- kirsty (7/5): Owners were happy to help with our TV that we couldn’t figure out and location and overall stay was great - Modern, great location Very hard to get into the driveway, not much room.
The unit seemed to be on a slight lean which was abit off putting.
It could do with a can of fly spray
TV difficult to use if your not used to technology
- Ferronato (10/5): -
- Kathryn (10/5): Check in was easy. Property was extremely clean and comfortable. When we had an issue with the Television. Jess went ov - Location and Privacy and quietness was so good. A bit more storage would be good.
- Nicholas (10/5): Excellent place. Thank you - Excellent Nil
- Sarah (2/5): It was a very disappointing stay, not worth what we paid. - It was private, the rocks and deck are a nice touch. It was very cold, heating didn’t work and rain leaked through aircon. No door on bathroom.
Banging outside all night long.
- Donna (7/5): Just acceptable. - Room was nice and clear and fresh. Direction, parking. No broom to sweep house. No lid for frying pan so cooking sets fire alarm off. Rule stating No visitor arriving day of booking., would NOT of booked if known.
- Laelia (9/5): Cute space, pleasant stay - The place was really cute, We liked that it had heating as it was a chilly wknd, and host gave great directions for getting in & they were accessible to reach if anything was needed. It had nice privacy which I also appreciated and loved looking out to the lemon tree. Just a couple really little things; teabags weren't properly stocked, and didn't see refill box in bottom drawer until halfway through trip. Herb tea would've also been a nice touch to have had on hand for evenings. There also wasn't a bin in the kitchen (or maybe couldn't find it?) just one in the bathroom, which seemed a bit odd.
- Julia (9/5): Cozy and comfortable tiny home - would definitely stay here again. - The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. It had all of the amenities necessary to facilitate a lovely short stay. Despite being located between other properties, the home felt very secluded and had a lovely outdoor seating area. Overall, our stay was wonderful. If anything, we were slightly surprised to discover that the toilet / bathroom did not have a door, however, due to the accommodation being a tiny home, this was completely understandable and did not have a negative impact on our stay.
- Allison (8/5): - Very well equipped for our needs Not having a door across the bathroom, a cavity slider could possibly be accommodated.
- Jessica (8/5): -
- Tiarni (10/5): A beautiful, quaint, and cosy accommodation option for those who don’t require a lot of room. This is my second stay her - Quiet, private and cosy Nothing
- Jeff (5/5): Sadly quite disappointed. - Location fine in a very quiet spot. No noisy neighbours to worry about and no traffic noise either. Good range of appliances. Very narrow car access - fortunately we had a small car but still needed some back and forwards manouvres . No operating instructions for anything, Air con or TV. Simply wanted to watch local news but no easy free-to-air TV. No door to bathroom for privacy and no air freshener. Wet deck in morning was slippery and dangerous. Air conditioner/heater quite noisy - too loud to leave on overnight but needed as room became cold.
- Monika (9/5): My wife and I realised we're not ready to 'downsize' as we were in each others way the whole time. - the location was super quiet, but easily accessible. I was close to where we needed to go, but without the whoooshing of traffic all night. The cabin was so cute! I am not sure why, but the 'heater/ air con' kept on turning itself on in the middle of the night... There really isn't any room to store the 7 pillows used for decoration from the bed... we didn't quite know where to put the pillows to sleep, so they ended up piled on the only 'comfy chair' - which we were then unable to use to sit on. Also, there wasn't any room for a bag/case or any hooks for hanging clothes... {perhaps put the bed on short 'stilts' to enable guests to store their luggage under the bed.}
- Kate (10/5): - Perfect little abode. Great location. Great kitchen. Comfy bed Would be nice to have an electric blanket for winter and the door key is a bit sticky ti get in, needed some elbow grease
- Yi-Ting (8/5): Very good overall, the heating system really need an upgrade. - Good location, quiet, very clean, it has everything you need. The host was very helpful when we didn’t have enough towel and she quickly dropped off a towel for us in a very short time. The heater inside the property is not useful at all, we turned on at 28 degrees but felt like only blow cold air and the room never seemed to warm up.

- Pegah (10/5): Super cute and cozy recommend for a short stay in ballarat. :) - Modern, clean and homey. we appreciate the effort put into the details.
- Pendergast (8/5): A cosy, comfortable tiny home. Great location and suitable for short stays. - The tiny house was very comfortable and warm. It wasn’t set up for lengthy stays, no dedicated place to place or hang clothes. A privacy curtain for the bathroom would have been nice.
- Mitchell (10/5): Exceptional - Hidden gem of a property. Clean, great facilities and excellent value for money.
- Tia (10/5): modern yet cute, cozy & quiet! Loved it - Tiny home that felt quite the opposite - it was spacious yet cozy & super clean! Modern property that had pops of colour & the most comfortable bed ever! Really loved staying here, we didn't want to leave! We made use of the complimentary tea & coffee & enjoyed reading through the recipe book that was on display. When we come back to ballarat, we will definitely be booking here again! The only issue would perhaps be the parking at the property, I drive a sedan which did fit into the spot, but it was after doing a 10 point turn to get it in properly lol.
We decided to just park down at the end of the lane as there was plenty of free parking there with no issues :) If you had a small car like a suzuki swift or small hatchback I think the parking here would be fine.
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noel (6/5): Pleasant - N/A The Tiny Home was NOT level!! The head of the bed is downhill.
The noise of the heater/ air con.
- Tiarni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Livinia (10/5): Simply stunning! - A small slice of heaven!
The property was beautifully designed and well thought out. Simple but beautiful. Very comfortable and accommodating. Location was within arms reach to activities, restaurants and dining. Perfect in every way! Could not fault it at all!
- Melinda (9/5): Fabulous little house - Such a cute tiny house. Best bed we had on our whole trip. Nothing - it was well catered for.
- Ketan (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (7/5): Property comfortable and well presented but wouldn’t return due to the toilet issue. - No door on the bathroom/toilet. With a tiny home it’s not hygienic with the kitchen so close.
Access to car parking, entrance too narrow.
Had to park 100 m away on the street
- Natalia (8/5): Very good, very nice and very clean - We had a big vehicle and the entrance was very very small. One ofvour wheels came off the entramce as we left.
- Zoe (7/5): Good -
- Jean (9/5): Terrific tiny house with beautiful deck and magpie serenades - Quiet location, very private Instructions for use of the tv
- Tony (9/5): Perfect Stay in Ballarat - Overall the accommodation was great, location was easy to get around Ballarat and unit was clean. Everything in unit for cooking etc. Would use again The only negative comment would maybe consider a Shade over the balcony to reduce the afternoon sunlight coming in through the windows. It did get very hot inside in afternoons. In winter it I guess would be nice. Please Note the unit does have a Air Conditioner which was used.
- Lynette (8/5): What I expected - A broom
Hanging space
- Elizabeth (9/5): Unique and compact with a cool fresh vibe. - Clean, comfortable and clever use of space. Stylishly furnished with good facilities. Quiet location. Perfect for our few days away.
- Allen (10/5): One of the best places that we have ever stayed and experienced for a short getaway. - A hidden gem, easy access to property, extremely clean and cozy and would highly recommend anyone staying here if they are visiting Ballarat. Everything was perfect.
- Putland (10/5): Exceptional - Driveway entrance needs widening
- Oscar (9/5): Superb -
- Jeanette (6/5): Inner city, quiet location suitable for a very short stay - Inner city location, quiet, good kitchen Could not park on property because of narrow bridge over entry to parking area. Parking area all stone so is uneven and had to carry luggage across. It is like staying in a caravan. Floor shakes when you walk. Glass doors on living area face west so it is super hot in the afternoons. Air conditioning takes time to cool it down. Deck unusable as no shade cover. No free to air TV. Have to know how to use fetch and internet connection is poor. It is obvious that property is not managed by owner because of a lack of attention to detail… not enough coffee, soap running out, dirty curtains which drag on floor, dirty window frames
- David (8/5): A great place to Rest, Recover or have some Thinking time. - We enjoyed the privacy, the quiet and the location adjacent to Central Ballarat The Unit's movement and no bathroom door or what could be a curtain.
- Vishmi (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (9/5): Excellent stay, very comfy, clean, nice quiet location. - Almost perfect, over all. The accommodation is wheelchair friendly and was easy for my wife to move about. The facilities are great. Bed is very comfy. We give it a 9.5 / 10. Wife is in a wheelchair. Not easy getting the chair across the gravel carpark. This was the only drawback.
- Sarah (8/5): Beautiful cute little stay - Convenient location . Beautiful little place , relaxing and quiet . Was missing bin bags , ask to wash dishes but no dishwashing sponge so brought some . And camera could probably go on front of gate or front of property felt a little intrusive . Little hard to find
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (10/5): Hidden gem in a big town - Absolutely spotless ! in a very quiet location , very well-maintained and eye appealing when you arrive over all just like a tiny home away from home .
Your host is very welcoming and helpful.
We would definitely recommend this stay for all couples wanting something different from the normal boring hotel .
Thank you very much for advertising this little beauty in the heart of Ballarat. Not that I didn’t like it , but was a little hard to find as there was no sign stating the laneway on the side we needed to use but the hosts notes and guidance made pure sense after we asked a friendly local who knew where we needed to be .
- Tim (4/5): Disappointing -
- Chantelle (9/5): Superb -
- Chardea (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful accommodation! I would come to Ballarat again just to stay here again! So lovely and cosy, absolutely loved our stay!
- Devan (9/5): Superb - Nice and clean. There was a light outside that flashes that whole night
- Kayla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynde (8/5): Perfect for a couple of days stay - Very clean and cosy An extra blanket for bed on cold nights would be good (rather than need the heater in overnight)
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - The comfort,, cleanliness and all the nice little touches The drive way
- Ashley (9/5): Lovely overnight stay - Clean, modern and well designed. Centrally located and easy to find. Kitchen and bathroom especially nice. Offsite parking for one small car. Lovely lemon tree in the garden. All in all - would recommend. - Provided tea bags and instant coffee but no milk so was unable to use. Most airbnbs and hotels provide at least a $1 mini tetrapak of long life milk to get you going. I recommend adding this in future.
- Heater/AC is quite loud.
- No door on the bathroom makes it a little awkward when using the toilet but no big deal.
- Claudia (9/5): Stay was wonderful - The facility was clean I didn't like the fact that there was no iron to iron my clothes. It inconvenienced my stay. Atleast having an iron would have been good if not the board.
- Lowell (5/5): Passable - Cute place, great facilities and modern appliances. Very clean The biggest issue with this stay was the aircon, I was freezing constantly and the aircon barely made a difference. It was loud as hell and seemed to blow cold air at me, warm up for a bit and repeat. Instructions on how to find the place could have been clearer. Long life milk in the fridge would be useful.
- Michelle (9/5): A very enjoyable stay 😀 -
- Lachlan (9/5): Superb - Very nice location and close to everything. House was very clean welcoming. The only minor thing was no free to air TV
- Keith (5/5): Ok - Everything was great Except for the AC. It’s so noisy. Ditch it.
- John (9/5): Cosy, light accomodation. - For a couple two chairs or small sofa are required.
Hooks for hanging clothes in the bedroom would be useful.
Free to air television would have been a bonus.
- Britney (10/5): Amazing - I love the whole place The drive way and entering the property
- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful design and I loved the kettle. Easy to access and very private and safe environment! - Gorgeous interior, definitely made for couples Curtains on the door were hard to use and hard to warm up the place
- Erin (8/5): Very good -
- Madison (9/5): A delightful stay, super close to town and has everything we needed. - Loved the homely feel of the property, and the absolutely gorgeous decor and smart designing of the small house. The drive way was absolutely tiny and even with a small car it was a struggle to get in and out of.
No door on the bathroom making it a little awkward for showering
Only one tea towel, and no cloth for washing the dishes or wiping down the bench.
- Jo (9/5): Excellent- a very enjoyable stay - Good location - very comfortable A little hard to find - directions could have been better
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good -
- Dale (9/5): Amazing experience would use again - It was quite a nice tiny home. The bed was really comfy. Good facilities and well set out. The shower was really slippery. Only negative I can think of.
- Bernadette (8/5): Very good - Convenient location for my purpose. Comfortable bed and quiet location
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): Excellent fun stay. Cute & cosy. Would stay again. - Clean & fresh. Looked exactly as advertised. Cute and small but space used well. The driveway is pretty bad. Probably need the cover over the gutter to take up the whole space of the gutter to save potentially falling into gutter. Also we couldn’t get normal tv to work. Should maybe have been easier to figure out or have instructions. None of these affected our stay and we would stay again!
- Christie (10/5): Cutest little tiny comfy home away from home! - Such a cute little tiny home! Very comfy and accommodating. Perfect for a quick stay for 2 people
- Justin (10/5): Had work in Ballarat and wanted a quiet residence. Was great - Very peaceful place
- Melanie (9/5): A very comfortable and well designed tiny home. -
- Bobby (9/5): Superb -
- Penny (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (9/5): A most cosy, comfortable stay - The accommodation appeared to be quit new. It was a very stylish yet thoughtfully compact and cosy. The bed was so comfortable and easy to sleep well. The kitchen was well appointed with a good size refrigerator and the bathroom was a pleasure to use; I liked the vanity in particular. Easy, convenient access. Overall it was a top quality fit out. What was missing was somewhere to hang clothing. Some hooks in the bedroom area would be good. Also printed information on how to connect to the Wi-Fi could be made available. Access to on-site parking is rather tricky off the laneway but street parking was easy and less than 50m away.
- Latif (9/5): Superb -
