• Rex (1/5): Bad - The owner was nice at the beginning to apologize and make amends on her mistake, but went Karen and changed attitude 180 degree later on with baseless accusation. Cleanliness: The owner didn't even know that I had the reservation for the night, and did not clean the apartment at all. My family spent the first hour after arrival to clean up the beds so we can sleep and not to take showers because it was still dirty. What more can I say about that? Location: I picked this property due to its close proximity to the airport because I had early morning flight to catch. Never visited Catania before so I was not familiar with the area. I can say that I would not feel safe walking on the street after dark. It is really run down and far away from any restaurants with decent review. I would not recommend staying in this area. Noise: scooters and crazy cars keep driving by even after midnight. The apartment is on the ground floor and one steel door away from the street. It is not insulated so you will hear everything. **** Property owner: might be a nice lady but extremely illogical and unpleasant to talk to when she is in a bad mood. See screenshots. ****
