• Krista (9/5): We would recommend Serenity Place! We both agreed the apartment would make a lovely home! - Lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely decor. Very clean and fresh. Well stocked kitchen and coffee bar. Easy independent access with good instructions. Mattress was very comfy. Great communication with owner, who was very flexible! We are used to a king sized bed at home, so found the double (?) bed small but that was my mistake because I didn’t check that. With two bedrooms, we could have slept in the twin beds in the second room, so it is nice to have that option!
• Alison (9/5): Great place to use as base for winter birding, plenty of room and helpful hosts. - Easy to access, private, close to birding locations, host responsive to questions and very helpful, facilities clean, everything provided that you need for a short stay. Although we loved the new chesterfield as opposed to the huge old one, the bench opposite wasn’t very comfortable but was really the only choice to have a conversation with folk on the sofa. A small chair instead maybe?
• Sébastien (8/5): Séjour très agréable - Emplacement parfait, quartier calme Un peu plus d'équipement dans l'appartement améliorerait le confort, il y a peu de vaisselle qui est tout en plastique, une des deux poeles est tres abimée ce qui ne donne pas envie de cuisiner avec.
• Brian (7/5): It was good value and overall served our purpose. No major complaints. - The neighbourhood was quiet, near the lake, not too far for us to attend an event nearby. Access was easy using a code. The apartment was clean. The bathroom was bright and well supplied. There were lots of pillows in the bedroom. Some of the furniture is dated and very dark. The lighting could be improved, the apartment is in the basement and is quite dark. The twin beds were very low and quite uncomfortable.

• Corrie (10/5): Weather was great. - Very comfortable accommodation enjoyed the back yard with a good working bbq and campfire pit with a good wood pile. Comfortable outdoor furniture. Great place and location to park is perfect All was just perfect
• Alison (9/5): Nice, comfortable basement apartment with adequate facilities for a short stay - Ease of access, location handy to good birding spots, friendly hosts, comfortable accommodations, great shower. Altogether a perfectly acceptable and convenient place to stay. Although we already had a parks pass the fact that one was available was a nice touch. A few more conveniences such as a kettle or microwaveable Pyrex jug and slightly larger fridge would be great. Sofa is really too large for space and makes access to kitchen and bathroom difficult.

• Robin (8/5): Clean and Comfy - It was very clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay. We would definitely considering staying here again on another trip to Brighton. These are pretty small things, just feedback for the owner. The plug-in air fresheners were a bit strong. We unplugged them while there. The furniture in the main room is a bit large. While the couch was super comfy, it took up a lot of space. A bit of the flooring catches the feet. Maybe glue it down?

• Ron (9/5): Nice place once we got rid of the dampness and turned up the heat. - There was a problem with the door pad. I had to try it Eight times in order to get the door open. You might want to look into making sure it is functioning properly
• Nancy (2/5): Nothing like i was expecting, we didn't stay. - I can't think of anything Steps to get in. No kitchen. Hard beds. Not by a lake. It's a basement of a house. Dorm refrigerator, microwave, and a toaster oven. No sink, no dishes, just paper ware. The twin beds were very hard. Only a disappointment. We left and stayed some where else.
