Amazing terrace with beautiful views. Close to restaurants, farmacy, and mini market. Very friendly and helpful owner. Parking is available but the narrow streets can be a bit tricky.

• Andela (10/5): - La Casa Vieja is located in the picturesque village of Taganana, which is a very charming place in itself and can be a good starting point for exploring Anaga Country Park. We were delighted with the accommodation. Very tastefully decorated, with a small terrace with a beautiful view. Communication with the owner's daughter was very friendly and smooth. We can only recommend it.

• Douglas (10/5): - Very clean and cozy cottage near several restaurants, the bus stop and a small grocery store. The host was very responsive and her daughter Carla speaks english and was more than happy to help us with our travel plans. It's modern, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. It's a bit of a walk down to the ocean, but it's a cute town and worth it for the view out the back patio..

Communication with the owner was excellent and we also got some complimentary snacks and beers. Would love to come back here :)

Está completamente equipada y decorada con mucho gusto, las vistas en la parte trasera muy agradables y la terraza delantera es perfecta para desayunar con calma. Las anfitrionas muy amables y siempre dispuestas a ayudar. Detalle de bienvenida: varias bebidas frescas y fruta de temporada.

I slept VERY WELL as the place is quiet and the bed very comfortable. I really appreciated this place starting from the key collection, when I met Marta and her daughter. I can say that, being my first time in Tenerife, this apartment gave me a very good attitude for the rest of the island. Thank you! Please be aware that this side of the island (North) is more about nature and spectacular hikes/mountains - nothing to do with the touristic approach of the south. Not related to the apartment, but its location: Taganana is a nice village 10 miles away from the capital (Santa Cruz). I was not expecting 10 miles might be so far away :) took at least 40 minutes to get to the urbanized world by driving, as the road is full of curves. Ideal if you like to drive (as I do, luckily), but difficult if you're tired. Take this into consideration when booking.
