• Kim Anh (10/5): - Self contained unit with bathroom through the main bedroom. Clean and well maintained. Not much storage in bathroom as broken hooks on wall, but had heated towel rack over toilet

• Craig (5/5): Stay elsewhere if you can - Functional and relatively comfortable Overpriced for a standard accommodation not in downtown. Staff sent multiple emails in quick succession with similar but differing instructions and insisted on in person payment “to prevent fraud” (despite no other accommodation on the trip asking for this). Overall rather disappointing.
• Tamara (8/5): Nice location and easy access - The bed was so comfortable. Nice layout and large bench/countertop. Paying by credit card had to pay a 3% fee to cover the use of the cc. And had to go to the office to make the payment. The staff was not there and had to call but it went to voicemail. The couch is short and low to the ground.

• Jami (10/5): Cosy stay - We were snowed in. Roads all closed. The place was very warm and cosy. Close to everything we needed.

• JOANNA (8/5): Really nice place! Recommend! - The rooms were lovely. Great kitchen, lovely lounge area. Shower room was nice, but it did get a bit wet as its a wet room after your shower. The bed was comfortable. Honestly I would have loved to stay there longer. It's not I didn't like it, it's more of an FYI. Even though I booked on Booking.com, it didn't take my money. You have to send over money during your Check In (which you do before you arrive) and that's when its paid for. Not a problem, but there was a worry that I was paying twice, but I didn't.

• Cameron (10/5): Clean warm and cosy - The property was really good. Nice and clean and warm! Plenty of room and beds and pillows were comfy. We were luckily upgraded from a single room to double free of charge. Staff where excellent to deal with Nil

Location near town was nice and the host was friendly and easy to deal with Kitchen could've had afew more items to cook with. Shower drain was alittle loose underfoot.

• Karen (9/5): We enjoyed our stay, it was very comfortable and warm. - Very tidy, warm little place tucked in behind the school and community centre. Easy check in process, host sent through eatery recommendations on arrival. Bed very comfortable, lovely large bathroom. Off street parking available. We didn't mind but the kitchen doesn't have an oven. There is a full hob though.

• Peter (9/5): Superb - Great place to stay close to town clean and tidy. The only down side it was small no where to store your luggage only in lounge.Bathroom would do with a shelves or smthing to place your shampoo etc instead of the floor.. Great for a night or two.😊
• Lauren (5/5): Fine for a night but overall an uncomfortable stay - Host was responsive. Dyson hairdryer was great. Very close to the lake. Lockbox was hard to open despite having the right code. Very close to surrounding homes no privacy curtain could not let in natural light due to feeling like we were on show. Shower was impractical and made the bathroom very slippery. No room for suitcases and no vanity in the bathroom to store belongings. Small premises ok for one night but nothing amazing seemed slightly overpriced for value. Wouldn't call this the mood for love, not a romantic accommodation.

• Lockwood (6/5): Pleasant - Kitchen facilities and washer/dryer Bathroom tiles were slippery as area got very wet. Towels were dirty when cleaning up the wet floor. 3rd bed was very uncomfortable fold-out with very poor mattress. For the amount of money spent it was embarrassing.
• Helen (4/5): The accommodation was very disappointing. - The king size bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The photo of the living area exaggerated terribly for the actual size it was. Linen was too small for the king size bed and felt like cardboard. Corners in the bedroom were very dusty. Vanity in bathroom was tiny and the tap was far too big for the vanity. Cheap plastic hooks on the bathroom walls and all but one was broken. Shelf unit in bathroom was tiny, no room to put two toilet bags. Only two towels supplied, no hand towels or face cloths even though we were staying for three nights. Utensils, dinnerware, glasses and frypans all looked like they had been bought at Kmart or the warehouse, also none of it matched. Tea towels were terrible, wouldn’t dry anything and left lint on the dishes. Had to ask for more and they didn’t arrive until the evening before we left. The coffee table and TV stand looked like they were something from a secondhand shop or picked up on the side of the road. Dented and scratched. Photos are included to support the above. I would expect a lot better when paying $360 per night. Very disappointed. No where to sit outside also.
• Elspeth (8/5): Small but comfy unit - Clean and comfortable, within walking distance of Lake Tekapo despite being uphill. Had everything required inside the unit for the stay and especially liked the hairdryer! Felt it could do with table and chairs outside.
• James (5/5): Fine and functional. - Good location and comfortable bed. The property was functional, laid out with the bare minimum e.g. three plates, forks, etc. which is fine but functional and lacked the more homely touches. Parking was awkward meaning we often had to park on the road instead of the driveway. And lacked facilities as mentioned in the description such as a dishwasher. As well as certain items such as lamp shades were faulty. The property was fine overall but not exceptional.

• Christine (5/5): Ok for one night but too expensive for what it is. - The place was clean enough. The bathroom has a good shower for someone in a wheelchair I think the unit would make sense for that. Would be great if people thought more about the amenities. We would have liked a strainer, a grater, three of everything. It would have been nice to have a caffeine free tea option. We did book for three people. The fact that this was very small is probably our problem but there were no three cups, no three chairs no facecloth, only two towels so someone did not think much about the fact that this place is rented out to three people. People praise the location but I just want to say, that all the view you have is on more rental properties. The description says there is a dishwasher, but there is not. We found the price very much blown out for what we got... The washing powder was empty and there was no reading lamp (there was one in the photo).
• Rebecca (8/5): Convenient and modern - Clean and modern. Only small niggles. Not enough milk and coffee supplies, and the hair dryer plug needs an adapter. A spare blanket would be good also.
• Honglai (4/5): Really disappointing experience - The property had signs in multiple languages asking guests not to open windows and doors to prevent mosquitoes. Installing fly screens would be helpful; otherwise, guests must keep the air conditioner on for airflow. Upon our arrival, there were no towels or an extra bed for our child, despite my request. While I understand accidents can happen, a backup plan is essential for a property with such a high rating. I was disappointed by the slow response to our concerns, and the extra bed provided was a foldable bed, which was uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was really disappointing.

• Anna (8/5): Had a very pleasant stay in the unit, very comfortable and warm. - It is very handy to the shops, walking distance to the lake, very clean, warm enough. The items in the unit were just enough for our needs. There was plenty of warm water which I was really happy about. The entrance to the driveway for the allotted parking space for unit one is a bit challenging, I suppose that is why that last plant by the front has perished, but it was already dead or dying when we were there. It also does not help when the other tenant’s car is parked in a slanting manner.

• Rachael (8/5): Very good - New, clean property and convenient location, good wifi. This is not a private place - no net curtains and people can see from the street in to nearly every part of the accommodation when curtains are open. Felt like being on a stage! There is a lack of surfaces to put things on - eg there is nowhere to put things down in the bathroom so doing make-up was challenging, nowhere to put my own shampoo/soap in the shower except the floor, no hooks or place to hand wet jackets at the door. Very basic. Although good shower, the entire bathroom was wet and even out in to the bedroom because of the obviously too small shower curtain.

• Jonathan (5/5): Overpriced and overcharged for a substandard stay - Cooking smells strong throughout the accommodation from the previous guests. Curtains, bedding and my clothes the next day smelt. Found long black hairs under the sheet, as I went to hop in bed. Vent grill in bathroom is thick with dust, skin cells and what not.

• Y (5/5): Passable - Working heater and friendly staff, outdoor parking space provided The front door would not lock properly and the hair dryer was very loose in the power socket which made it unusable. There was no shower stall so the water just went everywhere as the shower curtain was not long enough. We were given old bath towels with frayed edges and no face towels were provided. Overall it didn't feel like it was worth the price we paid.

• Yik (5/5): really small room, ideal for not more than 2. - The displayed photos is overrated. The room size is ideal for 2. We booked for 3 pax and we cant swing a cat. The room is "attached" to another 2 rooms, it can get busy if it is fully booked.

• Khor (9/5): Spacious Modern and New - Spacious, modern and new. Easy communication via calls or messaging over WhatsApp with Ms. Zicky. We get to check-in one hour early as the room was ready and it was easy. The manager on site goes beyond their standard list of items to provide us with extra just to make sure that we are comfortably settle in.
• Susan (8/5): Comfortable stay in modern apartment - Jan 2024 - Lovely touch with providing laundry powder. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Very large and comfortable double air bed was provided for my daughter- it was impressive for an air bed. Great view to night sky. TV did not connect to internet and casting from phone did not work. There was only one local TV channel available
