• Emma (5/5): Not great - Location is good, 5 min walk into Lakka. Air con and washing machine. Parking space. Unfortunately the property just wasn’t up to our expectations. There are two bedrooms (one double and one twin), but the double bed mattress is incredibly uncomfortable and we couldn’t sleep on it. We moved to the twin room where the mattresses are way too soft but we were at least able to sleep there. The photos make the property look better than we found it to be. The terrace is not as pictured and we certainly didn’t want to sit out there. The balcony is nice but there is a single chair on it (not two with a table as the pictures suggest). The bathroom is woeful. It feels dingy and is so old. I’ve seen better in hostels. The shower is almost impossible to use because it floods the whole bathroom. We hated the bathroom. Kitchen is fine but cupboards smell musty. Espresso machine which we didn’t use - no coffee provided which we felt would have been an easy and appreciated addition. Host did leave a bottle of wine and pack of deli meat which was appreciated. Property was cleaned before we arrived but there was a lot of dust under beds, bedside tables etc. Towels were clean but stained. Some of the sheets were stained too. No cleaning products available to clean kitchen after use, and no rubbish removal or instructions which isn’t great with hot weather and food waste in bins. Also, not the fault of the property but a word of warning, the noise from the roosters outside is unbelievable. All hours of day and night. If you have young kids, avoid this property as they will not sleep through! We didn’t. To summarise, Lakka is great and in our opinion there are much better properties available within this price range.
• Timothy (10/5): Meganisi is an absolute JOY! And this property is the perfect base. - It was FABULOUS. It was peaceful beyond! Beautifully-appointed; spotlessly clean; the neighbour gave us heaps of grapes from his vines; the local supermarket, taxi & taverna could not have been more welcoming. -

Πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο της Λακκας , σε σπίτι με δικη του θέση πάρκινγκ και όταν φτάσαμε μας περίμενε μια πολύ όμορφη έκπληξη καθώς η οικοδέσποινα μας είχε βάλει στο ψυγείο ένα κρασί , εμφιαλωμένο νερό , σαλάμια , τυρί , ελιές , χυμό , φρούτα . Το σπίτι χρήζει καλύτερης καθαριότητας !

• Tara (8/5): Good value and convenient spot for Lakka and exploring the north of Paxos - The apartment is spacious and the owners made alot of effort to have everything guests might want- welcome basket of goodies, hairdryer, well equipped kitchen, washing machine etc. it was a short walk to Lakka which is why we chose it as it was great to access the town without the need for a car. Some issues with air conditioning that I’m sure they will sort out, and they were very apologetic . The bathroom could definitely be improved as shower curtain didn’t do the job for keeping water inside the shower! We didn’t spend time sitting out on the terrace as there were nicer views from places in Lakka. We just used it though as a base for two nights so it was fine
• Ivan (10/5): Best possible location, excellent value for money, great host. - The host is very professional and available. Directions are straightforward and logical. We got the directions and instructions of how to get into the property, and it was all as explained and in a timely fashion.
• Julie (7/5): We enjoyed our stay. - Anastasia met us off the bus from Gaios in Lakka & walked us up the hill. It is a long steep hill to the property especially when you're doing it 2-3 times a day. She had left us some provisions, water, ham, cheese, olives, breadsticks and tea & cake & a bottle of wine so thoughtful. The property is 2 bedroomed & spacious with washing machine (useful) & balcony and patio. We enjoyed our stay, Bathroom in desperate need of update, old shower curtain, dim lighting etc. It's not a central location so bear this mind if you're not keen on walking up steep hills in hot temperatures.
• Ian (9/5): Superb - The property is in a great location, just a short walk from Lakka centre. The apartment is light, spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The hosts were really helpful and communicative.
• Gregor (10/5): Great for families - It was really spacious, quiet (except roosters 🙃😄) nice equipped kitchen and nice terrace and balcony. Really good for families

• Jack (10/5): Amazing hosts & amazing location - Ellie’s is in the perfect location! Short walk into town and easy to get to a number of beaches. Our host was amazing and really accommodating! The house is in the perfect location.
• Ursula (8/5): Very good - Location was great, just outside of Lakka and easy walk to restaurants etc. Clean, airy, nice balcony. Bed in main room was a bit hard. I ended up sleeping on the softer single bed next door.
