Guest Reviews
- Annika (10/5): Amazing place - Beautiful Place with a lovely host.
We where greeted very warmly and got great recommendations for food and must sees.
It’s only a short walk for good food and great coffee. ❤️
Thank you for having us ! We will be back !
- serena (9/5): - Proprietario gentilissimo, casa accogliente in una posizione comodissima per visitare tutto a piedi! Vicinissimi i giardini di Boboli

- Orla (10/5): You feel like a local and have a true Italian experience. - Great location, 10 minute walk from Pitti Palace but had a real local feel with lovely restaurants, cafes and wine bars full of locals. Homely feel with everything you needed in the kitchen to make a meal. Very eclectic feel
To the apartment, full of character.
- Lindsey (10/5): Overall wonderful - Loveliest responsive and great location Pillows were like concrete
- Paulina (10/5): -

- KONSTANTINOS (10/5): A pleasant stay in Florence - A cozy apartment near the city center, close to all the main attractions.
Marco is a very helpful host.
- Cristina (9/5): - The location is ideal to visit Florence. It is near to everything you need to see but it is pretty quiet so that you can get some rest. The apartment is confortable and very practical.
It has the touch of the host -Marco- who was very welcoming and a great support.
It is a place I would love to get back to.

- Lennon (10/5): Very good stay in a good location would recommend to stay here - Marco was excellent and the location was very good Small shower I am 6 foot 3 was a bit tight
- Avsha.lom (10/5): Exceptional - Marco is a very generous host. He helped us with everything we needed and had some great recommendations prepared.
Marco is a true local and you can see he really loves the city and his neighborhood
- Leni (9/5): Super authentic stay in Florence! Walking distance to great food and sites. - We had a wonderful stay in Florence. The hosts were incredibly informative giving us helpful local recommendations. The apartment is perfectly positioned to explore Florence. A 5 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and a 15 minute walk into the centre of Florence. We also loved being right next to the Boboli gardens and some fantastic bars/patisseries. Would love to visit again!
- Liliana (10/5): Super! - We felt very good, it was spacious, clean starting from the kitchen, dishes, coffee machine, absolutely everything you need in a kitchen, the bathroom was also clean, towels absolutely everything. PS we felt wonderful. Thank you to Mr. Marco for hosting.
- Mate (5/5): Passable - I stayed 3 nights, the first two was good On the third night, the neighbours had a house party. A bunch of 16 year old kids shouting, making noise, it was awful. Before midnight I knocked on their door and told them to stop. They didn't care. An hour later I had to warn them again then they became quiet. This is an old house, windows and doors don't limit the noise at all, if people are loud you hear it through the walls. For this price you expect normal people and not noise like in a hostel.
- Dvorak (8/5): Very good - We had a great time in Casa di Marco. The apartment is in the middle of Santo Spirito neighbourhood with many nice restaurants, shops and ice cream shops. It is only a short walk to Ponte Vecchio and citry centre. Marco was a great host and I recommend his apartment without hesitation.
- Alexander (9/5): Authentic Firenzian apartment with a lovely host who couldn’t be more acco - Really friendly host. Great location away from the busyness of Florence. The apartment felt very homely and was quirky/colourful. Would return. Nothing
- Nigel (9/5): Superb -
- Utsav (9/5): Great location & stay for solo traveller - Marco was a friendly host. He helped me move my heavy luggage up and down the stairs while checking in/out. He was responsive on text when needed. Kitchen stocked will all essential utensils and some basics - coffee, sugar, salt, spices, rice etc. Great location, within 10 minutes walk you are on Vecchio bridge. Low lighting in the apartment. Shower area was small. If you use google maps, then "Lisa Perin" art studio is a better address than the one provided by host to come to this location for taxi drop off/pickup.
- Eapsita (7/5): Good -
- Stefan (8/5): Very good -
- Eduardo (9/5): Better than expected. - The apartment looked better than in the pictures, which was a great surprise. Marco is very friendly and was available when we needed him. The location is great. Although it's central (20mins walk from Ponte Vecchio), it's still very quiet. There's a nice bar/cafe in the corner and also the supermarket is only a short walk from the apartment. The linens and towels were clean, but didn't smell great. Maybe they weren't dried properly.
- Kristoffer (10/5): Exceptional - Perfectly located apartment with a friendly host. Had all the items needed for a good vacation. Could not have asked for more, so many thanks to you, Marco!
- Delaney (10/5): Best location! Super cute, charming & authentic apartment. In walking distance to everything! - Marco was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and generous. The apartment had everything we needed, and was so comfortable and wonderful to be in. The location was central, with everything we needed right outside. At night, it quieted down and was comfortable and peaceful to be able to catch up on rest. It was easy to come and go - it was perfect! Nothing! Everything was perfect!
- Rebecca (9/5): I recommend this place!! - The location, Marco (the owner), and the place was all wonderful! Marco helped us with info on getting to the apartment and renting a car. Quieter neighbourhood (If you want quiet, stay south of the river!). The bed was SO comfortable which was such a lovely change from our other hotels. Marco also gave us a free bottle of wine :) The wifi did not reach the bedroom :( so laying in bed, we had to use data to be on our phones. I think it was his home wifi as he lives across the hall.
- Chantele (7/5): Good -
- Yujia (4/5): Overall, it was an extremely unpleasant experience, and we are deeply disappointed - Pros:
1. Marco is really enthusiastic and even gave us a bottle of wine, though none of us drink. He introduced us about the apartment and the neighbourhood. He also introduced us a free parking location.
2. As we were driving and hoped to avoid the ZTL zone, the B&B location near Porta Romana(3 mins walk) sounds like a good choice for us and a relatively easy way to walk back after we visited the Piazzale Michelangelo for the sunset.
3. There's a Carrefour Express close to the B&B. Cons:
1. The B&B is located on the third floor, no elevator as it's a historical building. The stair is very narrow can only accommodate one person at a time. If you are travel with a big suitcase I do not recommend it. Although you can ask for the help of the landlord(as I said he is very enthusiastic)
2. !!! The bed has a very terrible smell. It smells like damp clothes that haven't dried properly; it's extremely unpleasant. We put clothes on when we slept and did not had a good sleep.
3. !!! We are very concerned about the hygiene situation here. There is dust and dirt in the corners, and what's worse, after sleeping here for one night, we have marks on our bodies that appear to be from flea bites/bedbugs.
4. Also the bathroom was not clean.
4. Loud noise during the night. Sounds like a going-on party.
