• Jeremy (9/5): Excellent stay, very well kitted out, would definitely stay again. - The property was very clean, we had everything we needed for our stay, price was excellent, on site parking. There was a screen in the room but really needs a black out blind for the kitchen window. Was woken at about 0430 by the sun coming through.

• Grainne (10/5): Wonderful, cosy, safe haven - This is our third visit to the Big Slepe. It is so cosy and welcoming that it feels like we’re coming home The only thing I would say is that the TV is a bit small. Not a big deal, but after a long day of work it’s nice to just curl up and watch a bit of telly.

Made us feel very welcome. Was easy to find and use. Good info for the property provided. There was nothing in particular I didn’t like. An extra chair would have been useful, a fold up one perhaps due to space.

Decorative and homely we needed a bed to break our journey from Dover in Kent back to Manchester and this was the perfect place Our only criticism is perhaps and blind on the window and door glass at entrance to the room as the light shining in is bright when in bed.

• unsworth (8/5): - Nice location, 10 minute walk to town centre, plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes etc. Beautiful river running through. We used it as a halfway house for a holiday in Norfolk. Not much to dislike, maybe, no cooking facilities apart from a small microwave.

• Sue (10/5): I had a wonderfully warm welcome from Lydgia and immediately felt relaxed. The pretty back patio was very pleasing to my - It was so cosy and homely and in a lovely quiet area. This was in easy reach to Cambridge and some lovely countryside. As a single, older, lady with just my dog for company it was perfect. A lovely shower and very comfortable bed plus everything you need for a lovely stay. Nothing at all. I cannot fault this accommodation.

• Jackie (10/5): Fantastic find! - Fantastic place for our overnight stop with our dog. Lovely green spaces for walking, a pub and petrol station in walking distance. Lovely quiet area and a fantastic private space with parking. Lovely touches, our dog was left some treats, as we were too! We would try to book again and stop over longer to full advantage of the local area. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about our stay.

• Richard (9/5): Superb - The attention to detail and comfort. Amazing that this studio apartment included so much! The kitchen area is "bijou" but contains a washer, drier, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge (together with a sink, of course). The bed was comfortable and there was a nice private seating area outside for the summer evening. I arrived by bus B from Cambridge and there is a stop within 10 minutes easy walk. Nothing really.

Really comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches - Bluetooth speaker, makeup mirror and many more. Our bikes were very safe in the private courtyard. Walkable to the pretty town. We ate a lovely meal at Amore on the quayside.
