• Sébastien (7/5): Un bon séjour malgré des déconvenues - L'emplacement de l'appartement était vraiment idéal. Peu importe l'endroit où nous voulions nous rendre (Palazzo vecchio, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, etc) il ne nous a jamais fallu plus de 15mn pour nous y rendre. Il était possible de faire des courses dans un magasin (CONAD) proche et pas si onéreux. Les hôtes ont toujours répondu avec réactivité à mes demandes (qu'il s'agisse de problèmes que j'ai pu avoir durant mon séjour, ou pour avoir un taxi le jour de mon départ, les échanges avec Matias et son équipe ont été très positifs) L'appartement, malgré sa situation au cœur de la ville, était calme. Les produits de première nécessité présents (Papier WC, lessive, sucre, huile d'olive, savon, gel douche....) Check-in / Check-out très simple et facile Nous avons joué de malchances car nous avons eu à plusieurs reprises des déconvenues : - Des fourmis que nous avons dû repousser à plusieurs reprises (cuisine, salle de bain, et chambre) - La climatisation qui a mal fonctionnée pendant une nuit, nous obligeant à tous dormir dans une seule chambre - Une coupure d'électricité (que nous avons dû solutionner nous-même) Autant de soucis, qui nous ont quelque peu gâcher les quelques jours que nous avons passé dans cet appartement. Pour le reste, ce sont des "soucis" déjà relevés par les autres clients : pas de nettoyage durant les 5 jours où nous somme restés (et l'impossibilité de pouvoir ne serait-ce que passer le balai, car il n'y en a pas). Les serrures (3 au total) toutes très capricieuses/compliquées. Pas de vraie machine à café... D'une manière générale, l'appartement de par son ancienneté mériterait d'être rafraichit (peintures, joints...) Important à savoir : il n'y a pas de salon, ni de canapé, ce qui est très étonnant et ennuyeux lorsqu'on rentre après une journée de visite et qu'on souhaite "se poser" !
• Meg (8/5): - Good location. Unfortunately there was an error when booking and the booking was for 2 people rather than 3 (even though it’s a 2 bedroom apartment). The people were accommodating and didn’t charge us the full extra amount. Room was fairly basic.

• Paul (8/5): A good, centrally-located apartment close to all the attractions, however the unexpected final stair climb created some - Position, space, value. 1. In none of the marketing information is the set of stairs from the lift to the next level mentioned. They are steep small and you have to navigate a locked iron gate halfway up. Manhandling suitcases up, and later down the stairs was a challenge for us ( we are all in our 70's ). We would probably have not chosen the apartment had we known. 2. Needed and electric kettle. 3. Many of the electric points seem not to work. 4. Although having to take refuse 3 streets away is obviously normal in Florence, the stairs once again come into play as a consideration.
• Carin (9/5): Fabulous location in a quiet area. - Large apartment in a quiet street. Well equipped kitchen (except no microwave). The host met us and showed us how all the locks worked. It's a very secure apartment with an elevator but there were still some stairs to climb. If people are mobility challenged, be cautious if renting this place. Heating was available. Just a comment that despite heating the apartment to a reasonable temperature (20-21C) it took 2 days for clothes to dry. Perhaps very old buildings are very damp. We were given a paper with pictures of what to sort. Difficult to figure out what should be sorted together. Sorry about any mis - sorted items.
• Joann (10/5): A great place to stay! - This was such a great place to stay right in the middle of historic Florence! The gentlemen who manage the property were so helpful and communicated so quickly through WHATSAPP. The bedrooms were huge! And while we were centrally located, it was very quiet in the apartment. It is very close to a parking garage which was a big plus for us! I would highly recommend this property! Nothing. Loved this apartment!

Loved the lift..the foyers and the view of the dome from the bedroom windows. Matias and Paola were terrific. Lots of communication and information provided about places to see and go. Matias booked a taxi for us for when we left and that was a great service. I would definitely stay here again! Didn’t realise when I booked it that this apartment didn’t have a lounge room area. Having to sit in the kitchen wasn’t that comfortable. Also it isn’t clear that the lift only goes to level 2 and then there were a further 23 stairs to the apartment. Apart from that the. Edrooms were huge and the beds really comfortable

• Guimarães (10/5): Superb and inspiring! - I don’t know what’s more exceptional about the stay at Palazzo Borghese: if the location (honestly, it’s within the very core of Firenze and close to everything) or the fact you get to stay at an actual old palace. Palazzo Borghese transports you to a time that is both ancient and modern, that allows you to experience the city in a supreme, almost-homely way. And I promise you — it will break your heart that you have to leave.

Just 5 min walk to cathedral Santa Maria Del Fiore and we actually could see the roof of the dome from our window and hear the bell ringing , Dante's house was in vicinity , 10 min walk to Uffizzi gallery and Ponte Veccio, Bargello national museum was wall to wall with our apartment. The apartment itself is in impressive building with wide corridors and arches. We had apartment with 2 rooms and kitchen with good planning. Place is calm even it is in the middle of active area. Beds were comfortable and clean. Rooms were warm in winter. Everything for cooking at home. Enveroment friendly We like it and if back to Florance we will choose the same apartment to stay
