The rooms are kept clean and tidy, and there's a large garden, river, and mountains, so the views are fantastic！！ They also suggested activities for me and acted as guid.　　thank you very much！！ Nothing

• Andre (9/5): A very pleasant stay . even though a communal kitchen and lounge ,the facilities and space were very - The setting was very pleasant next to the river. Access was a bit difficult as we did not have swazi simcard and had to get someone to phone the owner to unlock the gate to let us in. The Host was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The lodge's scenic views, great location, excellent food was a highlight of my stay. I would highly recommend Bertos Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it ten stars if I could!
• Erwin (10/5): - Wonderful location by the river. Spacious and comfortable room. The owner was very friendly and did everything to accommodate us. The remote location didn't bother us, we had dinner made by the lodge staff on both nights of our stay. Nothing - the only thing you need to be aware of is that the access road is a bit longer/at a different location than Google Maps shows you. However, the owner will make sure that you get clear directions beforehand.

• Dbotha (10/5): Spacious guesthouse on river - Ding is an outstanding host and Bertos is very clean and homely with a lovely view over a largish river. English breakfast was great and nicely served in a basket with checked cloth. Nicely furnished and spacious kitchen has all one needs one needs for a family getaway. Aircon in the bedroom which was a blessing given the heat. Ding even thoughtfully provides boardgames .Lots of birds and beaitifultrees. It was fine for us as we were the only guests but introverts might like to know there are 3 rooms that are available to different guest groups so you might find yourself sharing. (House not room 😉l). A pool would have been an added bonus given the very hot weather but cold showers cool one down too. We are very grateful for Ding and Mike's warm hospitality and would definitely like to visit again.

• Dlamin (10/5): Going back again soon! - Such a romantic gateway. Home away from home. Our gorgeous hosts even surprised with NYE champagne and a gorgeous breakfast in the morning. Loved the river flow sound. Fireplace was so cosy. Games to play. So much life in the farm. Safe too. Spent the whole night outside, no trouble. Only wish the river would flow by the bedroom window for the sound, but im being selfish, everything was perfect!😁🌱

We got everything we asked for, she even put new bath towels for us...when we needed to braai there was someone who will come and make a fire for us...then she gave us the best experience when she came with her family and took us for a swim in the river that makes a whole spectacular view of the lodge...the river has an Island 🏝️ omg we are definitely going back there it's really like a little heaven Nothing

It's like being a million miles away from the worries of the world. It has a great spot to hang your hammock....... The only thing missing was a kayak or canoe to enjoy a ride on the river. 🙂

I met the most amazing, friendliest hosts, and got to enjoy the tranquility that comes with their place. I highly recommend! I has so much fun, had amazing food and a great view of the river. • Masango (10/5): Exceptional - 10/10 tranquility. 10/10 cleanliness. The interior set-up is amazing, the paintings are breathtaking. Comfortable bed, we could sleep forever 🤗. Also love the idea of the smart t.v and wifi. 10/10 welcome. The support was exceptional from arrival to departure. Nice garden, and perfect river view. We definitely visiting again. Nothing. I just look forward to the complete park by the river bank, it will complete the garden look.

• Pieter (10/5): Amazing! I will book at Berto's again for my next trip to Swaziland! - The river view is amazing. Nice green grass for children to play on. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not even have to wash any dishes! It was an amazing Swaziland experience with the host telling us more about the country and places to visit.
