And more importantly it looks exactly same (maybe a notch better) as in the listing pictures. The entire Hoodo Zoe staff needs a special mention. Starting with Amodh (the in-charge), to the housekeeping staff to the security bhayya, all were super sweet and just a call away.

We booked for a few days hoping to stay here for an extended duration if all went well but we left on check out day to never return as there were lots of cockroaches inside the fridge, in the kitchen and basically all over the apartment besides the bedroom. A cleaning crew of 3-4 untrained people showed up only after I complained to the manager via Booking. They seemed to be ready to spray poisonous anti-cockroach insecticide INSIDE THE FRIDGE & ON THE COUNTERTOPS in the kitchen . I stopped them from doing that explaining that it's poisonous and harmful and so they cleaned manually to get rid of the roaches and sprayed it on various other spots in the kitchen but not inside the fridge or on the countertops as I insisted that they should not do that. So, we couldn't and didn't store or cook any food in the fridge or kitchen due to this horrible situation. It was a major factor of our stay but as we were stuck there until check out, we put up with it until check-out day. The only other solution offered to us by the manager besides cleaning was a change of apartment but I wasn't 100% sure the problem wouldn't reoccur in that other apartment as well as the same cleaning team maintains all the apartments at this location. Jetlagged and desperate to get more rest, we chose to complete our stay in the apartment we booked rather than rushing to pack up and move apartments as per the manager's very short notice/deadline to move despite this being their fault and not ours. Not worth the money at all. The location is not good either. Have to get a cab to get to restaurants and everything. Nothing is close by. Impractical.

Big space, Netflix on the tv, washing machine, serurity guard, warm water - if you live in the scandi apartment your one floor over the reception where you can hear the owners kids loudly playing and screaming - no natural light, since I didn’t want to move the curtains (because apartment building is 10cm from the windows)

• Andrew Wachira (10/5): The perfect studio in Bengaluru - The reception by the staff was seamless. Amod, the manager, started sending us details 3 days before we arrived. The studios are tastefully furnished with unique fixtures and fittings. The cleanliness levels are very high. The utensils and cutlery and kitchen items were very good. There were even complimentary spices, milk, and eggs. The availability of clean drinking water was a big plus! This is a very rare find! We shall be back! Nothing

For some weird reason, there was no sink in the bathroom, even though there was clearly space for one, lol. Not a big deal though.

The rooms were beyond expectation, they have taken care of every detail and very clean too. The kitchen had all clean utensils and to my surprise 4 eggs in the fridge, cheese, milk. Also oil, noodles, cornflakes etc. They cleaned the room every day with new towels. The host was very supportive and was always available. Nothing to complaint

• Sneha (8/5): Chic & Comfortable! - Chic & cosy well appointed flats with warm lighting! Quiet neighbourhood which was a plus. The staff were all efficient and pleasant. The manager was friendly and happy to help when needed. The property is well-maintained and tidy just like the pictures portray. Good beds too. The attention to detail was lovely, would definitely stay again! As reviewed by a few others, the one negative would be the hot water in the shower which was only available for about 3 minutes at a time the first two days and there was no hot water at all on day 3, both in my parents' flat and mine. Also, if you only have international credit cards, there's a good chance they might not work. Paid the property via bank transfer.

• Daniel (10/5): The nicest place I found in Bengaluru - The apartment was very tastefully decorated and clean. It also has netflix and full kitchen, cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and cutlery. Shahbaz, the owner spoke very good English so it made communication very easy, he was also a nice guy that was happy to help. He was also very helpful with anything we needed inside the hotel and also outside with information, drivers, translations, places to visit etc. The hotel was outside the city centre which made it quieter and more relaxing but was still easy enough and cheap enough to get to all the sights that you'd want to visit by Uber or tuk tuk. If I was staying in Bengaluru again, I would just go straight to Hoodoo Zoe and not bother looking elsewhere, and I am very particular about where I stay. Having to leave.

The guard and property manager were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend I'm not sure of the quantity of geyser, but after some time the hot water started to go cold . That is the only part where we had issues.
