• sujuan (7/5): 不好 - 房子大小还行，尤其卫生间比较大，我们入住是提前压信用卡付费，退房时房东也没有说旅游税需要另外现金支付，而且也从来没遇到过这种情况，房东送我们出门也没说，结果我们游到下一处住宿时，房东拼命联系我回去给她付费，让她从信用卡里扣也不肯，各种折腾，最后我们把现金放在了下一个房东那里委托她保管等房东来拿，结果等了好几天她又不去拿，你房东这是几个意思呢？大钱付得起，几个小税我们付不起吗？而且你为什么不同时一起扣掉？这样折腾别人？ 床上用品是灰色的，看不出是否被换洗过，不舒服的味道非常重

• Joanna (1/5): Nie polecam - Ładna kuchnia, wystrój europejski, ale to tyle z plusów Właścicielka oszukała co do standardu - łazienka miała być prywatna, a była ogólnodostępna i znajdowała się poza pokojem, o czym oczywiście nie zostałam poinformowana wcześniej. A w niej po ścianie chodziły mrówki... Nigdzie nie było tv, pomimo informacji, że ma być. Pokój był 3x mniejszy niż podana wielkość (było podane, że ma mieć 30 mkw, miał maks 11 mkw...) basen był brudny, brzydzilo mi się do niego wejść, więc w rezultacie przepłaciłem za coś, z czego nie skorzystałam. Właścicielka po zgłoszeniu uwag w ogóle nie chciała się dogadać, miała mnie w d. Po domu chodził kot, o czym też nie było żadnej informacji, a moja koleżanka, która ze mną podróżuje ma uczulenie na koty i cały pobyt się męczyła. Śniadanie też pozostawia wiele do życzenia - ostatniego dnia pobytu nie była dla nas nawet żadnego pieczywa :) ogólnie nie polecam. Zdjęcia plaży nie wiem skąd ukradziona, ale najbliższa plaża zdecydowanie tak nie wyglądała

The room includes a private bathroom and a shared kitchen, both are large, modern, and clean. Thalie is always easy to reach if you need anything. The pool is great, everything is clean, and the breakfast is delicious. Thank you to Thalie, Noelle and Gwen, we had a wonderful week here. The area is quiet, though there is a construction site next door at the moment, which didn’t bother us personally at all. It is well-located, close to many beaches, Restaurants and shopping options. -

• Elodie (6/5): Chambre bien située mais sans intimité, avec un bon petit déjeuner et une hôte attentionnée - Le petit déjeuner est excellent et très complet, servi dans un cadre agréable au bord de la piscine. L’hôte est sympathique et réactive : bien qu’elle n'ait pas transmis les informations d’accès avant notre arrivée, elle s’est montrée disponible et serviable pour résoudre la situation rapidement. La maison très contemporaine manque un peu de chaleur et d’âme, ce qui surprend pour un lieu nommé Joy Home. L’intimité est assez limitée, même si l’hôte a eu la délicatesse de nous attribuer la chambre du rez-de-chaussée et celle de l’étage à l’autre couple. Dans notre chambre, le rideau cassé empêchait de laisser la lumière allumée le soir sans être vu depuis l’extérieur si d’autres rentraient plus tard et n'occulte pas la lumière du matin. Une porte d’armoire était également bloquée, ce qui laisse penser qu’un contrôle plus régulier des équipements serait utile. À ce niveau de prix, la présence de lampes de chevet serait appréciée, tout comme de la verdure autour de la piscine et de la peinture sur le mur en enduit gris. Le matin il est difficile de profiter d’un moment calme car le personnel prépare le petit-déjeuner juste derrière la porte. De plus, un chantier à quelques mètres démarre tôt avec les ouvriers ayant une vue directe sur la terrasse du petit-déjeuner. Enfin, l’accès en voiture demande un peu de manœuvre lorsqu’un autre véhicule est déjà garé dans la cour. Dans l’ensemble, malgré une localisation pratique, le séjour laisse un sentiment mitigé, l’endroit donne davantage l’impression d’un hébergement touristique standard que d’un lieu véritablement accueillant.

Wir hatten anfangs nur etwas Schwierigkeiten den Schlüssel zu finden, sie hat dann aber über WhatsApp geholfen. Das von ihr zubereitete Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet und es gab viel Auswahl. Es gab im Zimmer leider keinen Schrank für die Kleidung. Die beiden Hauskatzen fanden wir sehr süß. Die Lage ist etwas abseits. Der Strand ist aber zu Fuß schnell erreichbar.
• Samuel (1/5): Most terrible experience on booking.com over the years - I thought the decor was nice. Animals; to include cats, bugs inside, and a rude host. Not very accommodating. Had to seek a refund through booking.com support and I urge all travelers to Mauritius to spend their money elsewhere. You can see based on the host response to other previous guests just how much she goes against the grain to ensure a welcoming and nice stay. For a property that says “no pets” it’s quite insane to have to deal with so many animals.

I can recommend it. Especially to people who like quiet accommodations with less travelers. Parkingspot is a bit tricky and tight. But it works, when you know how. It's easier with a small car. There is a building side next door. They start to work early, but it's not too noisy. And of corse temporary, till the house is finished.

La salle de bain est sur le palier. Il y a aussi une piscine devant la maison. Thalie est accueillante et accommodante c'est très appréciable ! La communication est limpide et réactive. • Nico (7/5): A tranquil place - Tranquil area and nice swimming pool. Friendly assistant/care keeper. There were two cats in the house when we arrived, and after mentioning my cat allergy, we did not see them again until the morning we departed. The room was a bit musty when we arrived, but with the aircon running, the room was fine the next day. A rubbish bin in the room and bedside stands would be a welcome addition to the room. Although the beach is only 3 minutes walk away, the marketing foto is a bit misleading, showing a beach scene.
• Andy (1/5): Disappointed - Nothing It was saying, no pets allowed, but when we arrived there were two cats living in the house, during the night the cats were constantly going up down the stairs bringing in dead rats and birds, which made the house smell terrible, while trying to use the bathroom i found a cat eating a mouse on the floor- there was blood everywhere. It was absolutely disgusting. Another issue was the lack of privacy. The listing didn't make it clear that you would be sharing the house with the owner. For me the price we paid i expected more privacy and a better standard of hygiene, the cat were even on the kitchen table, which i found very unhygienic, especially for people who might have allergies. There a pool, but it doesn't make up for the uncomfortable experience of sharing the space with strangers and animals, the host needs to be upfront in the listing about the cats amd the shared situation, i would not stay here again.

Our room and bathroom were very clean, spacy and modern. The whole house was very nice and the area safe and calm, with a lot of restaurants and shops around. The property is new, very clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly and the whole place was quiet, which made it very relaxing The bedroom and private bathroom were cozy and comfortable, and the shared kitchen and living room were clean and well-equipped. There was also a lovely pool in the garden, which was perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a day out. Thalie was a wonderful host—friendly, welcoming and always open to questions. She did her best to make sure we were comfortable and to accommodate any requests we had. Each morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast with local fruits, eggs, bread, and a sweet treat like pancakes, crepes or cake. It was always fresh and tasty and we loved enjoying it on the terrace. She was also very flexible with breakfast times, which made planning our days so much easier. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to Trou aux Biches Beach. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend staying at Thalie’s house!

• Juliana (6/5): Pleasant - The place is new and quiet, nice furniture, good wi-fi, big toilet, and a good shower. The room and toilet were clean on arrival. There is an air conditioner and fan in the room. And an small terrace. On the first day we could not get the cash to pay (as we found out that only cash is accepted when we were already at the airport) and the owner kindly brought us to an ATM in her own car. The "breakfast included" is actually partially included (more of make your own). Meaning, the owner will provide you the ingredients, but you will need to cook it by yourself. For us, that was a HUGE minus, since, the first filter we put in Booking when we make a search, is the breakfast included, as we do not want to worry about that during vacations. We felt cheated, as far, there is even a picture showing an all prepared breakfast! Even your coffee will need to be prepared by you in a french press. There isn't any type of electric coffee machine! After 2 days we were there, another couple arrived and many times we had to wait for them to finish cooking their breakfast in order for us to start ours (and vice versa). Besides cooking, you will need to remember to message her one day before which ingredients you will need. Which is odd! In this case scenario, we would rather take an apartment and stay all on our own. Make our groceries and that is it! Apart from that, there was no bed cover of any kind. Only the mattress sheet and pillow case. We had to ask, as it was chilly at night. Another weird way of hospitality! There is no hair dryer, nor tv in the living room, although it is stated in Booking. When I needed the hair dryer, was after 10:30 p.m. Also no cleaning of the room was offered out of 7 days staying. We had to ask for an extra higienic paper as well, since only 1 was provided. These little details seemed careless to us, since in the hospitality field, it makes all the difference. And the owner lives at the property!! A mirror in the room and a garbage bin in the toilet would be welcome, as the toilet, although it is private, is separate. The entire room has only 1 plug, actually 2, but one is UK type, so needs an adapter. I usually do not give bad reviews, but unfortunately we did not feel comfortable in keeping asking for basic things and we decided to carry on with our vacation mood, as there was nothing else we could do.

• Artur (10/5): Great and enjoyable stay - Thalie is a very nice host, she did everything to make our stay pleasant and comfy. The place is very modern and clean. You can feel like you're at home :)
• Florin (10/5): Excelent location and stay overall. - The room was spacious and all facilities were exceptional. The host was very friendly and made us feel comfortable.
• Anna (10/5): AWESOME STAY! - The house is amazing, very new, modern, wide, big, clean, really awesomeee! Thalie is super nice and she was always helping with everything. she wanted to made us feel like home and we really felt like we were at home! This could be the house of my dreams easily :) the localition is also good if you have a car (in mauritius you MUST have a car, so no problem to move around). Everything was super good :)
• Raymond (10/5): Absolute amazing stay 10/10 - The friendly hospitality, I instantly felt at home, The house and room was in peak condition, clean, The house is also quite beautiful and represented perfectly by the photos. All that and it didnt break the bank. I would definately stay there again if the oportunity arise. Nothing, the place is perfect and the host was amazing.
