Platon (5/5): Average, not again, better value elsewhere - View and location Honest Review – Not as Advertised, Poorly Maintained, Unsafe I recently stayed at this property and unfortunately, my experience was far from the “luxurious” impression given in the listing. Here are the main concerns: 🔧 Condition & Cleanliness • Very outdated: Renovations are at least 10 years old. The apartment is tired, smelly, and in desperate need of upkeep. • Damp & musty smell: Rooms had a damp odour that required constant airing. Air conditioning seemed to circulate bacteria, causing concern for health. • Air conditioning units: Dirty, noisy, smelly, and clearly haven’t been cleaned or serviced in some time. • Peeling paint around the bathroom mirror and a loose mixer tap in the upstairs bathroom. • Inconsistent lighting: Mix of warm and cool light bulbs throughout – no clear theme, just messy and jarring. • Faulty lights: Multiple light issues including: • Flickering light on balcony • Two faulty lights inside entrance • No lighting in the upstairs bathroom ceiling 🧱 Layout & Accessibility • Dangerous steps into the small kitchen – not safe or suitable for those with mobility issues. I hit my head walking in/out of the kitchen. • Internal staircase to upper level is narrow and not suitable for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns. • Old complex not disability friendly: No ramps, several steps, and an old lift that doesn’t comply with accessibility standards.
