• Marten (8/5): Mooi appartement dichtbij het centrum - Het was een mooi appartement dichtbij het centrum. Ook dichtbij de lightrail. Alles was goed aanwezig. We konden een rolstoel lenen van de gemeente Bergen (gratis!). De eigenaar van het appartement heeft ons daarbij geholpen. Bedankt voor de goede service. De check-in ging niet helemaal vlekkeloos
• Johanna (9/5): Great. - Amazing location for the price. Also very comfortable, small apartment. Perfect for our needs. For us it was fine. If you are sound-sensitive it can be a bit noisy, but one is in city center and it is an older building so that is to be expected.

• david (6/5): overall a great 3 night stay just dont expect luxury its basic . - the location was in the center of bergen within easy walking distance to everything the place has to offer. lack of kitchen facilities no microwave and large city recycling bins next door to property.

• Glück-Teigland (7/5): Clean, quiet but noisy - Super clean and good location Noisy from upstairs. Old wooden house and very scarse isolation between the floors

• Jackie (6/5): Good for a short stay. - Convenient location for a one night stay. Comfy beds. Good shower. Some washing up equipment would be useful. There is a dish washer but nothing for hand washing. Also this isn’t a well equipped kitchen. We cooked some frozen pizza here, but would have struggled to cook anything more complex due to limited pots and pans, cutlery and crockery.

• Monique (6/5): Es hat seine.Dienst getan. - Die Wohnung liegt top zentral. Das wertete das ganz massiv auf! Bevor wir einchecken wollten, mussten wir 3000 Kronen als Depot bei allgälligen Schadensfällen hinterlegen. Dies hätte bei der Buchung kommuniziert werden sollen! Die Wohnung selber war sauber, jedoch lag vor dem Haus Müll herum. Das wohl vergessene Babybett mit Matratze auf dem Balkon, ging wohl vergessen und ist nun vom Regen durchtränkt. Cozy Hideaway war funktionsfähig, jedoch sind wir in unserer 4 wöchigen Reise durch Norwegen preisleistungstechnisch an besseren Orten gewesen.

• anton (5/5): Passable I guess but wouldn't book it again - Location very good. Quiet and private. No parking. Had to wait for key code. Several minutes on the phone. Clean but no shampoo, conditioner or soap supplied.
• Draper (4/5): Disappointing - The location was very good. Accomadation was as expected. The appartement had not be cleaned when we arrived after a long journey at 7pm. We could check in until 10.30pm and had to eat out for an unplanned and unbudgeted meal.
• Dusza (9/5): Superb - It's a great, comfortable place in a great location, we stayed only 1 night but would be a good base for longer stay as well. Check in process was a bit cumbersome and confusing, the verification process was new to us & the link provided didn't work until we got in front of the door, we had to take copies of ID & type in credit card info in the middle of the street, not ideal in any scenario but especially when traveling. Also the living room sofa isn't really comfortable to sleep on. Outside of that initial hiccup everything went well.
• Josie (8/5): Excellent location, good value, clean and comfortable. A few improvements suggested. - The location was excellent for the station and Bergen's wonderful historic centre. The property was clean and comfortable. The size of the apartment was good value for money. The photos are generally accurate and the hosts respond quickly. There is a choice between a substantial damage deposit or a non-refundable waiver fee if you don't want to wait to get your money back - I had never encountered this on Booking.com before. I was charged for my early check-in request, then told it wasn't possible, though in the end this was resolved: we were allowed to leave our baggage and the charge refunded. Although the property was generally very clean, there was some crockery left in the sink on arrival. There was some noise at night, from outside and upstairs. The balcony photo is a bit misleading - it's basically a porch, and looks over a road and some communal recycling bins. There are hooks but no wardrobes or coat-hangers in the bedroom. The bedroom blinds have large gaps at the side, which let in a lot of light during Bergen's short summer nights - I gave feedback on this, recommending proper blackout and received a scrupulously polite but non-committal reply to say that they would 'take my suggestions into consideration'. I received an email afterwards saying 'We would really appreciate if you could leave us a 10 point review on Booking.com, as we are working to achieve superhost status. Of course you will get a perfect review in return.' Thank you, but I think honest feedback is more useful to future guests, and I hope that your superhost status will be earned by making improvements rather than reciprocating compliments! It would also be friendlier to have a name - the host remained anonymous throughout. However, I don't want to end on a negative note, as it was a handy base for a wonderful few days in Bergen during the music festival.
• Somik (5/5): Fair , cozy but ought to be maintained better - Location is super , washing machine Owner was kind to offer help with power cut No microwave , not well maintained, power cut fixing took long.
• Brian (7/5): Great location for the price but needs major improvements. - Super location! After confirming and paying through booking.com you get sent to a third party platform to give additional IDs and information (non-negotiable if you wanted the check in instructions). I paid an extra ~$45CAD on the platform for early check in and when we showed up the place hadn’t been cleaned yet. My request probably got lost in the chain of command, but they still took the money and I wasn’t able to take a nap or shower in the place because it was really gross and all the sheets and towels were used and on the floor in a pile. Quite unimpressive.
