We had everything we needed. Only the mosquitos!

Het bed was veelte hard, heb na 2 nachten rugpijn eraan overgehouden. Het ligt nergens in de buurt, je moet overal met de scooter of auto heen.

• Guest (9/5): Wonderful experience great and helpful land lady and staff - The property is a 2-level apartment complex and tucked off the main road and was quiet and perfectly suited my hiatus or meditative break during monsoon time. The floor plan and room decor and furniture was great and adequate. The air conditioning in the bedroom worked and was very needed. The fully furnished kitchen had all the usually needed equipment and is important for monsoon season as nearby restaurants are closed due to the off tourist season in Goa where most business are only partially operating. The local supermarkets and fresh vegetable vendors had everything one needs to run a kitchen. Renting a scooter and buying a poncho is a must for monsoon rains which can be quite overwhelming. Laundry services were available for payment. Hot water is available through solar heating but the temperature is variable and not well controlled and can surprise you by being too hot or not available. Also the electrical on/off light switches on the wall were plenty by hard to figure out for new comers. Power outages happen for less than 20 mins almost everyday but can be tolerated. The kitchen induction stove does work but slightly unreliably.

The staff made sure the property remained clean throughout our stay not just at the time of check-in. The room is spacious, functional, and a wonderful view. Highly recommended. The area around is calm but it can feel a bit secluded at night especially if there aren't many guests staying at the property. They do have a good wifi connection and you'll need to rely on that because the mobile network in the room is not good.

Owner and Staff was helpful and kind on call and in person. Room was near and clean. Had basic amenities of cutlery, toiletries, wardrobe space, mini fridge, warm water throughout and air conditioned. Needed a dimly lit bulb during night time. A small bucket with mug to fill water if kept would have helped.

They helped us to rent bikes with a local company. Breakfast was delicious. We wanted to extend our stay but Mistral Holidays was fully booked so we stayed in their new Mistral by the sea. Wow what a place, brand new, spacious and a beautiful pool and still the same care from everyone. We would love to stay here again if we come back to the area. Would happily recommend either of their places

Just a short stroll to most things, or maybe a Tuk Tuk trip of your tired. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink nearby. The beach was beautiful with lots of food and drink shacks along the way, free loungers when you buy food and drinks. Very cheap with a large beer costing around £1:50 meals around £4:50 The property was just perfect, I did struggle a bit on a hard mattress and pillows,

• Susan (8/5): Okay stay away from the hustle & bustle. - Quiet, clean with excellent shower & water filter. Walkable to town or 100 rupee tuk tuk. Not such an easy/pleasant walk to the beach. Outside space disappointing. Biggest issue was that we were unable to pay by card.

• Heidi (8/5): I can recommend Mistral Holidays - The Hotel Mistral is in a quieter location, a little away from Benaulim. It was mostly quiet there. The way to the beach was too far for me to walk, so I rented a bike. The room was carefully cleaned every two days by two friendly women. If there was a problem, it was solved as soon as possible. Unfortunately I was only able to get the small double room, which has no veranda. It is good for one person for a few days, for two I would recommend a larger room. There is a good restaurant right next to the hotel. One day the neighbours burned leaves and other stuff for hours, so there was lots of smoke in the air.
