Guest Reviews
- Letitia (5/5): -
- Willy Elisabeth (7/5): Ok - Excess to Cooroyong close. Thank goodness there was a microwave as there wasnothing hot to eat at night in town The heating system needs an upgrade. Too noisy. Remote didnt work so as above 70+ we needed to go on our knees to turn it on and off
- Barbara (1/5): Don’t stay here. - We had no choice but to stay here. The position. The outside area was filthy. The blinds hanging n the veranda outside the rooms, were shredded and filthy. The concrete steps going to the room had never been swept and were dirty and covered in leaves. There were couches and other junk outside the other rooms. It was obviously a workers camp. It should never have been advertised on booking.com.
- charles (8/5): Central location with good set of utensils - I made my own Bar fridge was leaking water over the bathroom floor. I think cold tap needs a new seal also leaking
- WAYNE (8/5): -
- Emma (7/5): - Good location, friendly staff Rooms were very outdated
- Terry (7/5): -
- Arup (8/5): It was a short trip. Accomodation was good. All amenities were as per the ad. - Beautiful Location, good customer service. Wish we could store more food in the fridge, was too small.
- AndrewDeans (9/5): -
- Helen (4/5): Adequate. - The proprietors were helpful when I needed to adjust my booking. The room was adequate and clean. It was close to the venue we needed to be at for a Memorial. Access and parking were good. The motel really needs renovating. The outside particularly is very unkempt, with no visible effort made to keep it clean and tidy. We recognise Tallangatta is a bit off the beaten track and Renos are expensive, but some of the room could do with a serious makeover. They are very tired, especially the bathrooms. A simple and inexpensive detail would be new hairdryers. The current ones are barely useable. The fridge is on the small side but ok for a night.
- Ton (4/5): - The owners were unreachable when we arrived , no one was seen, messages were not returned, and the phone wasn't answered. They hadn't mailed us which room was ours, so I simply grabbed one of the keys from the safe with the code, hoping no one else had booked this room. Luckily, apparently not, but it was still bizarre.
- Monica (6/5): okay short stay - location is good it was a bit confusing on the first time to find the property since the reception was closed and everything was self check-in. One of the towel is torn and has stain and we couldn’t ask new one since it was too late when we found it out. aircon is very noisy. Shower has no place to put the soap (no soap dish) and toilet flush is a bit leaking. It is quite expensive for the facility they offered.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Marieken (8/5): - Great amenities and location. Nice & clean Value for money. It seemed to be a lot of money for what we got
- John Zaitseff (6/5): -

- FIONA (2/5): I didnt stay !! Room was like an oven - The air conditioning was non existant

- Maria (9/5): Overnight stay due to a family get together in town. Our stay was very comfortable and restful. - Close to facilities, quiet position , parking on site , good communication, self check in Nothing to dislike. Would stay again
- Keith (6/5): - Location to town Getting tired. Older facility needing some maintenance c
- South (7/5): -
- Maree (7/5): Clean, comfortable bed, all the facilities required & as stated upon booking. - Clean, bed was comfortable, effortless check-in. Toilet needs upgrading. Toilet when flushed on every flush kept running/stuck on flush. Cistern is yellowed, perished & pipes to floor black & gross. Toilet door also didn’t close. Noisey neighbours upon their early departure disturbed our sleep but not the motels fault, just a negative with rooms lined in a row.
- Jennifer (8/5): - The Gatta Inn is a pleasant but old and basic motel. The manager was helpful and friendly. Excellent place to stay if you are cycling as there is bike storage. Exterior of building is tired.
Two bedside tables would be good, our room had one
- Ross (8/5): -
- Karen (4/5): Disappointing. - Not a great deal. It was clean inside but very daggy outside. The walls seemed to be paper thin. We could hear everything our neighbours were saying at 3am.
- Tania (3/5): Nothing like described - Not much Uncomfortable, hard bed. Stuffy room but air con too loud to utilise. No lock on door. Walls so thin you could hear everything from adjoining rooms. No sheer curtains for privacy. Generally very outdated and disappointing.
- Edweena (4/5): Avoid this - Nothing Everything
- Danica (10/5): Great value. Could have Bed size upgrades - Great value and location Could be modernized & renovated inside & have larger bed size
not Double Bed

- Carolyn (8/5): Good stay for a night if you need a room in Tallangatta - THe room was brightened up with clean and crisp colours The outside is not desirable at all. It is part of an old motel, thankfully the inside was much better.

- Antonia (1/5): bad place - what breakfast everything
- Arandt (8/5): Appropriate - Unknown about wifi as there was no information about the motel on arrival. The room was well presented, clean and tidy. I loved the shower! The shower nozzle is a great design for pressure. Nothing worth mentioning.
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Tarni (8/5): Comfortable - Nice spacious room, very clean, good location. N/A
- Philip (3/5): Poor - Very old and in need of an uplift. Fridge not working. No staff available in person, all remote
- Don (8/5): Comfortable old site updated in odd ways. - Good location and bed. A good bed is the most important thing! Coffee making etc in a cupboard, fridge in bathroom, air conditioner under desk. No shelf in shower.
- Jessica (7/5): Good location clean love that they supply shampoo conditioner etc -
- Paul (3/5): Poor -
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Thompson (5/5): In need of a renovation - Quiet location. Pub in town centre had ok pub meals. Instructions for contact less arrival were accurate. Room had a microwave and toaster. The air conditioning was very noisy but was needed due to hot weather. There was a bench top above the wardrobe that was at head height and very dangerous if moving around the room at night. Place was in need of an update.
- Julia (7/5): Good - Proximity to our event and cost. Get what you pay for, nothing bad just all okay 😊
- Julian (8/5): Very good - Clean, well laid out, close to my destination/friends Mixup about keys initially. Simple really, but took 15 minutes of frustration to sort out: the little things count, at the end of a long journey.
- Stuart (1/5): Bad -
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sue (8/5): Perfect for overnight stay - Comfortable, convenient, walking distance to eateries & town centre. Across the road from the town pool. Helpful staff Room was a little on the small side.
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Carolyn (7/5): Good -
- William (6/5): Ok - Nothing particularly stood out. Basic motel room. Shower dispenser for body wash was empty. Tea and coffee and minimum milk supplied but no biscuits!! First time ever no biscuits!
- Ray (8/5): Very good - Location to the city. No safety chain on the door and the Airconditioner was very noisy.
- Ka (6/5): Pleasant - Very close to the shops Ran out of Wifi connection and there wasn't even that many people in the inn
Air cond was near ground level. It was either a bit too warm or too cold.
- Jose (5/5): Passable -
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- Elvira (2/5): Terrible. Motel is quite neglected. - Location, parking, clean linen Floor cleanliness, curfew on all night loud music . I left one day short of my paid for stay.
- Julia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Brittany (7/5): Good - Toiletries were really quite nice, and the beds were comfortable. Rooms had been recently renovated inside. Note that this is a motel-style accommodation, and that the photos are only of the renovated rooms.
- Lindon (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Oscar (7/5): Good -
- Attila (6/5): Pleasant -
- Amanda (5/5): Passable -
- Philip (8/5): Very good - It was clean and comfortable and short walk into town. Motel units were a bit dated and shower was small.
- Anthony (7/5): Good -
