• Mayumi (5/5): Passable - Good location The room was very cold and there was no heater or blanket. We asked them and they said they will bring it but they never did. the entrance was hard to find and no clear signs. We ended up using the keypad at the wrong door and caused a neighbor to be upset because we didn’t know it wasn’t the correct place. This was very stressful to experience arriving in the evening and the chat to get help took a long time to respond. There was also a strange buzzing noise that came from the room which we had to trouble shoot with the customer service chat by going back and forth switching things on and off which was a huge waste of our time. The communication between the property manager and customer was quite lacking and no follow up to the above issues.

• Eugen (8/5): Good location and good value. - Great location. Clean, check in process was hassle free. Well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Second room was very claustrophobic and lacks ventilation. Sofa bed could be better.

• Vivi (1/5): Unbelievable... - I arrived and called to get the code to the apartment. I wasn't able to get the code without agreeing to check in at 13, and I payed for early check in at 09:00. We were in the rain freezing, calling 100 times, but suddenly no one answered. Didn't get a call until the evening and we already were in an actual hotel. Of course I didn't answer.... They basically stole 1500kr from me and refused to give me any type of communication in messages, and now I have to talk to the Police to fix this without any proof other than my own desperate messaged and those 100 calls...

Did not allow cancellation after - Good location The full cost of the property was not obvious when booking. The quoted price excluded fees and the cleaning fee (double the price of the quoted rate). I didn’t realise this until after booking and contacted the property immediately explaining that had I been made aware of the full price then I wouldn’t have made the reservation. I was told I would not be refunded and that they don’t display the full price on Booking.com to maximise the transparency around their costs. Such an obvious tactic to deceive and lure people in. Very deceptive hosts who were uncompromising and clearly trying to rip customers off. I had no choice but to stay at the property and pay the full amount. When I arrived, the pots and pans were still dirty and needed to be washed before use (I was charged a 500 nok cleaning fee). I raised this with the owners as being unacceptable if they are charging a cleaning fee. They offered a partial refund (a percentage of my stay) for the inconvenience, which I agreed to. However, when this was processed by Booking.com I only received the agreed refund as a percentage of the booking fee, not of the total fee that included fees). After consulting Booking.com on this mistake, I was advised it was the amount I had agreed to (untrue) and that there was nothing further that could be done. Overall, completely dismal service from both the hosts and Booking.com who were apparently happy to let the owner get away with not paying the agreed refund. Not a property I will ever stay at again.

• Raymundo (10/5): Good location place. - I loved the location specially for historic downtown morning and evening walks, and the apartment has all that is necessary for a comfortable stay under great value. I didn't like that there were plastic bags garbage-like at the corner of the place which didn't make the house look good. I'd advise the management to keep the outside of the place as neat as possible. Also I'd recommend to invest in erasing gravity on outside walls as at first the alley doesn't look very safe.
• Sharon (6/5): Pleasant - The location was brilliant. The apartment I would have given 10/10. BUT the bed is not hygienic it is stained in urine and smells badly. Could not sleep on it. Had to sleep on the sofa bed. Not very comfortable. The room was not cleaned well. The doors do not work correctly. The urine stained stinky bed. The door locks don't work correctly. Neighbours were very noisy until after 2 am. Not cleaned well found fruit under the sofa and stained on the walls, someone had thrown food on wall. • Arnaud (5/5): Central location to visit but limited equipment - Central location, doors code sent automatically Amenities are really poor: bed is not for 2 adults contrary to description (< 140cm), dust on kitchen equipment (teapot), not enough cutlery, all kitchen plugs do not work (need to resort to the living room plug to use the coffee machine), light in the bedroom does not work... in general, the initial aspect of the building entrance is deterring (room as a dumping ground, used cigarettes in the entrance, empty box thrown on the ground...)

• Russell (6/5): Not worth it for the price‼️ - flat 2: The apartment is actually nice and modern. What I don’t like was that the bed is wet and smelled urine. When we arrived we immediately take a rest from a 4hr drive before eating dinner outside. I called the in charge and she said they will change the matress and sheets. When we arrived from dining out i checked the bed right away they didn’t change the matress only the sheet. So I called again so they can fix it. The sink in the toilet was also not so clean.

The couch was a little torn & the shower - Comfy bed & good location Hard to find, they didn’t send the code by 3pm like they said so I had to call. Sometimes the exterior door doesn’t work the first time you put the code in. When I figured out the apartment number was above the door there seemed to be to where to put in the code. First you have to touch below the door handle, then touch a fingerprint , then a place to put in the code appears.
• Balaji (2/5): Aweful stinking room it’s not for families . - Nothing , the way to get into the appartment was a nightmare , the alley ( it’s not a narrow street ) / by lane was virtually invisible for any tourist who arrives , for us to get inside the taxi couldn’t spot the place and to open we had to ask the locals and finally got in . Even the locals felt it’s a bad location and access . The appartment is in 2nd floor with winding stairs - to lift the luggage’s All the way up to 3rd floor was a nightmare . When we got in - the refrigerator was stinking ( this was. Really awful ) and so was tha appartment ( we used our Calvin Klein perfumes to scent the place ) , the fuse was tripped and the water from the fridge was all over the living area . The next morning when we used the kitchen electric top , the fuse tripped again and this time we had to reset the main MCB in the ground floor . Laundry area was shabby - no washing powder , when asked the attendant told it’ll come at “god knows whatever time “ we used shampoo to wash .

• Velayutham (3/5): Managed my stay here for 3 days - Value for money and good for 2 people stay as it is bit small. Good place to do own cooking . Had enough vessels. I would not recommend this property for a family stay with young kids. Firstly there is no lift and especially if your room is at 2nd floor and you have heavy luggage’s it is difficult to carry. Entrance is not inviting. Sofa bed is poor. Apartment could have been cleaned better before handover. Kitchen is good but could have included microwave.
• Akhilesh (7/5): Excellent for 2 +1 small child not for 4 adults - Flat #3 . Response of hosts was excellent and they addressed all queries. Facility for luggage drop off was good. Location is excellent with most of the town at walking distance with good dining options close by. Kiwi and Rema 1000 was also close by. The amenities were good- sheets, towels etc Cooking utensils, induction range , washing facilities etc. Coffee tea etc. no complaints there. A couple of pillow covers looked stained but were washed so no hygiene issues there. The bathroom was very clean and good. One small negative on the cooking range was the overload kept activating and had to reset it. The biggest negative however are the sleeping arrangements. The one bedroom is Very small. The mattress was too soft and just about slightly bigger than a Single bed - 6 ftx 3.5 ft. Virtually impossible for 2 adults to sleep on. The sofa cum bed was slightly bigger but not very comfortable. Therefore, will not recommend this property for 4 grown adults . Max 3 adults if push comes to shove but only 2 adults can stay comfortably with one child.

• Maria (3/5): Only suitable for one person max. I’d go elsewhere next time. - Good location and were quick to respond to any questions. They were flexible on late check out as I had a meeting that morning. The bed is far too small, almost a single bed. This was very uncomfortable and we barely slept. The blinds in the living room don’t work and let in a huge amount of light in which is terrible in the summer, especially when someone has to sleep on the couch because the bed is so small! There were also little things such as no bin bags for any of the bins and no hand towels, tea towels or bath mats provided. Two out of the three days the Wi-Fi didn’t work. Also, the noise from upstairs and the hallway is so loud you feel like it’s coming from inside your apartment.

• Federica (5/5): Nice location but not so comfy - Location was very good since it was in a central position close to the main station and the bryggen. Having a full equipped kitchen is also a plus and the tv with netflix was definitely a pleasure The bed was uncomfortable and too fluffy, it is also not a full double bed but more a french one. Prepare to have a close night with your +1. There is no wardrobe to hang clothes and no plug socket next to the bed. Last but not least do not expect to have a really hot shower since water is just warm enough to not complain.

I wouldn’t recommend it for more than one person, despite the description. I know I will be helping someone with this tiny remark: overhead white lighting only, there are no lamps.

• Rebecca (8/5): Fabulous value for money - Amazing value for money, a relatively short walk from the station, great directions, easy access, comfy beds and everything we needed for our late arrival, one night stay in Bergen. A little noisy, people upstairs, and brick wall view but really not much not to not like for the money.
• Bryony (4/5): Not worth it - I read a lot of mixed reviews before booking this studio apartment, but decided to risk it and we were initially pleased on arrival. The apartment is in a great location, just a short walk from everything. It's a good size, with space to hang coats and storage in the entrance, a modern kitchen and a living area with a table and comfortable (albeit not very clean) sofa. Everything else was fairly clean except for a few dirty kitchen utensils. We were provided with towels, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, a TV, dishwasher (this did not work), a filter coffee machine and a range of pots and pans. There was even some washing up liquid and (well used) sponges - bring your own and a tea towel. There are also 2 washing machines and two tumble dryers in the building. The main problem with the apartment - and the reason we rated it so low - is how difficult it is to get in touch with the owners. This is an Airbnb type place, rather than a managed holiday rental, and if you have any problems while you are here you risk having no one who will help. When we arrived, we had not received a message with our access code as we had been told we would be, and I had to email and call a few times to get it. Then, on our very first night, an overly sensitive alarm system was triggered by us cooking. This was a Friday evening and we couldn't get hold of the owners at all, so we had to sleep in the room while an alarm went off all night. By the Saturday afternoon, still with no response to calls, texts and emails, and with the alarm still ringing, we rang Booking.com who had access to an alternative number. An hour later, someone finally came to turn off the alarm - which they did by flicking all the switches on the main fuse box in the building (even they didn't know which ones were for our apartment). They advised us to to do the same if it happens again, which it did - apologies to everyone else staying in the building who had their electricity turned off multiple times during our stay. On top of a sleepless first night and awful first day, we found stains and cigarette burns in the sofa, the dishwasher didn't work, and the bed is uncomfortably small. The shower door/curtain has been removed and this floods the bathroom, making it very slippery. While the apartment itself looks nice, the rest of the building interiors are pretty grim.

• Orla (1/5): Disappointing and would never recommend this flat - The location was good but that’s the only redeeming feature. The flat stank of cigarettes and cigars, there were burn marks on the sofa. The bathroom smelt of urine, some pots and pans were dirty and we found some hairs in the bed. We tried contacting the host to complain and called the number provided but no one answered. This was a terribly disappointing flat and we actually booked somewhere else because it was so bad. It’s much smaller in real life too! When we left we tried closing the door multiple times but it didn’t want to lock. I contacted them about a refund and got a very unhelpful reply, they also denied the fact it was not clean which was very frustrating!

• Naiara (7/5): Good - It's centrally located, closed to the main attractions, shops and transportation. The studio is okay for 2 people but more will be a mess. The hairdryer was a plus. The bed was a bit small for 2, the oven trays were dirty and it was no sponge to wash it ourselves. No salt or pepper to use. Glasses were also not washed properly. The sofá bed looked old and had some cigarretes burns on it and the carpet was also dirty. I work in a hotel and could have cleaned that apartment perfectly in half an hour. They should Keep on eye on the details that make the difference.

• Halyna (9/5): Superb - Hi! It was nice to stay in this apartment, clean and nice with beautiful design in minimalistic style. Real flowers such as monstera make the room more "alive" and cozy, and it's much better then artiticial flowers. It seems to be a brand new apartment, so it needs some extra details. Apartment has almost everything a person needs. There is a small kitchen with dishes, tea, coffee, kettle, a coffee-maker, a fridge and a stove. It would be nice to have a microwave there also. The bedroom has possibility to have totally dark space that's important for 2 travelers to rest at any time. The bed was a little bit too narrow for two person, but comfortable in common with nice fresh linen. There is also an iron and an ironing board! Mirror in the bathroom has extra light that is also important. There is soap and shampoo, but no hairdryer! It is huge minus for travelers who take only small bag for short trips. I arrived at 15:00 and had only two hours before the business meeting, so I had no time to ask the owner about it. It would be nice to have it available in the apartment! It is also not convenient to use the garbadge can🗑️ with toilet paper roll staying on it. It would be nice if paper roll will hange on a wall or on the basin cabinet. There are also some towelhandels, shelves or/and hooks needed for clothes when person uses the shower. The sink could be with a long extension-table for example. Just because it is black I always wanted to dry it out of water with some extra towel/lap, that is also needed in the bathroom. When/after shower is in use the floor is wet and needs extra thick towel/carpet for bathroom, otherwise user can slide and be hurt. There was small confusion with the bathroom's lighting. After taking a shower, I visited it again in about one hour and the light started blinking. So it was impossible to use the mirror there. When I came back in the late evening it worked normally again. I discribed in the text above.
• Ekaterina (4/5): Disappointing - location I couldn’t lay out the sofa, it was broken. Shower has no curtains, water was all around the bathroom, it’s not convenient. No hairdryer, no iron. not a single peg or a shelf in bathroom where you can store your things or even a towel
• Bertram (7/5): Good - Close to the hikes up Floyen and close to the city center in a beautiful area of Bergen. There are also nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby. We booked the room for four people and for that it is a bit tight. The bed is 1,30 m and the additional sleeping couch fills the second room, so that the table cannot easily be used any more, especially if you have luggage. There is no elevator. The pictures of the appartment are correct, but it is smaller than it looks. Also, based on the desciption of the address it was hard to find the entrance - which is in a tiny street off the main street.

• Stuart (10/5): Amazing Location and Newly Renovated - The apartment was newly renovated and we were the first guests to stay in the unit. It was very clean, nicely done and had heated bathroom floors which was lovely. The unit is in a great location for exploring Bergen as it was short walks to transportation and lots of restaurants. Would highly recommend this property and location! Only minor complaints. The bed in the enclosed room was quite small for 2 but it was nice to have a separate space from the living room to sleep in. Because we were the first guests, there were some lamps that had no light bulbs and very minor inconveniences such as the shower fixture being loose from just being installed but we were too busy exploring Bergen and it's surroundings to complain - would highly recommend this property!

• Maria (5/5): It’s a great location which is a major plus however it was not the most comfortable. - The location is outstanding and super super central. This was the biggest plus for us and the number one reason I’d stay here again. We had several downsides to our stay. Upon arrival our apartment was filled with a stinky fish smell. Getting in touch with the host was impossible but we reached the cleaners. They helped us which was great but the smell didn’t go away. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, to the point where we had to sleep on the couch. This is never a nice feeling. A downside to this place was how difficult it was to get in touch with the host, making it difficult to stay there if you need anything. The apartment also had leftover food of the previous guest.
• Colin (6/5): Good location, poor facilities and poor hosts. - The location & cleanliness, bed comfy & double glazing meant nice & quiet even though located in a busy area. Lack of facilities, no real thought put into the property regarding visitor needs and very basic facilities provided. It did not feel comfy or well equipped ie.horrible bright centre lights throughout, only 1 v.low voltage lamp in the bedroom & it had no bulb in it, we had to buy our own! No other lamps, no cushions, window blinds v.cheap & didn’t work. Nowhere in bathroom or bedroom to hang towels or clothes or put toiletries, not enough pillows and small bed, that I think a slightly larger couple might find quite uncomfortable. Communal entrance & stairway unfinished & unwelcoming. Room off entrance identified as ‘luggage store’ but no access code provided or information about if we could use this facility. No instructions for using the cooker & poor selection of cutlery & no teatowel. The hosts were totally unresponsive when we contacted them about possibility of 1 hour early check in query, we never had response by message to booking, or email or telephone, felt as if we were totally left to it with no support. Disappointing.
• Jin (3/5): good location but with not fully functional facility - The location is good close to the harbor area. The room is clean. 1. On our arrival, we noticed that the dishwasher was filled with unwashed dirty dishes. 2. We experienced limited hot water supply; after my wife took a shower, the water turned cold, leaving me unable to take one. However, the hot water did return the next day. It appears that the hot water is only sufficient for one person. 3. The cooker and oven were not functioning properly, and after a phone call, the lady assured us that someone would come to fix it. However, during the attempted repair, it triggered an alarm under the oven, forcing us to shut down the power in order to get some rest.

• Anonymous (4/5): Kitchen was out of order due to an alarm - The location and the price were good. It was modern and clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. There were good curtains to block out the light. It was quiet. The host was responsive. We couldn’t use the fridge and the induction cooking plate because while cooking, an alarm went off and we had to turn off the kitchen electricity group downstairs to turn it off. This was already a hassle because the groups and apartment numbers were labeled incorrectly so it was trial and error. We had to wait for an electrician to come and fix it, but unfortunately he couldn’t come during our stay. The refrigerated food that we bought expired and we had to eat out every day. This was very disappointing as we were hoping to save some money on the food, renting an apartment with a kitchen. Furthermore, we realized we could only use one machine in the washing room, because as soon as we used more than one simultaneously, the power went out. Not sure if the issue was related to the kitchen.

• Anna (10/5): Really cosy place in the middle of Bergen - The flat was really cosy 😊 We received the detailed information how to get to the flat with all the codes etc. In the flat there is enough space for 3 people or even 4, we found there bed linen and towels waiting for us, there was also coffee, chocolate and tea 😊 we could see that this flat was finished not so long time ago, in the bathroom we saw already mounted shower stall. There is no view from the room, there's a building next to the window and because of that it's quite dark in the flat. No hangers in the bathroom and corridor.
• Shiv (6/5): Pleasant - The location of the apartment is really close to the center and everything you need is nearby. we booked the place for 4 people and there were quilts for 4 but one without the cover and the same for the pillows. Internet was not working and this was a disappointment as we booked this majorly because of the internet available.
• Jason (7/5): Very good - Great location, great apartment. Very clean and comfortable Shower door was missing, causing water to go all over the toilet floor. Internet stopped working, which meant that the TV was no use because all smart TV channels couldn't connect to the internet.
• Marina (7/5): Good - Very good location in the center of Bergen, very smooth check-in and check-out, the host gave us detailed tips for check-in but also tips for parking possibilities. The apartment was very modern looking but was missing some basic elements for comfort: no hangers for towels or other places to place your stuff in the bathroom, no closet or hanger in the bedroom, the bedside lamp in the bedroom was not working, there was an iron board but no iron (or at least we could not find any), no hair-dryer.
• Mirandaleelogan (7/5): Delivers as advertised but nothing more - Location was great. Clean and tidy. Bed was very small and my partner found it very uncomfortable.
• Viktoriia (6/5): Pleasant - the apartment in general was very cozy and clean, with necessary cooking equipment and washing machines downstairs the blanket for some reason was very stinky, and the neighborhood is noisy (touristic place)
• James (7/5): Good - Great location and modern design Reception isn’t built yet, still building site. Walls are thin so other guests can be noisy.
• Siu (9/5): Beautiful apartment in a convenient location - The location was fantastic and a very good price for the area. Check-in was easy. The apartment is very clean and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked The shower could use a barrier to prevent water from getting everywhere. Having hooks to hang clothes would be a big improvement. Parking is expensive but that seems to be standard for the area. Unloading luggage was difficult because of the narrow 1 way street. Parking up the street near the church would be my suggestion

• Kureshan (8/5): Great value and great stay - Location was great. Apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. Entry floor has a washer and dryer No hairdryer, and no mirrors except for one in the bathroom.
• Matteo (5/5): Still work to do... - Great location, everything was new, easy check-in There was no shower screen meaning the bathroom became a pool after each shower, there was no blind on the velux window, considering sunrise is at 4am in Bergen in summer, that's far from ideal. There is no wardrobe or anywhere to actually hand your coat, again considering Bergen is the rainiest city in Europe, far from ideal. Lots of bits and pieces from the building work was left on site, inside the drawers, and there was no hairdryer and luckily someone from the renting agency was kind enough to bring one to us at 10pm after multiple messages and calls
