- Kelly (8/5): - Spacious and clean, the kids loved the mezzanine
20 minutes walk to Hastings old town..
The owner was great at messaging back as soon as I asked a question.
Very well equipped Kitchen. Noisey main road.
The blinds let in light as the street lights were on all night.
Parking was limited. We were lucky, but it's first come, first serve.
Garden needed mowing.

- G singh (8/5): - Nice clean cottage good location good size for the family. However road outside was very busy plus the sound though the windows at night was quite annoying at times. Apart from that overall good accommodation will be recommended to friends and family. Be aware the steps to the house are quite steep if Ur old or have mobility issues we where a young family so was ok. Thanks Pillows need updating main road outside noisy.
- Williamson (5/5): - Nice location and lovely views Beds was so uncomfortable mattress was so thin
- Helena (8/5): -
- Courtney (7/5): Great stay, value for money, I wouldn’t definitely stay again and recommend - Good decor and loft room was a nice touch
- Vicki (8/5): Very good - The property is lovely. With nice views out the kitchen window and has been tastefully decorated. The beds however are not very comfortable, the mattress are very thin and you can feel the bed slats underneath. The shower is great as well as the facilities in the home. Apa
- Roger (8/5): couples week away - the property was lovely and clean, comfortable with lovely views to the back. parking on the road, is a first come, basis and busy, resulting in having to park some distance at times.
- Diana (8/5): Delivered what we needed to have a weekend with grandchildren. - Nice large kitchen with a view. Reasonably well equipped and plenty of space for eating together. The living room is a bit small. The road outside is very busy and parking difficult.
- Lydia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberley (8/5): Pleasant. - I liked the style of the property. The condition of the front room on our particular visit wasnt as good as the rest of the house. Musty smell on blankets and sofa that made us stick to the other rooms only.
- Maria (8/5): Lovely home - Very clean
Nice decor Main road little noisy from traffic
Thank you
- O'dwyer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (1/5): Bad - There was nothing we liked about the property. It was musty, unclean, stained beds, linen & towels, the road outfront is like a highway. No parking at the back of the premise as alluded. We stayed one night out of three as we could not stay. We stayed one night out of three as we could not stay. The property was musty & unclean & family member suffering from asthma. Mattress'es were thin & very uncomfortable. No parking at the back of the property as per alluded in the description. We stayed after a family funeral & we couldn't leave fast enough. It was very very disappointing & we have asked for a 2 night refund.
- Steven (8/5): Very good - The interior of the property is great and is well laid out. The area is very residential and the parking is not great.
- Fred (8/5): Lovely house - Beautiful house, very comfortable, spacious well equiped kitchen, good shower, chairs outside, taxi in to town around £6.50, lots to see and do and London only an hour and a half away.
Overall we felt very at home here and loved the area. Cooker instructions need rewriting with more detail.
Parking tricky but do-able
Road very busy
Providing recycling containers might ease rubbish problems a bit

- Ross (9/5): Superb -
- Carol (10/5): Great property, good location, highly recommend - Clean, great family friendly lay out, second stay here and will stay again N/A
- Simon (8/5): Very good - Location was good, house was a good size, spacious and comfortable. Some smells and cleanliness issues
- Sam (6/5): Pleasant - Good large kitchen and nicely decorated throughout. The location is on a busy road with on street (not private) parking. There were some issues with cleanliness when we checked in and the fan in the bathroom was not working.
- Giles (10/5): Lovely stay in a clean warm cozy modern house - Modern, clean, cozy property in a great location
- Lenie (9/5): Superb - This house is very nice; super comfortable, cosy and warm with high spec fixtures and fittings and appliances. The shower is lovely; the water hot. It was very clean and comfortable and we very much enjoyed staying in the house especially since the weather was very bad most of the time. It's actually unusual to find a house this nicely kitted out and we very much enjoyed staying as a family. The house is on a very busy road which is not great to navigate and we struggled to find parking that was near. It's not too far into old town to walk but you are on a ridge so the walk back is quite strenuous and not suitable for all people and you're not exactly close to the areas you want to visit - although it's a quick hop on the train to Hastings or St Leonards from Ore Station which is behind the house. The kitchen could do with a big pot (for cooking pasta) and a large frying pan to make the kitchen complete. Otherwise it was excellently equipped.
- Laura (10/5): Our 2nd stay - excellent value - Clean and modern and spacious Nothing, a really nice place to stay - we have recommended to friends.
- Carol (10/5): Fantastic property - Fantastic decor, beds very comfortable, tv mezzanine was brilliant Parking is on street which can be tricky later at night but we managed
- Hollinrake (6/5): Lovely house, shame about the area. - Very nicely decorated house. Good facilities. Good heating Difficulty with steps, front and back. Very noisy road exacerbated by fact that bedrooms very close to v busy road. Garden impossible to use, shame as two lovely days. Unmown grass and overhanging trees was v wet. No mention of this on house details. Very hilly area, unable to go for walks in the evening. I have problems with sore knees and osteo bones. Also workmen next door during day and one came after work to bang the lead flashing in!! This added to by workmen v noisy in morning at new house build below.
- Hayley (6/5): Nice, but cleanleness and low sofa let it down - We liked the shower and garden.
The carpets were welcoming and nicely finished/decorated property. Sadly we didn't have a particularly good experience. The sofa is so low to the floor it was crippling, the kitchen looked lovely but had cobwebs on counter top, no working toaster, no keys for backdoor, an over complicated oven offered as alternative for toaster but had no grill pan.
Owner got cleaner to come to clean very dirty oven probably left by previous guests.
Owner asked us to check fuse on toaster!
Owner did get keys to us to eventually. so we were then able to open door.
Upstairs, beds were clean but not nicely presented.
There was very dirty soap dish and toothbrush holder in the bathroom. Towels provided, but a couple not clean. One badly soiled.
All in all, we liked the house but the cleaning was very poor.
We also struggled with lack of nearby parking.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hélène (8/5): Very good - Great location / great host
- Jacqueline (10/5): Our trip was to visit family so we were near to them. w - Absolutely lovely property with all facilities we needed for four adults and a child. Instructions on how to use cooker/washing machine etc were good. Parking was tight but OK.
- Emily (9/5): Lovely little house. Great location. Easy to get to - Nice size. Clean and modern. Nice garden, lovely upstairs tv room Shower has no door so gets very wet in the bathroom. Extra towels or a mop would be ideal for cleaning up after a shower. Especially with a family
- Esther (8/5): Lovely stay - We enjoyed our stay very much. Chris was always available and helpful.
The house is lovely, we especially loved the roomy and open kitchen, beds were comfy and we were happy about the convenient store just down the road. For the rooms facing the road we would have liked to have been able to darken them more as the blinders weren't enough for us.
Also the steps outside were quite slippery when it was raining. Apart from that everything else was fine!
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Amrita (10/5): Comfortable, could not fault the accommodation in any way. - Airy, roomy , clean, had all amenities we needed.
Good mattresses!! The front steps can get slippery, coat them with a non slip material.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - The views, the cleanliness and the layout of the house was perfect The shower layout means some water falls on the floor but plenty towels provided. The oven was tricky to work out but very clean. Parking was alittle tricky but available in other streets.
- Adam (10/5): What a beautiful home, Cosy and comfy and beautifully decorated - It was superb, so clean and felt very homely. I liked the mezzanine level as well, it was very unique.
The host was also excellent and welcoming and everything went smoothly. I was able to communicate with him promptly if I had any questions.I would definitely want to stay there again. Absolutely nothing I didn't like.
- Niki (10/5): Exceptional - good for money
- Vanessa (10/5): Wonderful home from home, wish we'd had longer! - The house was beautifully finished and had absolutely everything we needed to make proper meals and relax in a homely environment. Our daughter was especially delighted with the TV beanbag den! The beds were really comfy, the rooms spacious and the heating lovely when we felt a little chilly. Good location with an easy walk to the Old Town and parking wasn't a problem.
