- Irene (8/5): A peaceful cabin stay - Peace and quiet, green, digital TV
- Thompson (10/5): Exceptional all round and a perfect gettaway! - My first holiday with my partner couldn't have gone better! The cabin was spotless and so very comfy. The outside paddock was beautiful and hosts were amazing and very accommodating. It is within 20-30 minute drive of most Cornwall attractions including Trebah Gardens, St Michael's Mount and the Lizard Point to name but a few. A walk in the woods nearby full of Bluebells as far as the eye can see was a highlight.
Highly recommended and we are already planning our next visit! Neil & Natasha x There was nothing we didn't like about this location, site or host!

This rural escape is perfect for those wanting a quiet getaway. The cosy cabin is beautifully styled and has everything you might need for your stay. You are immersed in nature and far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Guests can expect to be warmly welcomed where every effort is made to make you feel at home. Nothing I can think of.
- Lisa (10/5): Cozy cabin immersed in natureq - Lovely location, bird sound in the morning, comfy bed and sofas, well equipped kitchen, super cozy, great hosts. Loved it all!
- David (10/5): Highly recommended if you want a remote and quiet break. - Very well laid out, equipped and the welcome from Nicky was fantastic. The farm road to the property isn’t too good for cars with low suspension.
- Abigail (10/5): What a cosy, wonderfully relaxed stay. - What a great property. Cosy, quiet, really well equipped and had everything we could need. We were worried it would be cold in early Jan but had amazing heating, good radiators and a heater in the livingroom that heated it up instantly. Plus bonus of a heated blanket in the bedroom for extra cosiness. Great cooking facilities with gas oven and hob and lovely touches like fresh milk and biscuits. Really good living space and way bigger than it looks from the outside with great lounge area, kitchen, large bedroom and a bathroom. Everything you could ask for. What an amazing place. Will definitely be coming back. Nothing
- Angela (10/5): Everything you could want for a beautiful cosy stay! - Olive’s Cabin is a rare gem in one of my favourite & most beautiful areas of Cornwall. Nicky & David are friendly & welcoming hosts. I loved my cosy, peaceful, 3 nights retreat from 23rd-26th December. After a beautiful walk on the beach at Dollar Cove & Gunwalloe on Christmas Eve, this was the perfect place to hunker in for Christmas Day with all the lovely little festive touches. And I loved just sitting quietly watching the chickens pecking & scratching in the orchard, & collecting a couple of eggs for breakfast. Thoroughly recommend! I was only sad to be leaving on Boxing Day, but my departure was made easier and less painful by a later check out. Thank you!
- Arpitha (7/5): Overall good - Overall good Was too cold and couldn't sleep properly.
- Muralidharan (10/5): -
- Atanu (8/5): -

- Simon (10/5): Excellent location, excellent accommodation. A superb alternative to the local 'corporates' - Lovely cosy accommodation with plenty of facilities. Very comfortable bed. Lots of local information provided in the property folder - I just wish I was there for leisure so I could experience it all. Great communication from Nicky particularly to find the location.
- Ruth (10/5): Fairy tale artistic little home. Gorgeous! - A perfect peaceful place to stay. We felt so welcome! It's like a little fairy tale home. The bed was comfortable and the home was decorated stylishly. Really loved our weekend break.
- Shenai (10/5): - Great cabin everything you can think of and more lovely little thoughtful touches like fresh eggs and biscuits.
- Fiona (9/5): Perfect cosy cabin to explore the Lizard. - The cabin was super cosy and the design style of the cabin was fab, and one of the reasons we booked it. We loved having some private space outside and watching the hens. The location was great to explore the Lizard area. We heard a Tawny owl the first night and a Barn owl the second night and there were birds and wildlife all around us which we loved. We definitely want to return in the summer for a short break. The bed was a little hard for us but we slept well and were never cold, even though the weather was wet and blustery, the cabin heating was perfect.
- Adam (9/5): -
- Gemma (9/5): -
- Kirstin (10/5): A gem in the Lizard Peninsula - Such a secret quiet spot. Perfect to get away from it all. Nothing!!

- Robert (10/5): Fabulous plave - Just fabulousp Nothing to dislike
- Diane (4/5): Not as expected/disappointing - Quirkiness
Hosts
Olive the dog Being in flight path of RNAS Culdrose
Low ceilings (6ft 4in hubby too tall and had to stoop)
TV kept buffering throughout 3 hours of watching it
Location was rural but absolutely untidy/scruffy neighboring area
Weather was awful (rain & wind), resulting in branches/bushes scraping along side of caravan, keeping us awake through night
Water pressure - not enough for shower
The fact none of the above was detailed in accommodation details on Booking.com
- Sophie Wood (10/5): Beautiful cabin stay - Such a beautiful cabin with amazing hosts 😍 cabin was really roomy and had everything I needed. Nicky was so so helpful! Unfortunately it was raining so I couldn't sit outside, but there was a beautiful outdoor space to sit if it was nice
- Dieter (10/5): Peaceful big pleace - The peaceful place, the biscuits, the milk, how clean it was, how big it is & the good communication. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Emily (9/5): road trip around Cornwall from a female solo traveller - Beautiful decor in the cabin. Honestly, it was just serene. The hosts were very friendly & welcoming. Helped me sort the WiFi out too, which was great! The jug of milk in the fridge & cookies on the side was a beautiful touch. Everything I needed was there. If i had wanted to cook it was great as there was cooking oil even! It was clean, and really comfortable. The bed especially! Had a great sleep. Loved the selection of books in the room too.
Loved the nature walk down the lane by the stream, I saw some beautiful dragonflys. It was so peaceful and pleasant. I'll definitely book again. Just a small issue with Netflix not wanting to work...but honestly I wasn't worried, as my trip was to get away from the norm! Not the easiest place to get to, but once you're there it's beautiful! 😊
- Julie (10/5): - Warm welcome, everything we needed for a great stay. Well thought out / fitted cabin equipped with everything we needed . Quiet location, really liked the outside space. Nothing!
- Marco (8/5): Agriturismo - Il giardino. Se il tempo lo permette è bello fare colazione, cenare o passare del tempo nel Dehors. Si sta bene, c'è tutto a disposizione nella cabin e Nicky è molto accogliente. La camera da letto è sufficientemente grande ma un po' umida.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Trudi (9/5): Superb - A lovely peaceful rustic place in a perfect location for exploring west Cornwall and the Lizard peninsula. Nicky was friendly and welcoming and I appreciated the milk and biscuits she left me. Hope to return.
- Julie (8/5): Lovely nights stay marred by the dog attack. - Lovely secluded little sanctuary, really nice decor The owners dog that has free range to the property, our daughter came to visit with her little dog and it was attacked by the owners dog, we fully understand that pets are not allowed but this was a surprise visit and we weren’t prepared, however we feel that the owners dog should not be able to wander into the cabin’s garden, I’m sure the owner herself would be beyond upset if a guests dog was severely injured or killed therefore put something in place to avoid in the first place, she herself said that sometimes guests do not notice the ‘no dogs’ reference in the details ?
- Chris (10/5): Stunning Cabin in the heart of Cornwall - Stunning quiet location, a beautiful cabin in the heart of Cornwall!
Everything you need here to unwind on a break from the city.
Great facilities including a gas oven/hob if you want to cook and prep food for the days, a short distance from many beautiful beaches including Poldhu cove, highly recommend.
The owners came over to introduce themselves and made us feel very welcome.
Thanks guys :)

Bedroom was a great size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Near to Cornwall Seal Sanctuary and some fantastic restaurants in Porthleven and not far to drive to Roskilly’s for a wonderful breakfast!
- Brian (10/5): Perfect location for a quiet weekend get away, or to use as a base for exploring south west Cornwall - Lovely and cosy, all the facilities you need, including washing machine, really quiet and peaceful for a relaxing break and imagine the grounds would be great in the summer with outdoor dining seating and fire pit area. A little off the beaten track, access road down a farm track so a little bumpy.
- Jack (8/5): Perfect for overnight stay, would definitely stay again. - Perfect for overnight stop - simple but what was needed. Spotless and comfortable, close to the coast and local amenities. met host who was lovely as well as visit from Olive ( the family dog) herself! Unfortunately the log burner was out of action which was a shame. Cabin was quite cold in January despite the radiators. Would have been lovely with burner working.
- Jo (10/5): Wonderful stay - The cabin was comfortable warm, quirky and our welcome was exceptional.
Easy access to the lizard. Great walks. Nothing
- William (9/5): Cosy, short and very lovely - The decor and the facilities were really good

We weren’t too lucky with the weather but it didn’t matter with such a cosy cabin to come back to! Some amazing memories made and would love to come back sometime 🫶🏼❤️ Everything was perfect!
- Jean-philippe (8/5): Highly recommended for nature lovers! - Quiet and very cosy cabin in the middle of nature; very well equiped; Nicky is very friendly and reactive. Low ceilings which might be unconvenient for tall people?
- Clare (10/5): Cosy stay in a beautiful cabin - Beautiful inside, clean & tidy.

- Matthew (10/5): Olive’s was a great place to escape to - Serene location, located next to a quiet farm house. Beautifully green surroundings with plenty of outdoors and indoor space. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious lounge. Comfortable bed
- Catherine (9/5): A pleasure and a treat. Bed was so comfortable! - It felt like a home- even if was a cabin. Location so pretty too- cabin in the woods! Only thing I can say is its a long drive from where we live!
- Jose (9/5): Superb - Cosy, nicely decorated cabin. Comfy bed and sofa. Overall well equipped including a full size hob and oven in the kitchen with enough utensils to cook simple meals. Quiet and secluded location and within a short drive of many scenic spots. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Ceiling a bit low for tall people. Inconsistent water temperature in the shower.

- Anonymous (10/5): Solo traveller needed comfort and seclusion with safety, ideally located. PERFECT! - The property is isolated and off the beaten track. Very secure and compact but lots of space. The bedroom is a very large area and fully furnished. The kitchen comes with working oven, hob, toaster, microwave and kettle. All utensils are provided. Plenty of running hot water and separate bathroom. Added touches are everywhere, books, games, blankets and Wi-Fi if you desire. You could not have made the space more welcoming if you tried. I was particularly impressed with everything at the property. Secluded but safe.
