• Abdul (6/5): To summarize it’s a 5.5 rating place considering the pros and cons - Can take a walk inside tea garden, scenic, good for outdoor photo Place is slightly inside. Room size is small, bath room size is small , sharing common resources like kitchen, hall is not great since the over all size is small. I think budget wise it is neat place, break fast is clean, simple. Dinner , did not like. Safe place but remote.

• Arvind (5/5): Just ok for a night's stay if you're the adjustable type - 1. Staff was good. 2. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town 3. My room was at road level. So no climbing up or down. 4. Wifi connectivity is excellent. edit: A. I specifically asked the manager the previous day what time breakfast will be ready and he said around 8.45-9. B. if the breakfast you're providing is limited, then please mention it while advertising your property. the current description is misleading. C. I have given the feedback based on my stay. It's up to casa de selas whether they want to take it as a constructive feedback for improvement or not. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Western toilet was literally shaking. 2. Bathroom overall cleanliness was less. 3. Food options are very very limited. 4. Breakfast was not ready until 9. I waited and waited and finally messaged the manager. Got it around 9.30. 5. Got 4 dosas with chutney and podi for complimentary breakfast. Definitely not sufficient. Very disappointed with the breakfast quantity. 6. No cable/ dish TV available. Only youtube. 7. No secure parking. Parking is by the roadside. I was very worried. Again a disappointment. 8. Would have liked to have a table and chair in the room to sit and work. Not there.

• Abhilash (9/5): Peaceful and worth it - The stay is a little far from town but very hospitable. The caretaker Mr. Ram was very helpful and urgent in his job. Very polite and food was also good. The temperature was apt and even the view in the morning. Would definitely recommend The location is far from the town and the way is difficult and needs an expert driver to maneuver. Nothing else to not like.

• prasanth (10/5): Perfect place to relax , neat rooms and friendly host - If you are looking for a peaceful stay close to nature , this cottage is ideal . Beautiful surroundings ,fresh air and a very relaxing vibe. the cottage was neat and comfortable . The host was welcoming and supportive . A great escape from city life.

The surroundings were beautiful and perfect for relaxation . Mr. Ramu - manager was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for a calm getaway. Would definitely visit again.

• ANURAGAM (6/5): Not advisable for aged people. - The cottage is far away from town and located in Hill & forest area where wild animals normally come out in the night. No means of transport to reach and no shops are available.

• Manish (8/5): Beautiful cozy homestay in Selas❤️ - It’s an amazing stay a little far from Coonoor. The location is a bit difficult to find but once you reach, you will witness such a beautiful view of the city. The peace, calm and beauty of this cozy homestay is what adds to it. Ram is very helpful, supportive and carefully listens to our requests for any meals/toiletries etc. Also a big bonus, you get to play with the dog, Bruno :D It is 6-7 kms away from market.. so it might be a concern for some people.

• Garg (6/5): Good as long as I was not in the room. - Host is very nice, the view from the property is very nice. Rooms, at least the one we booked, was way too small. The bed was not at all comfortable. The approach to the stay at night may be tough.

• Jayasurya (10/5): It is a awesome place with e views and calm peaceful environment - The stay is very nice, it has very good view of Selas valey, I took the room which has balcony which has spot on view, the hosts are very nice, they are helpful and understanding your requests. You can order food here at a reasonable price and the taste is amazing and feels like home food. You can feel connect with nature in this place, with good sels valley views having lush green tea plantations, listening to birds chirping while sipping coffee. The mornings and evenings are most enjoyable times. If you want to get away from traffic and crowds, this is the place. Selas Valley is very calm, you can listen peacocks, spot bisons eating grass in the valley. It is a very good place to retreat and enjoy. Must take the room which has balcony and enjoy the Selas valley view. Compared to ooty and coonor which is very busy this is a calm and laid back place where you can enjoy the nature.
• Radhakrishnan (4/5): Very disappointed and please don't go by all positive reviews which is what happened to me. - Care taker Ram and supporting staff (Rajesh ?) were really helpful and they did whatever they could within their capacity. I felt sorry for them. Location is good but with pathetic rooms and without any basic amenities, it's of no value. at least uninterrupted wifi and TV cable connection are bare minimum one expects. Only one room has valley view. The family room is literally a bunker which is absolutely useless and worthless. It has no air circulation. There was no wifi signal throughout my stay and I did communicate this to Ram but he was helpless. There is a TV in the room but no cable connection! Since wifi isn't working TV wasn't functional. So once you are inside room, there is absolutely no entertainment. Moreover, approach to the property is very difficult. Only very experienced drivers with cars with good pickup only will be able to manage.

The view was amazing! The staff was also very polite and helpful. The location is a bit far from bus stop so had to pay extra to the auto.

The rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable, and we felt incredibly well taken care of throughout our stay. The staff were courteous and attentive to every need. It’s a fantastic place for both relaxation and exploration, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region.
• Binesh (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing much The homestay was below par with hot water not running continuously and basic tea/coffee facilities not available. The wifi was not working and the rooms were too small. Access to the property is also very difficult.

• Danish (10/5): Stay with amazing valley views - The location of the property is amazingly beautiful. It’s situated in a private valley complex filled with tea gardens and beautiful scenery. Silence adds to the visual treat with beautiful hues of the day. Special shoutout to the super host Rama who made the stay alike home and took care of all creature comforts you expect at a homestay setup. Nearby or at property food options can be a good addition.

He made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Mattress was a little uncomfortable, felt like the springs were a little worn out.
