Carly (8/5): Wonderful location, would recommend - The location was incredible, walking distance to every corner of the island. The room layout was perfect for a family, each main room having a smaller pod bedroom within it. There was a shower room and separate toilet which made morning logistics much easier with three adults. The apartment and island felt very secure and safe, there was a full fridge freezer, each room was spotlessly clean and the towels were ample. There was no welcome pack/bottled water or anything included in the arrival but the shops are open early and late so it wasn't an issue to get out own. While I appreciate the city rules are outside of the control of the residents, it would have been nice to be informed earlier that there was not local free parking as advertised. The local paid parking added well over €200 to our holiday just for 5 days - and as we were on a budget - this had a knock on effect to our activities. I only found this out the day before in the welcome pack. The accommodation also said it came with toiletries etc which unfortunately has run out when we arrived, the host told us we can purchase more from the supermarket. Which wasn't really the point when the accommodation was meant to have it included. These are only small points and shouldn't dissuade anyone from staying but do need to be raised if funds are a consideration for your holiday.
