Dog bowl and treats were included. Nice bottle of wine upon arrival. Carport for ease of unloading the car. Some instant coffee rather than pods.

• Ben (10/5): Wonderful. Would recommend. - Lovely stay. Me and my partner very much enjoyed our time here. Perfect location, not too far from the shops and main road but far enough away not to deal with the busyness. Tidy, clean home, excellent.

• Leighton (10/5): Very good - The Pavillion was lovely and quiet and tranquil. The facilities were excellent, and the place was spotless. Highly recommend as a place to stay near Torquay. The microwave is a bit high on top of fridge.

• Douglas (4/5): It was fine as a stopover, but the host response to a simple request soured the experience for us. - It was a quiet and peaceful location. On arrival, there was a very strong food/burnt oil smell which, after some airing, did reduce significantly. My wife asked the host if we could have a top sheet for the bed and told her that we were happy to pop over to collect it and that she would put it on the bed herself so as not to be a bother. Host responded "I change the doona cover every time so it should not be an issue. Sleep well". We were surprised by the passive aggressive response, felt uncomfortable and no, without a clean sheet, definitely did not sleep well!!! For us, her tone and the finality of her response soured what was otherwise a pleasant enough stay.

• Robyne (10/5): Exceptional property with an exceptional host. - Location very good away from the hustle and bustle and only a short drive from Torquay town area. Set in 10 acres it is very peaceful surrounded by lovely trees and gardens. Ducks abound in the gardens. High grade facilities with everything you could wish for including washer and dryer. Super clean premises. Exceptional value for two nights. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if returning to the area. Darina very friendly and informative. Loved everything. Not a complaint at all but a cooking utensil which is microwave friendly in the kitchen would be ideal. I brought my own.
