• elizabeth (10/5): Excellent - We are a couple.Our second visit.A beautifully restored house provided with absolutely everything that you could want,comfortable and a couple of minutes walk from the sea front. Small supermarket and restaurants one minutes walk.

• Sally (10/5): Gorgeous house in the heart of the village - Great little house right in the centre of Santa Luzia with many great restaurants near by including Zurata and just a short stroll for the ferry across to the beautiful beach of Terra Estreita, The house was beautifully clean and very well equipped! Lovely to be able to squeeze our own orange juice in the morning, fantastic local store across the road that sells virtually everything including fresh oranges. Our host was very responsive and friendly. The beds could have been a little more comfortable. But that’s just a personal opinion.

• liz Malcomson (5/5): Perfect house. Would come again when building works complete. - The house was decorated tastefully and was equipped to the highest standard. We liked everything.However due to very noisy building works immediately behind the property we had to leave early.

• Alan (9/5): Lovely villa in the center of St Luzia - The property is clean, newly decorated and quite well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. It has 2 single beds in one room and 1 double in another room. A/c worked well, both hot and cold modes. The layout of the house is quite unique but charming and practical with the terrance and pool at the living room kitchen level. The small pool was clean and completely private. There were lots of towels and linen available but we were just 2 people. Unfortunately we couldn't sleep in the double room in the front of the house it was far too noisy, street noise and cars/bikes. The windows didn't do anything to isolate the noise. The private pool is great but the water was so cold, even in October, with no way to warm it, even a little bit. There was an issue on arrival accessing the house. The code we were emailed didn't work. We had to wait outside for 30mins for a new code. The staff were friendly and helpful but it was a slight annoyance to deal with on arrival. 83€ is a bit high for a cleaning charge.
• HouseRaver (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the property was to a very high standard and in a perfect location - The location was great and the facilities within the property were impressive so you really didn't want for anything. There are plenty of nearby shops and restaurants and it's a two minute walk to the sea front so perfect! Nothing to dislike, this is a great place to stay so no complaints.

Adoramos a pequena piscina que faz toda a diferença ao final do dia depois de um dia de praia e noites quentes de algarve. Perto de mini-mercados e dezenas de restaurantes. Vamos voltar certamente. TOP O que menos gostamos foi só não estarmos habituados ao sina da igreja tocar todo o dia e madrugada. Mas mesmo assim não será por isso que não vamos voltar.

• Sally (9/5): A unique home in an authentic fishing village - The house was situated in a very traditional fishing village still retaining its authenticity. The house was beautifully decorated and incredibly well equipped! There were two fabulous restaurants close by, would definitely recommend Zurrata! There was also a shop over the road sticking everything you could wish for! There as also a ferry that sailed over to a beautiful and peaceful beach every 30 mins. Santa Luisa is located a short distance by car from Tavira and all the Ria Formosa has to offer. There was an issue with the air con during our stay which was completely unfortunate and unforeseen. My choice dealt with the inconvenience in the appropriate way.
