• Thomas (9/5): A lovely few days in an amazing location - Very nice location with great views and some amazing scenery and walking around the local area. The roof was very big and clean. Check in was easy. Breakfast was very tasty. No problems with the hotel at all - only thing to be aware of is to bring cash as not ATMs near, and if you don't have a car then you need to plan carefully around the local bus timetables
• Szuhua (8/5): Very nice location for sightseeing. Love these villages in Taiwan, would like to stay next time - The wooden room smells really good. The mattress is quite hard and sinking in the middle
• Felber (10/5): Exceptional - very clean and modern might consider a coffee machine for breakfast
• Chokkappa (10/5): Exceptional - This is a brand new hotel with very clean maintenance. Location is amazing. It has a great view You can see the sunrise from the room balcony. Hotel owner is a great person. He can communicate in English very well. He can help you guide on how to visit places around. Overall, it’s all worth the money.
• Wood (8/5): Great Value for Money in a Beautiful Location! - The hotel manager (Bruce) was incredibly friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, e gave us a map and recommendations of places to visit during our stay. He urged us to ask him if we had any requests or questions.
• Rhae (10/5): Place is family owned and owners are so accommodating (and the son’s English is perfect)! - Staff is lovely and caoling is gorgeous! Would highly recommend:)
• Camikka (10/5): The most beautiful place we have stayed in all of Taiwan, stunning! - The wooden cabin room was amazing to be in, and sleep in and wake up in. The views from the window up to the hills on one side were so heart warming and cozy countryside feeling. The views from the balcony were breathtakingly beautiful. You can see the sun rise from here over a sea of rising clouds, absolutely ethereal. The owners were so friendly and helpful with their knowledge, and the town is very quiet and small. The food is delicious around here and the townspeople are very friendly. There are lots of hikes around here and lots to do and see.
• Severin (9/5): Superb - Really nice host, who speaks very good english! He gave us good hints for exploring the surrounding area. He also offers good and cheap authentic breakfast and dinner (only if enough people are checked in, though) You can drink the water from the tap. There was one local restaurant for dinner in the town. The lights in the room were very bright (not really cosy). The mattress was very hard, but that was not a problem for us since we prefer hard mattresses.

• Guillermo (10/5): Exceptional - The location was wonderful and the staff, especially Bruce, were very kind and helpful. We had a problem with our renting car and he was devoted to help with the situation, even communicating with the rental car company which was a problem for us due to the language barrier.
