• anna (10/5): Great staff - Breakfast was good. There could be a wider selection of fruit. No dressing gown. I was charged for drinking a bottle of water which I thought was unnecessary given that I was staying for 2 nights and it was not clear that I had to pay extra.
• louise (10/5): Beautiful hotel in the heart of Porto - Beautiful hotel in the best location; staff were welcoming, courteous and obliging and the room was extremely comfortable and very nicely presented. The breakfast was good. The would have liked the following (but this not meant as a criticism, I had a wonderful stay). A dressing gown, brighter bathroom lighting, black teabags and milk.

Dit kleinschalige hotel is echt een gem. Zo hoort gastvrijheid te zijn. De verlichting in de kamer en badkamer mag meer gedimd. Vooral ‘s nachts is het fijn als er een klein lampje aangeknipt kan worden
• Clare (8/5): Very nice but room for improvement. - Nicely styled hotel in a great location close to the river and main city attractions. The room was very comfortable and we slept well. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We found the room to be very dark. The lighting was more for style than function. The shaving/makeup mirror in the bathroom was fixed and fine if you are very tall, not so good if you are not. The breakfast offering was average. The lack of hot water for a shower on our last day was disappointing. Initially was not acknowledged as a fault by the staff.

• Laurie (10/5): Loved our stay would highly recommend and would return to the property! - The location was excellent right on the pedestrian shopping street. Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Very nice with stunning interior design, modern but still felt old world charm. Lots of stairs to get to the apartment and once inside there are stairs to access each level, the bedrooms, living area etc. For us this was not a problem and added to the uniqueness of the apartment but if you have mobility issues this could be an issue for you.

• Jeremy (9/5): A wonderful hotel with stunning design and decoration, wonderful staff but in a very busy location. - Everything was fantastic. Great food selections, lovely quiet and spacious dining area, very helpful staff. It was challenging and quite stressful getting to the location because of the extremely busy location. Some might like the vibrant music and crowds but not me. This is not a criticism of Hotel Armazem but of the location-because arriving and getting into our room was always experienced in a positive, calming way- like a peaceful place after being over-stimulated outside.

• Toman An (7/5): Geschmackvolles Design, Komfort mit Einschränkungen - Das Appartement selbst war geräumig, sauber und sehr gut gelegen. Das Design (sowohl betreffend der Aufteilung der Räume wie auch der Inneneinrichtung) ist sehr gelungen. Das Bett war ausgesprochen bequem und sehr gross. Alle Ausstattungsmerkmale wie Warmwasser, Heizung, Geschirrspülmaschine funktionierten einwandfrei. Die Ausstattung der Küche ich rudimentär, es fehlten z.B. ein Sieb oder eine Schere, dies konnte auch auf Nachfrage nicht bereit gestellt werden. Es gab keinerlei Grundausstattung (z.B. kein Küchenpapier, keinen Zucker, keine Tissues im Badezimmer) und bei der Kapsel-Kaffee-Maschine lagen für 4 Nächte Aufenthalt ganze zwei Kaffeekapseln bereit. Im Zimmer werden Minibar-Artikel bereitgestellt, die jedoch extra bezahlt werden sollen und überteuert sind (z.B. 2 Euro für 100ml Milch). Während des ganzen Aufenthaltes wurde das Appartment nicht von Service-Personal betreten, so dass z.B. auch das Toilettenpapier nicht automatisch aufgefüllt wird. Die Ausstattung mit Handtüchern ist minimal. Uns wurde eine Zwischenreinigung für 25 Euro angeboten, die wir nicht in Anspruch nahmen. In diesem Preis- und Sterne-Segment erlebe ich das Appartement vom Service her deutlich unterdurchschnittlich. Dies lag nicht am Personal, das sich Mühe gab, sondern am Konzept des Hotels.

• Avi (10/5): שהיה מפנקת במרכז פורטו - זאת הפעם השלישית שאני מתאכסן במלון הזה בפורטו, הוא מלון קטן מעוצב נפלא ומרגיש איכותי בכל נגיעה. ארוחת בוקר מעולה חבל רק שפספסתי את האחרונה כי טסתי ממש מוקדם. אני ממליץ בחום! כל פעם שבאים למלון צריך לצלצל ומשהו חש לפתוח את הדלת. הם טוענים שזה לא מפריע להם אבל זה סידור די משונה וקצת מעיק. אני מעדיף לפתוח את הדלת (הראשית) בעצמי ואם לא רוצים שהיא תהיה פתוחה תמידית אפשר לנעול אותה עם קוד או או עם כרטיס המפתח לדלת החדר

The breakfast is wonderful and met all of our dietary requirements. The rooms are extremely clean, quiet, and the air conditioning was phenomenal. Further the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. However, the staff is what made the experience so enjoyable and memorable. They considered our every need and pleasantly surprised us with their commitment to exceptional hospitality. We have several travel changes and ended ups staying at the hotel twice in a week, as we firmly believe any other hotel in Porto would have disappointed us. We cannot recommend the hotel enough. If you are traveling to Porto-stay here! Everything was wonderful!

• Smita (10/5): Awesome place. We would highly recommend. - Awesome vibe! Artsy and cool hotel. Amazing location. We literally saw all of Porto on foot without needing any Uber/transportation. Decent breakfast. I loved the buzzing neighborhood. If you’re an introvert who loves a quiet location, this in probably it the place for you. We absolutely loved it. Fern was amazingly friendly and nice! Bathroom could use better lighting.
• Carina (9/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - Love this hotel, the architecture and design is very innovative. It's my second stay here and with the warm welcome, I certainly was not disappointed. Breakfast starts at 8am. As we were starting walking the Portuguese Camino this was too late for us. The hotel was, however, very accommodating and we made arrangements to go to breakfast a little early.

• Alexandria (10/5): Highly recommend staying here for the great location, amazing staff and beautiful rooms. It’s definitely worth paying a - It is such a beautiful property with lovely people. It was everything I hoped it would be!!
• Heather (7/5): Overall, a worthwhile place for the money as it was centrally located. - Due to the location and design,the hotel inside had little sunlight, few windows: it was fairly dark. Also we found the service during breakfast somewhat lacking. People were polite, it was not well-organized.
• Anna (9/5): Lovely stay - Super lovely stay at the hotel. The welcome was lovely from the staff, the room was perfect and the location was excellent. I think if I had one comment it would be about the coffee at breakfast. The staff were super helpful and sorted it out by replacing the pot but the coffee still wasn't really hot. Anyway nothing major and still a really lovely stay.

• Markus (10/5): Alles top! - Das Team war super nett, das Frühstück top inklusive Eierspeisen à la carte und Cappuccino. Die Lage ist super zentral und man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Klimaanlage war etwas laut.
