Guest Reviews
- Josue (1/5): Didn’t stay, we left - The old barn look is nice. But you need curtains in the bedrooms There are no curtains in any of the windows, even in both bedrooms. It also looks like a customer put up two sets of blinds in one of the bedrooms from Walmart but I’m guessing the owners cut the strings and those couldn’t be pulled down. Red flag. Also back door and balcony door upstairs were unlocked and kinda of pushed open. The owner did not want to work with me on a refund so think twice before booking. Never in all the years have I stayed in a place with no curtains in the bedrooms and rv parked out back and neighbors having a campfire could clearly look inside if they wanted to.
- tina (1/5): - The surroundings were beautiful, and restaurants and stores were only about 20/25 mins away from the house. This house was OLD! it was dusty, dirty and had no television in the downstairs area, that is supposed to be a livingroom. my sister sat down in a cute little rocker and nearly went right through it, because it was dry rotted. The bedrooms are both upstairs, and the steps are steep and not easy on anyone that is not in their 20's or 30's anymore. We wanted to have coffee in the morning, but just about every coffee cup we pulled out had coffee stains in them, and the plates were gritty with dirt. The couch in the tiny living room was so hard, you couldn't sit for more than 5 mins on it, there was only one waste basket in the entire house, downstairs in the kitchen, none in the upstairs bathrooms or bedrooms. The only shower was in the downstairs bathroom, that had absolutely no ventilation, because none of the windows in the house have screens in them, so you could not open a window anywhere in the house, without getting mosquitoes and everything from outside, coming inside. When we opened the refrigerator, there was shriveled up vegies left, cans of beer, old bread and eggs. You could tell the fridge had not even been cleaned out, or even wiped down in some time, and the freezer was just as bad, unopened leftover chicken with freezer burn, a half bag of shrimp, and not one ice cube, or even an ice cube tray to make ice cubes with. The beds were soooo old ours was like sleeping in a sinkhole, and again no ventilation, not even a ceiling fan! The other bed was as old and hard as the downstairs couch, like sleeping on a bed at Fred Flintstones house. The place is just old, and dirty and uncomfortable. He could at least but a small TV in the downstairs area instead of having both TV's up in the bedrooms, so in the evening, if someone wanted to watch a movie together, they could. Bottom line, NEVER AGAIN AT THIS HOUSE. I would rather sleep in my car, at least it's CLEAN.
- Rebecca (10/5): Absolutely amazing. - Beautiful place, very clean, amazing communication with the owner. There was nothing to dislike!

- Sydney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pavel (10/5): Exceptional - It was a pleasure to stay at the historic barn house. Vintage furniture, pictures impressed my kids so much. The swing and fireplace were amazing!
- Jerauld (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Nothing
- Chris (5/5): Decent place but there is only 2 bedrooms - The location was perfect. And the place was pretty clean There was no 3rd bedroom and there weren't 2 twins in the livingroom which was counted as the 3rd "bedroom" so my mom had to sleep on the couch. The heat also blew out cold air the entire time and never got above 64 in the house.
- David (10/5): Unique property and quality furnishings in a quiet setting of beautiful trees. -
- Smith (10/5): Relaxing a needed boost from the hectic work week. - Such a beautiful serene location. Beautiful details gracious host. Quiet lovely perfect for a weekend getaway will come back. Thanks Gunner. Had to leave.
