• Joseph (8/5): Prima hut, zeker met mooi weer. - Het klopt wat je hebt afgesproken. Heel fijn dat je weer naar “boven” wordt gebracht, het dal uit.
• Daniel (10/5): A very calm and ralaxing night! - Everything was perfect, the hosts, the facilities and the view. The place was immaculate and we will definitely be back! Nothing - only wished we had booked more days.

• Jay (7/5): Hut Review - It was clean and the views were amazing. The owners were very helpful. The hut was freezing cold when we got inside took a long time to heat up with the log burner which it did eventually but had to keep logs going continually to keep the heat going. Might be a good idea if the electric heaters were already on beforehand before guests arrive so the accomodation at least feels some heat. The bed was a bit to soft. Could do with more comfy seats.

• Tracey (10/5): Great Location, in a peaceful and tranquil setting - We absolutely loved our 1 night in one of the Shepherds Huts (Rosewood Hut). It is by far the biggest and most comforable Hut we have stayed in before, with a great comfy bed, and the best shower we have used as yet, powerful and lovely with a toasty temperature!! Clay Bank Huts are in a stunning peaceful setting, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Listening to the sheep and birds was like home from home. We hope to find the time to come back and stay for longer!!

• Jenny (10/5): Dispite the dreadful rain and windy nye I was safe warm and happy in the roseberry Shepard’s hut - Felt very spacious , comfortable warm and cosy ! Perfect retreat for a nye escape . Nothing to dislike
• Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - This was a very good detour from the coast to Coast trail. It was like a tiny house. Richard was very welcoming and had a lot of information about the surrounding trails and shortcut back to the coast to coast. An fyi, if you're a coast to coaster, you can order pizza delivery from nearby stokesley and the owners will keep the gate open for the delivery Guy. They also had an honesty box with a couple of snacks. It's not that we didn't like anything, but it would be awesome if they offered a pick up from the car park where the coast to coast crosses the b1257 like a lot of these small accommodations of more than one to two miles off the trail.

• Christiana (10/5): Perfect hut - Amazing hut in a peaceful and beautiful location. Hosts were helpful and friendly. The hut was sparkling clean and had everything one needs. Everything was perfect. Nothing.
• Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - The hut is set in the most beautiful location, surrounded by hillside. The owners are lovely people and great to have a chat with. The hut itself was furnished to a really high standard, with all the amenities you'd need for your stay. The bed was very comfy and the shower powerful. Even though there are other huts on site, they are all quite spread apart, so we definitely felt we had enough privacy. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, with lots of walks around, then this is the place for you!
