• Christine (7/5): - Wohnung war OK ,für europäische Verhältnisse einfach ausgestattet,für Afrika ganz gut.bett Matratze sehr gut klein aber fein. Etwas mehr Sorgfalt bei der Reinigung,leider waren nur 2 Platten am Herd in Ordnung ,Rasenteppich auf dem Balkon löste sich auf deswegen viel Schmutz mit in die Wohnung gebracht

• Nicole (10/5): The best apartment in Fumba Town! - This property is top tier. I have stayed at many Fumba properties. This one is my all-time favorite. No detail was missed. We had a blender for morning smoothies, a microwave AND cooktop (gas & electric). They thought of everything!!! You would not be disappointed 🖤
• Kishore (8/5): Good apartment, good location, nice weather, all good. Needs little fine tuning & training to staff. - Excellent help from Wayne. Right from booking online (2 months in advance) to the time i checked out. The apartment by itself, which was perfect studio apartment. Horrendous experience. Checking in: There was no attendant by the time i visited and the main gate staff couldnt understand that i need the apartment keys. though I have shown the reservation print out from Booking.com which has my name, confirmation number, apartment name etc etc., they couldn't understand. The security staff made me wait for 1 hour and were searching for keys. It was nightmarish experience. The walkway to the apartment was pitch dark and no lights. I have to search for the block and the apartment number. Once i entered, there was no wifi. The staff could have kept the password noted on a paper and left on the table. The balcony doors were open and it was dark outside. The AC remote batteries were already discharged and one remote doesn't have batteries. Maintenance: The apartment was cleaned only one day, during my entire stay for a week. I have to explicitly call and ask for cleaning. However, Booking.com has charged the cleaning charges for all the days upfront. Appreciate if they revert back those cleaning charges levied without any service. Mr.Wayne: can you look into the cleaning charges and revert back to my credit card. The water bottle was kept only on the first day. There was no coffee / sugar powder to prepare coffee. I only see 2 tea packets there on the first day. No coffee / tea bags replenished for entire week. overall its a poor quality and low maintenance. Absolutely no service at all. During my entire week, i havent seen the flat attendant or manager or front desk. No admin stafff whatsoever. All i could manage is with the help of Wayne, who really helped me whenever needed. He was always helpful and proactively volunteering for a help with transport details, wifi password, house cleaning. All these via WhatsApp messages. Not sure i have the full hold on the T&C of this hotel, there is huge gap in expectations and lot to catch up.

• Nancy (8/5): Comfortable, out of town apartment near the sea for a relaxed stay. - We enjoyed our stay. Aisha was most helpful, especially getting the tv sorted. And the shuttle driver, Digo, was always available for airport transportation and the various activities we had organized. It was convenient to have the grocery store, liquor store and restaurants nearby. Wayne, the rental manager, provided ongoing assistance before and throughout our stay and accommodated our late arrival. Dishes and utensils in the apartment were limited but adequate.
• Nadine (8/5): Ideal for solo travelers - Wayne is a great host. Super responsive and always there when you need him. The apartment is clean and has everything you need for your stay in Fumba Town. The bed and the sofa are comfy. Wayne alap arranged airport transfer for me which was great, Digo is wonderful! Worth mentioning is that the apartment is equipped with a brand new washing machine. It has two TVs, in the living room and the bedroom, I didn’t even switch them on though. Fumba Town is located on the west coast of Zanzibar. It’s more a residential area with a very unique community vibe. The town has a pool, a chill bar right at the sea, awesome food at the “Play,” a monthly community market, pilates and water aerobics and so much more. Definitely worth a visit! The bathroom is quite small, but just in front you’ve got space to park your belongings.
• Mr. (8/5): Nice apartment. Resort to be improved - Apartment size and equipment is good. Landlord and local host supportive and friendly. Inside resort still many constructions ongoing, too less amenities and no beach to lie at water.
• Mihaela (8/5): Very comfortable little apartment. - Had everything needed, well equipped and comfortable. It is situated in Fumba which is a very quiet residential area. The host was very helpful and responsive. The area it was situated in. We didn’t do our research on the areas in Zanzibar and Fumba turned out to be very secluded and with a lot of construction around with not much going on.

• Nyatanga (10/5): Fully functional apartment and hosts are easy to contact. It was a lovely stay! - The location was ideal and because it's a gated community, there is access to restaurants, including one that is near the beachfront/ reef coral. Across this street when you get out of the gated community, there is a mall, and you can do some shopping at the supermarket and dine at another restaurant next to a coffee shop. The location is really convenient. Fumba town gives you a chance to also live like a local, and it's easy to meet other foreigners there who can give you more information on how to go about seeing different places. We met so many other foreigners who actually lived there, ate with them, socialized with them, and got recommendations from them. The hosts checked up on us and we're easy to contact.
