- Elizabeth (5/5): Not worth £220 for one night - Clean Heating wouldn’t go above 17.5 C even after turning it up. The owner said if it didn’t go up by 7pm her husband would come and take a look. We had gone to our event by then. No outside lights had to use our phones to get to the car. No Christmas decorations were up.
The heating never went up all night or the next morning and for the end of December it’s very poor.

- Wendy (8/5): Lovely property, excellent location if you’re attending any events at Somerford Park - Location was perfect. Accommodation was clean and tidy Would have liked a basic welcome pack (or have been told we needed to bring our own tea bags etc) although, to be fair, there was fresh milk in the fridge.
Dishes had been left in the dishwasher which were mouldy. Again to be fair this was sorted as soon as we reported it.

- Stephanie (8/5): Very nice, quiet house and very comfortable with great views - Lovely outlook, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, incredibly quiet. Nice little outdoor area (but only two chairs, or perhaps we missed the other outdoor chairs) Weren't really sure if we were allowed to use the big lawn. We did! and it was lovely saying hello to the cows but wasn't clear. the track down to the farm would be a bit tricky in bad weather. Lovely to have nespresso but could do with a cafetiere.
- Jo (10/5): A lovely cottage in a quiet, idyllic setting - We were visiting family in the area and wanted somewhere homely to stop in with my elderly mother which meant we could all be together, rather than in separate hotel rooms.
The cottage exceeded our expectations, it was a beautiful place to stay and we would highly recommend it. The property itself was spotless and well maintained. The setting was idyllic and was very quiet; the home itself is accessed off a short country road and via a short farm track, there is private parking and the cottage overlooks a lovely scenic field with a large pond.
Communication with the owner was very good and responsive and overall we loved our stay and would definitely book it again next time we are down there. There was nothing we didn’t like, it was all lovely.
- Hayley (10/5): Beautiful setting, lovely kind hosts, very peaceful area. Country Park nearby. - The hosts' communication was beyond 100% throughout. Wonderful couple and so obliging. they were happy to accommodate our big dog and help us with any questions. Bedding was immaculate as was everything.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Lovely location, comfy and clean cottage with all the home comforts. Our dog loved the outdoor space
Great pub nearby and handy distance to lots of local amenities.
- Alexandra (9/5): A lovely place to stay and would come again! - A lovely, clean place to stay with great facilities! The owner gave good details about where the find it and our stay The only slight negative was not being able to understand/use the heating as it was quite cold downstairs at points and I couldn’t figure out how to change the heating
- Michele (10/5): Just lovely - The Log Store is just lovely. Cleaned and comfortable, in a lovely setting. The host was really helpful and informative. Will definitely return. Thank you.
- Archie (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Lovely - exactly what we were hoping for! - The property was light, clean and comfortable. It also had a lovely peaceful setting, overlooking the pond. There were also some nice, thoughtful additional touches - such as a bottle of prosecco in the fridge and a jar of dog biscuits on the side! Nothing really - it was perfect for our weekend break.
- Tracy (9/5): Peaceful break with lovely facilities and host. - Lovely cottage, ideal for what we wanted in a beautiful spot Nothing.
