• Kuniyoshi (10/5): 自転車旅行の中継地点 - 自転車旅行目線で、ロケーションが良い（紀の川沿いの自転車道へ簡単にアクセスできる）。 自転車を室内に入れることができる。部屋は２階だが階段にスロープがあり自転車を運びやすい。 自転車ラックのない普通の部屋に自転車を入れさせてもらった。こちらでも自転車を置きやすかった。 スーパーが至近距離にあり食料調達がしやすい。 自転車ラックのある部屋があるけど、ラックの分だけかえって部屋が狭くなし、逆に不便な気がしました。私達が宿泊した日はラック付きとラック無しの両方の部屋に空きがあったため、両方見させていただき、ラックがない部屋にさせていただきました。

• 美衣 (8/5): - The female staff there was super nice! - very friendly and very helpful. The facility downstairs added a bonus point for us, as we had a whole place for us and had great craft beer. The wall between the rooms is so thin that we could hear almost everything the next door.

• Julie (9/5): Chambre super pour un rapport qualité/prix incroyable. - La chambre est vraiment belle, moderne, propre et confortable. Il y a de quoi faire sa lessive au RDC. J'aurais aimé pouvoir disposer d'équipement et ustensiles de cuisine dans la chambre.

• Shouji (10/5): 大満足 - １　マットレスが厚く、ゆっくり寝ることが出来た。 ２　部屋に、洗面所とトイレとお風呂があり、便利だった。 ３　タオル、バスタオル、歯ブラシセットなどがあり、行き届いていた。 ４　スタッフさんと話したが、いろいろ話が弾んで、良かった。 トイレがウォッシュレットだったら、もっと良かったかな。

Staff super friendly and helpful too. 安くてきれいでおすすめです。 Bedside light was out of battery which is only very minor gripe. Bit of a distance but still walkable from the JR station but close to Wakayamashi so not a real problem.

• Hoi Yan (10/5): - Spacious room - we are able to place 2 big luggage and still have space to move around. A supermarket opposite and Donki store 10-min walk away which opens till 3am. Loads of eateries nearby. Helpful, friendly staff. Some might find the toilet small. Not a problem if you are petite.

• Madison (10/5): Charlie’s Bed is great for those who want to cycle around Wakayama City and surrounding areas. The staff were incredibly - Charlie’s bed had amazing and spacious rooms. The common area was filled with information on where to go in Wakayama and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. It is a little far from the main area of Wakayama City, however there is a train station nearby.

• chunqi (9/5): - 入住前会发邮件告知房间门锁密码以及楼下公共区域密码，入住以来都没怎么和工作人员有交集，很适合社恐，房间也比想象的大。对面就是一家大超市还有药妆店（不免税），可以买点食材自己在房间做，楼下可以借锅碗、调料、生活用品。离繁华的区域还是有一定距离的，不过和好朋友一起散散步逛过去也很不错啦。 晚上还是蛮吵的，旁边就是公路，晚上能时不时听到摩托车、救护车的声音，不过有提供耳塞，能减少一部分噪音。要是能有个大一点的桌子就好了，吃个饭桌子都摆不下，只能放地上。马桶不是智能的，冬天的马桶好冻pp，需要勇气。通风一般，房间会有味道。

• Joe (7/5): A good place to stay for any bike-themed trip. - The room has very convenient self check-in with easy 24/7 access to the storage room/lounge areas. These are available prior to check in as well which is nice considering check in is from 3pm. I left my bike (a fairly expensive carbon bike) in the storage room with peace of mind given the bike rack and lock that is provided and secured to the wall. The room is separate from the communal areas and on the second floor. The room is very clean, of adequate space, and has a small bathroom and kitchen area. The beds are extremely comfortable by Japanese hostel standards and I also thought the lighting was cozy as well. The room has all the amenities you may need as well with a AC/heating unit as well as a humidifier and small fan. It’s also close to many restaurants and only a five minute walk to Kiwa Station (be mindful of train times though as there is only one an hour outside of rush hour). As many other reviews mention, the room is quite noisy. It’s located on a main road so you get noise from loud motorcycles and cars that drive around and making a ruckus. The staff is kind enough to provide ear buds which does well in solving that problem. However there is a problem in that a lot of noise and vibration comes into the room from neighboring rooms and from the lounge downstairs. I had a bike race the next day and planned to go to sleep early (9pm) but the noise of people moving around came through the floors and walls and kept me up. I am sensitive to noise, however, so some people may not have an issue. It did eventually get quieter later in the night.

• Alfred (9/5): Bicycle friendly hostel with great private rooms and vibe. - This was our second stay at Charlie’s. It’s a comfortable friendly hostel with a nice lounge area and well equipped rooms. They also have a great area for bicycle storage and maintenance. There is a little bit of traffic noise but it goes away during the night.

• Indigo (10/5): - The room was much bigger than we had expected. It was comfortable, had a big kitchen, and a decent sized bathroom. The hotel was close to the main drag of Wakayama, and we were able to visit various restaurants and tourist locations with ease.

Supermarket across the street and good bike shop next door ! Bathroom a little cozy for very tall people … but not a major issue

• Susanna (9/5): I 🩷 Wakayama - The hostel is cozy, clean, well-equipped (dishes and spices can be borrowed/used, and there are washing machines), and well-located. Directly across the street is a large supermarket and drugstore, where you can find everything from mosquito repellent to complete meals. A bus stop, from which you can reach the JR station in 7 minutes, is a one-minute walk from the hostel. But the heart and soul of the hostel are the staff, who are consistently friendly and helpful and all speak good English. Anyone who needs a recommendation or assistance is in good hands there. I am truly satisfied with my stay overall. Nothing

Jy retournerai sans - Les chambres paraissent petites mais elles sont finalement assez spacieuses pour deux. Il manque peut être une petite table et 2 petites chaises / tabourets pour les chambres à deux. Ça serait plus pratique.
