Guest Reviews
- Meganh88 (10/5): I loved staying here! - Loved not having to meet someone for door keys and how quiet the property is! No negatives on this end
- Sidney (7/5): Good -
- Carlos (9/5): Our stay was amazing besides the road to get to the cabin and the ditch in the entrance to the driveway. - The cabin itself was amazing, it was quite and peaceful. The drive up was full of potholes and the huge dip right when you go up the driveway leading to the cabin. That would be an easy fix put some extra soil down or even some kinda plywood or something. The cabin had been clean but not completely there was still empty toilet paper rolls on the floor and the sinks had to be wiped down and also the counter tops in the bathroom.
- Albert (8/5): Very good - The road was horrible, I had to get my front end realigned which cost me $150..The worst road I have ever been on.. I will not be back.
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good -
- Dianne (5/5): A potentially Beautiful house in a nice natural setting that could be very comfortable indeed with some changes. - Spacious kitchen, living room, master bath and dining room. Good appliances. Good HVAC. The master suite is honestly a mess! No place to hang your clothes except for wall hooks. The master bath has no door!!! The gigantic mirror is poorly lit in spite of the multiple overhead lights. The mattress is worn out, with a big sinkhole in the middle, very uncomfortable!
The kitchen counter work area is poorly lit and there’s no light over the washer and dryer. We couldn’t find a pot with a lid big enough for the pasta and the incomplete cookware assortment was frustrating since we enjoy cooking even if we are on vacation! Also we found the can opener is inoperable.
Unfortunately the living room lacks a warm and welcoming feel and looks more like you’re walking into a furniture store than a real home.
- Miller (9/5): Very nice unit in a rustic setting - Facilities were very clean, and access to the unit was easy. Rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. The house is huge, and we didn't use half of it. We were in town for a wedding so really just needed a place to stay, and this was much cheaper (Memorial Day Weekend) than the hotels in Blue Ridge. Would have been nice to sit back and chill here if we weren't running to wedding events all weekend.
Had an issue with the unit, and the property contact was extremely responsive to help address. We were missing some items like sponges and paper towels to clean up dishes and counters. The unit is pretty far out of town, so it is not easy to run to the store to pick things up. The road up the hill is an adventure, so a high clearance vehicle is advised, but not a requirement. All of the closets were locked, so there was nowhere to hang our suits and dresses other than on hooks on doors or the wall.
- Janeen (9/5): Beautiful and peaceful - The place is beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. Sounds of the birds in the early morning and watching deer graze in the evening. The hot tub constantly running the first night disturbing the peace and waking me up during the night. Turned the temp way down and that stopped the jets from running every twenty minutes. After that, this place was a real gem.
- Robert (10/5): Great time with family secluded relaxing -
- Gillis (10/5): We loved the coziness of this place. Such a great place to spend our honeymoon!! - We loved the coziness of this property. Beautiful on the inside and out. Great location also! Our only complaint about the property is the hardwood floors. Some of the nails are poking out and I cut my foot and ripped my sock on them. One of them is really bad in front of the couch and another to the right of the glass door leading outside. This is an easy fix with a hammer. We understand the floors may be old and shift and shrink and all of the things, but guests do need to be informed:)
- Lawonda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Worsley (10/5): 10/10, Excellent setup, we wish we could’ve stayed for a whole week! - The location of this cabin was secluded, but close enough to restaurants and wineries. The cabin itself was stunning and was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this location for a weekend getaway. The drive up to the cabin can be somewhat thrilling (especially at night), but worth the bumps and sharp corners.
- Tekondia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (9/5): Great time much needed relaxed trip! - Property was beautiful, very private, secluded and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for The only thing was the road leading to the property, it’s all gravel after the very first part and being in a large diesel pickup truck was very difficult to make the very sharp curves in the road and it is really only wide enough for one vehicle at a time except for a couple spots along the way
- Clara (10/5): Exceptional - The cabin was beautiful and set up perfectly. Wasn't too far from town yet secluded. The hot tub was amazing late at night. I will be rebooking soon!!
- Shameka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christy (5/5): Passable -
- Arelys (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful decorated. Magnificent view. Super cozy. Very good location. Amazin chalet. I would definitely stay there again. 100% recommended.
- Anonymous (10/5): We had an amazing time! - Very comfortable and clean!
- Merrie (9/5): Once we made it over the bumpy and pitted road, the house itself was gorgeous and comfortable - The chalet is beautiful. Well appointed decor with a fantastic jacuzzi!! Lovely scenic property, close to the sites of blue ridge and adjoining small towns. Plenty of linens and household items. It would have been helpful to know that the road was not graded and was full of potholes and big bumps...also, it is a little confusing. Without GPS we would have ended up in a ditch or someone’s driveway. Also, it would be helpful to know that there is NOWHERE on the mountain or nearby to obtain supplies, so stop at the store in Ellijay to pick up any food items that you will need for the stay.
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional -
