Faruk (5/5): Great location, large sub par flat not worth the price - It is perfect location for Vatican city exploring and going around Piazza del Risorgimento. Neighbourhood itself is rather quiet. It has well appointed and modern toilets and bathrooms. Kitchen works. Space is huge and workable. The biggest complaint is of course, the noise. There was something going on every night between 11PM and 00.30 AM like cleaning of the restaurant or something. But in those old buildings who can tell. The manager we had contact with certainly couldn't. She even suggested that I find out who is doing the noise and scold them. There is no lift but we knew that beforehand. What we didn't know is, although I had deliberately been searching for late check in and on the page on booking.com there was check in note: after 14.00 hours. But it turned out to be till 20.00 and later on it needed to be paid up to 50 Euros. Italy is full of these little tourist's traps in which managing firm is not aware how their booking.com page looks like. But guess nothing can spoil Rome, although unreliable and sub par accommodations with hefty price tag are certainly trying to.
