Guest Reviews
- Titaha (8/5): beautiful view, lovely stay, feels homely and can host a decent amount for a family dinner - Very comfortable, homely also has a beautiful view and the ensuite was a plus there weren’t any cooking utensils, so do remember to bring those next time
- Ruby Marie (10/5): - Very well equipped, very comfortable beds! Amazing space with everything we needed for our stay.
- Solange (10/5): Lovely place in a tranquil and pleasant area - It is a lovely place in a tranquil and pleasant area with a stunning view Nothing we didn't like
- Maura (9/5): Superb -
- Frank (6/5): Lacks Maintenance and Cleaning. - - the house is in a good area, small shops, dairies, beaches and lakes are close
- the view of the beach from the house was very nice
- the kitchen bench was wide and spacious
- french doors are a good idea due to the beach and sunset/sunrise view, however were a bit hard to open up, hinges could have used a bit of oiling
- the curtains were modern and generally clean and shaded well
- the showers were clean and the water system was not a problem
- the mirrors were clean and big, good
- the items provided underneath the kitchen sink and the kids bedroom’s closet were handy, useful, such as the cleaning items: sprays, liquids, vacuum cleaner, indoor clothes line etc
- there was enough hand wash, soap, body wash, hand sanitizer, good
- the clothing hangers in the bedroom closets were plenty, good
- the kitchen table was a good size and was stable, although the kitchen chairs were a bit unstable and wobbly
- the speaker in the living room in front of the TV was useful/handy
- the dry foods provided in the kitchen drawers were thoughtful, but a good clean of the drawers is required
- the floor carpet seemed/appeared newish and was nice and soft
- the walls were nicely painted
- the main bedroom looked out/faced the parking area which was beneficial (for security reasons)
- overall the house is a good size, is in a good area/location and is suitable for a holiday home for a family up to eight individuals/persons - lack of outdoor chairs (only two) which were also rusted
- a sun umbrella would be beneficial
- the bins in the bathrooms were very neglected (one you couldn’t open properly and the other one had a no bottom at all)
- the bed frames were very weak, creaky, and the mattresses were uncomfortable and worn out. The bed slats were firewood material.
- the bedside table lamps did not work properly and the bulbs were popping and burst
- the main fridge door had no handle as it was broken off
- the sofas in the living room were small and uncomfortable, which did not change if we opened them up
- the deck could have used a paint and polishing, as the paint was worn off
- more dish washing liquid would have been beneficial as it was minimal
- the bedside table drawers were dirty, crummy and not cleaned out
- there were spider webs and a few plastic wraps underneath the beds
- the windows did not open easily and they were also dirty
- some of the bug or mosquito nets installed on the windows were broken/ripped
- the ceiling lights in the kitchen, living room and main bathroom were not working properly or at all, flickering for example
- one toilet button did not work at all in the main bathroom
- the fire alarms throughout the house were installed in the wrong areas and some did not work at all, or worked very badly and should have been replaced a long time ago, years ago. Beeped during the night time.
- the clothes line in the back garden was covered in cobwebs and an old sock was left there which was a bit unusual
- a hose would have been helpful/useful, not just outdoor taps
- there were lots of cutlery and plates but the deep bowls were very limited and not enough
- more toilet paper placed underneath the bathroom sinks would have been helpful/useful
- overall general, simple maintenance is required through the house
