• Lisa (8/5): Walking distance to town, nice & cosy:) - Location is great, close to the city. The unit was clean, warm and cosy. Great bathrooms, good cooking facilities. The fold out couch may be due an upgrade, not particularly comfortable to sleep on. The beds however were nice and comfy:)

• Farah (8/5): Nice, clean and close to the city centre. - Everything is clean, facilities provided as mentioned in the website The parking is so hard to find, though this is not the fault of the property owner.

• Lee (7/5): Place was clean & not too old. Glad we didn’t have to use the bedroom on the 3rd level - Location & place was good and was fairly new & clean. Told parking wasn’t a problem but it can be. It is actually very busy sometimes hard to find a parking spot. Neighbors can see straight in the windows you felt you were on display. Couch you can feel the frame when sitting on it probably could do with an upgrade & towels are getting a bit old.
• Rina (10/5): Excellent inner city accommodation - Comfortable, cosy, the art and decor were well chosen and it had a great location. Having a bathroom for each room was fab too as I was staying with a friend and we had our own suites pretty much. Great place to stay. Nothing, it was great.

• Jo (1/5): Terrible service, once we asked for a reduction in price as the apartment was inferior to what we booked they offered a - Nothing like the pictures, terrible smell They moved us to a different apartment on the day we checked in, saying plumbing issues but we call a Scam as we booked early and this ended up being a busy weekend in chch so they most likely re booked our apartment at a higher rate! The changes left us in a much smaller place with less beds and bathrooms and had a terrible smell

• Anup (8/5): Great value for money and an exceptionally clean house. - Rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Washer/Dryer was provided. All utensils were provided. Commode seats were heated and had bidets. Location was excellent. Parking was available outside. Host communication was exceptional and responded pretty fast to queries. It would have been good if was provided. Every other motel and house we stayed during our 15 day trip milk was provided. House is vertically built so each bedroom is on different floor, Upstairs rooms were too hot. Needs better temp control.

• DAWATAGE JAYATHU (8/5): - Not a dislike. No parking at site and you have to park your vehicle at the near by road. Sometimes, you have to park your car bit away from the property and walk

• Annabelle (6/5): Nice decor crash pad - Great little crash pad for a couple of nights in Christchurch. A 12 minute walk to the CBD - I was hoping for slightly closer Beds were awful! The 2nd floor bed was more like a double camper bed. Squeaky springs. Waterproof sheet on it - mum said it’s like sleeping in a hospital bed Top floor was HOT so beware before booking in summer. I’m not sure how people live or sleep up there normally! We had both windows open plus a fan all night - still overheated. Didn’t really sleep for 2 days cos of it. It’s October so not even hot days yet. Will need air con installing for summer I think :-)

• Vanessa (9/5): Warm haven for a wintery wet weekend. - We visited on a cold and rainy weekend. It was lovely to come back to a warm and welcoming property. Well located for Riverside walks. I wish I had paid a bit more attention to the provided description of parking availability. Street parking was available a short walk away, but I had mistakenly thought there was a dedicated parking spot, for example off a driveway.
• kylie (9/5): A good stay away - It was warm and cosy and had little extras, which was lovely, example had mashmellows and biscuits on the bench, even as little as having ear buds and cotton pads in the bath room even the bidet just add to the experience,and the shower was amazing 😀 The only thing that let it down was the bed was a bit hard, unfortunately

• Karen (6/5): Pleasant - I didn't like that I had to phone up and remind them to send the pin code for the door. I still had no idea how to get in at 11am on the day of check in. Also I was disappointed that there was no dedicated parking. When I see "Free parking available" on the property description, I understand it to mean that the parking is dedicated to the accommodation. Especially as I had ticked the box on booking.com saying that I needed parking. Street parking is not sufficient. We had a lot of luggage and after parking we didn't dare move the car again or go anywhere in case we lost our space. This curtailed our enjoyment of the evening.

• Chris (9/5): In the heart of Christchurch with easy parking. - The house was great. Very good facilities. The location was good. We could walk everywhere. Bedrooms a good size. Lounge/ kitchen area good too. There was a lack of privacy as it was easy for neighbours to look into the house.

• Bipin (3/5): I wouldn’t recommend this place. - It was a three-story house, but they didn’t mention it. My elderly parents couldn’t use the stairs. Even the sofa bed was very uncomfortable—one person could barely sleep on it, though they claimed it was for two. The biggest issue was parking. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The property had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again! Nothing. Everything was amazing.

• Enrico (9/5): Excellent place to stay in Christchurch for a family that prefer there own space. - The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. Communication with the host was quick and easy. My son was really interested in the small table football game. The listing states "free parking" and I expected a car park that belongs to the accommodation. Instead the free parking means that parking is free on the road. Not a big deal, but I believe it should be mentioned.

• Hilman (9/5): Very nice place - The place was well arranged with amazing kitchen. You can find all the utensils to cook. They have backyards. Location was really nice about 20 min walk to city center. The room was spacious. They have a bed warmer so you wont get cold at night. Parking is on the side of the street. It's a typical 3-story house in city center. The rooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor, so if you have any movement issue it will be tough to get to the 2nd or 3rd floor. We have no issue with stairs and getting to 2nd and 3rd floor.

Hassles to bring luggages up and down.Parking was the main issue as we have to park at the main road and can't simply park as we worried tow issues. Property owner should alert parking instructions.
• Matt (9/5): Superb - The property was within walking distance (15-20 min walk) of Wolfbrook Arena (where we went for a concert) and a pleasant walk through Hagley Park to the CBD. Shops and places to eat are all located either directly opposite the property or a short walk/ drive away. It was confusing at first to find the actual property as it is in a block of homes that all look the same and all have similar house numbers. I certainly tried to enter someone else house before locating the right property!

• Suzanne (1/5): I think I should have been notified before I got there that the apartment was already booked. - Very disappointed in this booking as when we arrived at the apartment it was double booked and there were already other people staying at the apartment. I didn't like the fact that the apartment I booked had been double booked and other people were already at the apartment. I also didn't like the fact that when I used the door code given to me it opened the door while there were other peoples belongs there.

• Jennie (3/5): Don’t stay here. Rude host, terrible beds. - The apartment was clean, easy to access. The couch was from the side of the road, it was dirty and extremely uncomfortable! No padding in seat at all. Son had to sleep in it, got no sleep and woke up with insect bites. Could be bed bugs. Beds were rock hard, cheap beds, pillows were cheap and not comfortable, the mattress topper provided had hair of ALL kinds in it which was just disgusting. The stairs are steep, the attitude given by the host when pointed out to them was appalling, told me I was exaggerating. I’ve been a resort manager for years, I know standards its my job to know!! This was terrible. No refund, they didn’t want to know. Refused to admit there was anything wrong. Unacceptable behaviour, don’t stay there!!

There was also excellent communication with the manager. The couch and beds were uncomfortable to sleep on. Took awhile to nut out working the oven, we have done this before but this time it was tricky.
