• Pauline (9/5): Très bel hôtel mais n’ayez pas peur des bêtes! - L’endroit est magnifique! L’accueil est génial! Et le jardin incroyable avec sa piscine. La présence de souris dans le toit fait que des saletés tombent sur le lit et étagères. Mais le personnel prévenu vient rapidement nettoyer, y compris pour nous aider à retirer les scorpions trouvés dans la chambre … nous aurions préférés être transféré dans une autre mais le personnel n’y pouvait rien.

• Bram (10/5): - Heel fijn hotel op loopafstand van het centrum. Super vriend personeel. De kamer was ruim en schoon. Ontbijt was simpel maar goed. Binnentuin was erg mooi met een lekker zwembad. Zeker een aanrader.
• Michael (9/5): Klare Empfehlung! - Super freundlich, guter Service, gutes Frühstück. Sehr schöner Innenhof. Eine kleine Ruheoase in der Stadt. Was für ein Glücksgriff! Deluxe Doppelzimmer zur Straße. In der Nacht kein Problem allerdings in der Früh recht schnell laut. Ein Safe im Zimmer wäre noch ganz gut.

• Marthanifhla (8/5): - Really spacious room with good air conditioning and a good shower which is rare in Nicaragua. Staff were friendly and approachable. Pool area is a nice touch. Included breakfast was good but they never had the pancakes despite it being on the menu. About a 15 minute walk to the main square which doesn't sound like much but in the Lèon heat this can be a slog. A bit expensive by Nicaragua standards.

• McMahon (10/5): The hotelito is quite nice. Don't be put off by the surrounding neighborhood - The breakfast was excellent. Typical Nicaraguan breakfast, served in a delightful, tropical secluded breakfast area. Staff were friendly and helpful come up and recommended an excellent restaurant very close to the hotel, within 5 minutes walking distance. The room was quite comfortable, Wi-Fi connection strong, queen size bed was comfy, updated bathroom, and the room was nicely and decorated. The only issue that we would note is that one of the chairs in the breakfast area where we were sitting had a piece of wire protruding from the seat. Twice I snagged my pants, producing a small rip. When I brought this issue to the attention of one of the staff, their attitude struck me as a bit nonchalant. Rather than recognizing this as something that needed to be addressed, they seem to sort of dismiss it as a minor inconvenience. It wasn't a minor thing, because in addition to damage to clothing, someone could easily have cut themselves on the sharp piece of wire. And it would be a problem easily resolved, but it would have to be recognized as an issue that needed to be addressed.

• Selina (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Hotel al Sole in León. The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help with a smile, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Our room was very nice, comfortable, and well maintained. One of the highlights of the hotel is the beautiful outdoor garden, full of plants and greenery, with a relaxing hammock where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was also very good, with fresh options and very quick service in the morning. Overall, it’s a charming place to stay and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting León.

Parece ser algo comum no país os hotéis não terem cobertores nos quartos. Contudo, foi a primeira vez que de fato não havia cobertores mesmo pedindo. Nos deram apenas um lençol extra, o que não é suficiente para se cobrir com o ar condicionado ligado. O café da manhã é bom, mas um pouco escasso (apenas uma fatia de pão cortada ao meio).

Convenience over comfort! - It was within walking distance to local restaurants and bars, it was affordable and convenient, the breakfast was fresh and delicious. We only stayed one night because we had a tour in the morning so for that reason it was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well! The bed is very hard but honestly the pillows were so soft and we were so tired that we slept great. Also the pool wasn’t the cleanest. We didn’t use it because of that. Also very noisy with the street right there but once again that didn’t stop us from sleeping well.

• Liam noa (10/5): Espectacular - La piscina es simplemente el plus perfecto en al sole lo disfrute mucho y para el calor que hace en la ciudad es perfecto, mi habitación no incluía desayuno pero puedes pedirlo extra cuesta solo $4 y es muy completo aparte te dan varias opciones , el personal es muy atento y amable siempre disponibles para ayudarte o aclararte cualquier duda. Está un poco fuera del centro pero brindan bicicletas gratis eso es bueno si no quieres caminar
• Andreane (6/5): - On a beaucoup aimé la piscine, ça fait vraiment du bien de pouvoir se rafraîchir en ville (il y fait super chaud) et le petit jardin intérieur, très mignon. La cuisine, car c ’est toujours agréable de pouvoir aller au marché et de cuisiner des petits trucs. Mais une mention spéciale aux dames (staff de jour) incroyable! Vraiment gentilles, aidantes. Mention spéciale à Lucia. Elle est si gentille et organise tout pour vous. Je n’ai pas l’habitude de faire ça, mais je pense que ça peut aider les autres voyageurs. On avait pris la chambre Deluxe en haut avec le balcon privée. Il y a des animaux (chauve souris, oiseaux) qui y vivent. Donc le bruit des ailes, des chauves souris est assez constant surtout quand le soleil se couche. Jusqu’à la c est pas trop grave, c’est le Nicaragua. Je ce que je trouve inacceptable c’est qu’à notre 2 réveil, on s’est réveillé avec des crottes sur nos vêtements posés sur nos valises par terre et dans le lit. Les crottes c’est toxique et ce, même au Nica. On l’a dit à la proprio. Aucune surprise, elle le savait… chose incompréhensible parce que si elle le savait, pourquoi elle continue à louer cette chambre. On avait quand même des crottes dans notre lit! Pour 75$ cad la nuit c’est pas donnée. On a du faire nettoyer nos vêtements (à nos frais of course lol) elle nous a changer de chambre, mais proposer aucun remboursement. On ne s attendait pas à un remboursement total mais au moins un petit quelque chose. Bref, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. De plus, le wi fi ne se rendait pas dans les deux chambres que nous avons fait mais marchait très bien autour de la piscine
• Lukasz (10/5): Good value for money in Leon, Nicaragua. - Great stay in Leon! The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the Leon Cathedral. It is safe as you have to enter through a gate to access the hotel - which can be cumbersome at times. When I was leaving for my tour very early in the morning it was hard to find a staff to open the gate for me, this is my only downside. Overall the courtyard of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious enough. Don't expect views as rooms face out into the courtyard. Overall, it was a fine stay.

Parking across the street was great. We happened to end up with the suite and did not feel it was at all value for money when compared to similarly priced accommodations. The noise from the street was very bad all night. It felt like you were on the street due to the location of the rooms we were in.

Genuinamente una de las menores atenciones en Hotel que hemos recibido. Lo único con lo que tuve problemas fue la cama y almohadas al dormir. Fueron muy duras.

• Jens Uwe (8/5): Sehr gutes Hotel in León - Das Hotel Al Sole hat mir insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war komfortabel und sauber bei der Ankunft, und auch das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut. Der einzige kleine Nachteil ist die Lage, die etwas weiter vom Zentrum entfernt ist. Während meines Aufenthalts wurde das Zimmer nicht gereinigt – möglicherweise hätte man dafür den Schlüssel an der Rezeption abgeben müssen. Abgesehen davon war aber alles top und ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt.
• Beau (8/5): Nice hotel, but too far from the city center - All the staff were very kind. Breakfast was simple, with pancakes, eggs, or typical Nicaraguan food, but everything tasted good. The swimming pool is small, but it’s nice to have one because León is very hot. We stayed in an upstairs room, which was spacious and clean. We also had a terrace, which was lovely for sitting outside in the morning and in the evening. The WiFi isn’t very strong in the upstairs rooms, but it works well around the pool. The hotel is quite far from the city center; we expected it to be a bit closer.

Nous nous avons passé un très bon séjour On entend tout dans les chambres, on avait l'impression de vivre avec notre voisin. Le pommeau de douche était cassé et rendait la douche plus compliquée (l'eau coulait en majorité sur le mur). Nur kaltes Wasser in der Dusche, Baulärm morgens um 5, überall Ameisen im Zimmer, keine funktionierende Klimaanlage, eine durchlaufende Toilettenspülung und Recht zickiges Personal (außer den Frühstücksdamen).

• Michael (10/5): - Wir waren zum dritten Mal dort. Und wir werden immer wieder kommen. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und alles ist sehr sauber und wird mit viel Liebe gepflegt. Sehr familiär und alle sind sehr hilfsbereit. Zwanzig Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Zentrum oder für einen Euro pro Person mit dem Taxi.
