• Rahmina (10/5): Pretty stay in Madeira. - The apartment is really in good location, I was pretty surprised to see on arrival that we stay right in the Forum Madeira shopping mall ))) I did not pay attention to this when booking. Inside the apartment you have everything you may need. The view from balcony was so good that all the 6 days we stayed there we had our breakfast in the balcony, I could not have found any nicer place. Parking! Parking! If you plan to rent a car for several days like we did, the availability of private parking slot will be a big plus. I will not share any photos, as what you see in booking is what you get ))))) So definitely recommend the place. There are eating places like KFC below so sometimes the smell of food can come inside. But it was not a big deal for us. Just writing this for awareness.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, przystanek autobusowy przy ulicy, w pobliżu galeria i supermarket. Możliwość zaparkowania auta na parkingu. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Widok na ocean. Trudno ustawić ciepłą wodę w kranie ze względu na piec gazowy w apartamencie.

Asunnon parkkipaikka todella ahdas, toisella puolella betonitolppa ja viereisellä paikalla auto aivan kiinni viivassa, joten helpompaa oli parkkeerata kadun varteen, jossa oli onneksi ilmaisia parkkipaikkoja.

• Nadine (2/5): Disgusting. - Location is good, view is nice. They gave us the wrong code to access the apartment and it took a while to get them to answer the phone. The apartment smelled like mould and was incredibly dirty (dishes, mop, everything). There was sand and rocks inside the washing machine which ruined all my clothes, the shower was full of mould and not sealed properly leading to a flooded bathroom after even a short shower. A lot of things were broken and in need of being replaced. The property manager doesn't even answer my e-mails.

• FongH (5/5): There's big room for improvement on the hardware. Host was responsive and offered their best to help - The property is in the residential buildings above Forum Madeira Shopping Centre. It's conveniently located in Funchal (10 minutes drive/taxi to city centre) and comes with underground parking with direct lift access. The apartment and the kitchen are well equipped with speedy wifi (although the wifi password in the book was wrong and we had to check the router). In general the apartment feels clean. Host is fairly responsive on messages and can be called via phones who fixed most issues. Bed was fairly comfy. The view was nice, facing the sea with breeze in the balcony. Upon check in we got given a wrong code for the key lockbox by mistake. After calling them they have given us the correct code and it's quickly sorted. The apartment is quite dark and there's not enough lights. There is also NO air conditioning in the apartment and it gets extremely hot during sunset since it's facing west. They only gave us a broken fan (which was replaced quickly after I messaged the host but it was still hot during sunset and night.). Also the bathroom needs some renovation. The shower screen was leaky and the shower doesn't drain, which pools the shower tray and spills to the bathroom floor after few minutes of shower. We messaged the host and they got somebody to come and try fixing it (twice!) but the issues were never fixed and the shower still didn't drain. Although this is on the lower end of accommodation prices in Madeira, I would still think this is not the most valued for money options out there until they renovate the bathroom.

Підземний власний паркінг, автобусна станція поруч, торгівельний центр та магазини, які працюють до 23:00, включно супермаркет, балкон з видом на океан, пральна машина, праска і тд., все працювало та було в гарному стані. Обовʼязково ще повернемося сюди.

• Triin (9/5): Superb - We actually stayed at 5B, not 4B but as this now said, all needed equipment at the apartment was available, all needed stores, restaurants, beach are very close. Bed and pillows were comfortable. In overall, apartment is in good condition. Neighbor ´s dog parking late at night, couldn´t sleep well but only 2 nights. Hood not working (for the second time there and still not fixed). Just saying that there is no air conditioner if there would be a need for somebody.

• Andrew (8/5): Nice apartment great location but a bit noisy if balcony door left open for ventilation - Well equipped and friendly welcome. Comfortable bed. Useful parking space. Great location right in/next to the shopping centre and Pinga Doce supermarket. Bus to town right outside also Aerobus stop to the airport. Little balcony with sea view. It is right above the place folk park motorcycles so lots of revving and engine noise till midnight.
• Luca (8/5): Very good - The apartment was very nice and cosy, clean, and had a very good location. The bus stop is in front of the building, from and to the airport, as well as for the city. Underneath the apartments is a shopping mall, this is also very comfy for buying things and going for coffee or breakfast. We enjoyed the morning view on the sea a lot. The apartment has a garage place in case you rent a car. Also, having a washing machine is a big plus. All in all a very nice stay and we can recommend it! There could be some shampoo or bodywash, at least small bottles, for the first arrival. Hand soap was there. The bidet was off of function since not well attached to the ground.

• Fatima (9/5): Superb - Very helpful Carolina. Properly is on 5th floor with good views and next to the shopping centre with a supermarket, which also serves buffet style meals. Funchal is about 30-40 mins slow walk mostly downhill or buses available apposite the property. Property was clean, with a kitchen which included a microwave, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. A little work is required in the bathroom, but nothing to be too concerned about.
• Lauralea (10/5): Exceptional - Attached to a nice shopping mall with a grocery store. A good walk from Funchal but loved being away from the city but close to the mall and all the action.

• Khaysam (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great if you are planning on doing some swimming...many natural swimming pools are close by I got an early check in as I arrived early, so a big thank you for that 😊 Maybe the bathroom facilities can be upgraded, looks a bit outdated and needs service...but for a short stay, it's not a big problem

The views from the apartment were great and the photos just don't do it justice. Car park under was quite tight but was manageable, secure and free which was a big plus

• Anca (10/5): A cozy apartment by the ocean with a good price! - The location is perfect if you are the kind that likes to move around a lot, go on trips and have most of the facilities you have at home too(washing machine, balcony, a complete kitchen and quiet neighbours, even a big shopping center nearby).We stayed for 2 weeks to enjoy the island fully, transportation to the city center is very easy from there, walking or by buses/taxi, the view from the balcony is very nice and we never been bothered by loud noise even with a mall downstairs. We had a lot of help in need from the 2 ladies encharged with the accomodation, fast and caring , nothing to complain about on that matter. If you add the fact that the ocean is pretty close(a beautyful beach, La Formosa is nearby by walking ) and that is full of restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood, i can totally vouch for the location to stay in. Thank you, it was very enjoyable and relaxing! Nothing!

• Maureen (7/5): Nice Seaview - The seaview from the apartment was very good. Good size shower room. Very clean. Washing machine, iron and ironing board. There was a lot of road noise. Because of the system, it was difficult to get hot water in the shower. When we had a problem in the apartment, we phoned 2 different phone numbers and didn't get a reply from either. Luckily, we were able to sort it out ourselves, but it proved to us that we were completely on our own with no support whatsoever.

• Harry (9/5): Property is well located and good value. Host support and communications are excellent - One of the better locations in Funchal. It is a studio, but sufficient for a couple. Property is above the mall that has large supermarket. Parking space is included. Public transit is close by although Funchal buses are not the best with long waits, poor frequency and overcrowding. Airport bus stops at door, Bolt to airport is 20-22€, taxi higher

Although a fan was provided, the room still got very hot. Would be ideal to have A/C . Also the door to get in the building wasn’t very easy to open and it would have been easier to have a code.

• Olena (9/5): Superb - The apartment is situated over the shopping centre. You can find everything you need there. The natural swimming pools with a very good restaurant and the beach 10 minutes walk. The airport bus stops in front. It's takes you 10 min by bus to get to the city centre and marine. There's everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. It's a bit noisy and hot.

Full kitchen with also a washing machine. Nice cosy apartment Because of the shopping centre and also the main road it could be quite noisy until late at night, even with sliding window doors closed.
