- Iridaya (8/5): Despite these minor issues, it’s a charming place to stay and a great choice for anyone looking for a warm and unique ex - We stayed in a beautiful wooden cabin in Nuwara Eliya and really enjoyed the experience. The timber work of the cabin was stunning and gave the place a very cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with a gas cooker, and they had even prepared a barbecue machine for us to use, which was a lovely touch. It’s a charming place to stay and a great choice for anyone looking for a warm, unique experience in Nuwara Eliya. Highly recommended! A couple of things to note: the location is a bit high up, so big vehicles like buses cannot reach the property, but vans or cars can get there without a problem. Also, one of the toilet seats was broken during our stay, which could use some fixing.
