• Nicola (9/5): Great! - Location great. Light and airy flat, very comfortable huge beds. Kitchen well fitted out. Clean. The noisey delivery lorries in the early hours, but that is the downfall of such a central location (and staying on Market day) Bring earplugs if that's an issue, back bedroom was quieter.

The beds were very comfortable. The sofa was not very comfortable. The weather was very warm and we couldn't use the balcony, it would have been nice to open the door to the balcony as it was so hot.

• Caroline (9/5): Just what we needed and what was advertised- fabulous location and hosts - The apartment was warm and welcoming fabulous instructions to access and stay equipped very well Great to have the parking spaces Reassuring Hosts easy to contact via WhatsApp although we had everything we needed once in the apartment We had a small issue with the tv but hosts attentive and keen to sort. Sofa not very comfortable and didn’t feel enough seating in the living area for 5 people Also had to pay £45 extra for sofa bedding

• Mark (8/5): Great central flat - Very clean and well put together flat. Central location. Walking distance to everything in Stamford. Parking space at rear is v helpful. Had a problem with the door lock, but was fixed within 30 mins of me reporting it (impressive). Sadly then failed again so it is being replaced. Other reviewers have said it's really noisy due to delivery lorries outside early in the morning. This is true but I) it only affects the front room not the back bedroom 2) I'm a super light sleeper and with earplugs it was fine for me.
• Susan (8/5): Perfect stay in Stamford - Great apartment, town centre location so once we had parked our car we could easily walk to the theatre, shops etc Very well equipped kitchen and comfy lounge. Excellent communication with host. A black out blind for the bedroom window overlooking the street would be good as there is a very bright street light there.

• Louise Clark (9/5): just what we needed . very good location. iron and ironing board and hairdryer excellent for prep. - unfortunately the Marks and Spencer opposite the flat had deliveries from 5.45 am onwards . very noisy and not possible to sleep due to clattering . i know earplugs were provided . sunday morning was much quieter thank fully. otherwise the falt was excellent and we would use agiain, its difficult i can see if you warn people about the truck noise it might put them off but it is a lovely lace otherwise . tell the light sleepers to go in back bedroom
• Gaynor (3/5): Very Disappointing, the pictures do not represent the reality , put a dampener on anniversary break - Location was very good in the center plenty of shops and restaurants, parking was a bonus Wasn’t very clean, had to wash all plates,cups,cutlery,utensils and pans , oven was extremely Dirty so not able to use really! Earplugs on the beds were rather puzzling on arrival however we soon learnt at 6am with excessive deliveries to the shops everyday ! The blinds didn’t work, entrance door to flat doesn’t lock from inside as the night lock had been removed and the bottom Chubb lock key was missing . Balcony cannot be accessed at all as there is a lock on the patio door leading to it, it was very dirty anyway. The filter on the cooker hood is in desperate need of replacing as it drip filthy grease down onto the hob. Wouldn’t stay again !!! And really dirty windows need a desperate clean.

• Alison (8/5): Sufficient for our needs as a short break but improvement needed - The location to the centre of Stamford was very convenient and the addition of a parking space very helpful Cleanliness of the property needs to be improved, more attention to detail needed. All cutlery was dirty with bits of food on it so all needed to be washed before used. Toilet clean in loo on arrival, however faeces marks still well visible. Blinds in bedrooms are not sufficient, lots of light bleed into the room waking you up at first dawn. Needs improvement or the addition of black out curtains. Most windows do not open, won’t stay open so airflow is minimal making the flat very warm. Loud first thing in the morning with yoga studio in rear bedroom and bin collections/street cleaning from very early hours/5.30am on a Sunday in front bedroom. Access to balcony/outside space not possible due to key in lock fused and cannot be turned. Drainage issue on room causing large pooling of water after minimal rain fall

It was very comfortable, spacious and extremely clean. Great location, and lots of information and recommendations about the area which was very useful. We liked it very much. Lounge was comfortable but had limited seating - also some hanging space in the bedrooms would be useful.

• Roderick (9/5): Great location and excellent accommodation - recommended! - Centrally located, first-floor apartment in a beautiful historic town with easy access to the main attractions and the added bonuses of its own parking space, and food stores and restaurants only a few yards away. Well-stocked, comfortable apartment which has been tastefully renovated. Excellent information provided and good communication from the owners. The entrance lobby was full of post/fliers and crumbling plaster and paintwork - not a good first impression. Dirty crockery in the dishwasher. Owners did take the trouble to ask for comments after our stay and have indicated that they will address the problems. So well done on their intention to improve standards. Small problems did not detract from the overall quality of the stay.
• Stephen (9/5): Great break to catch up with old friends - We literally came out of the front door into the heart of the beautiful town of Stamford. There was a funfair going on so the town was busy. Ample food and drink facilities on the doorstep. Wonderful scenery and plenty of things to do.

I would have like one more mug so as to maximise dishwasher usage, there were 5.

Kitchen well stocked with equipment, nice feel to place and we enjoyed our stay Not a complaint but … Never been to an accommodation venue when, along with towels on bed, you were given ear plugs!!! Found out why on Saturday with market traders setting up stalls at 6 a.m., plus shop delivery Sunday morning ….but okay…. Low lighting in bathroom to shave, needs a shaving mirror and better extractor. Minor thing but only 8 clothes hangers in main hallway wardrobe, not enough for 4 adults attending a weekend family gathering. Weird ….but none of bedrooms have wardrobes, which means you clothes are hanging in hallway wardrobe …..so, oops, if you do not preplan to bring clothes into bedroom, then you are walking out into hallway, maybe slightly unclothed …. Both bedroom had perhaps IKEA type set of drawers, which did not close / open properly. Seating limited in lounge, Parking space slightly difficult to get into if car park at rear is full, the car in bay next to Flat A’s space stuck out a long way and made of difficult to drive or reverse into space….. However, if this is the worst I can say, it’s nothing and we really liked this venue and a number of local family m3mbers visited and liked it too @ndcwill recommend it to other family and friends ….👍👍👍

• Heaton (7/5): Good - Cleaner friendly and helpful 2 double beds suggested 4 people, only 2 chairs at dinner table. No welcome bundle milk etc. Dish washer rubbish nees deep clean. Put plates in came out with food not eaten on them.
• Kandy (9/5): Fantastic when you find it - We had a couple of issues. Drove round twice and eventually parked on double yellow lines to try and find it. Walked back and forth till we eventually found the door. Numbers don't help as it's just shop names, what would have is if " opposite M & S " had been mentioned. Then the heating didn't work but everyone we spoke to couldn't have been more helpful and it was sorted within the hour. The apartment is fantastic, perfect location with parking which is such a bonus. Couldn't recommend it more highly. On a final note the back door steps needs some lighting. It was so dangerous unloading the car in the dark and wet, an accident waiting to happen . Finding it!!!

Fantastic central location in Stanford. Nothing really. Delivery drivers did arrive early in the morning for the local Tesco & M&S which was quite noisy in the front bedroom but ear plugs were supplied and was a compromise for such a central location.

• John (8/5): Ideal for anyone wishing to explore Stamford without their own transport - The location was perfect for exploring Stamford, its position at the start of the High Street made it ideal for popping out to the shops and exploring the city by foot, also having its own parking area was so convenient. Access to the small balcony would have added to the enjoyment.

Parking space very tight and 2 bollards did not help with backing into the space. On one day another car parked behind us so we could not get out. Delivery lorries for M and S food store over the road were there both mornings early but if you wanted a lie in there were ear plugs provided.

• Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully decorated flat. It was much bigger than I expected and very comfortable. Perfect location close to my dad, who we were visiting and convenient for the shops. There was a few ants in the kitchen but probably just due to the hot weather.
• Louisa (10/5): A beautiful town and superb apartment. - Great location, central to town centre with a car park space. Very spacious apartment and tastefully furnished. Lots of places to eat and drink and supermarkets just across the road. Fantastic market on Friday. Plenty of storage space although we only stayed one night. We will definitely return for a longer trip as we would love to explore the area further. The directions to find the parking space were a little confusing but that was because the bakery mentioned in the directions had just changed to a travel agents! We could not get the fan oven to work and there were no instructions, however we managed with the hob and microwave, the hosts were very apologetic. The town centre is immaculate but that meant we were woken by street sweepers and bin lorries early in the morning because we were in the front bedroom but we soon went back to sleep in the luxurious bed.

• Henry (8/5): A nice stay spoiled a little by lack of sleep - Within walking distance of everything, including Burleigh House The front bedroom is 10 yards from M&S food and the early lorry deliveries are noisy. We moved to the back bedroom which was better but the earplugs provided by the host are essential.

Adequately furnished kitchen with dishwasher. Would stay there again. Good lighting throughout. It would have been helpful if details of the parking space had been provided in advance. The property is not too easy to find as there are no visible numbers at street level.

• Simon (9/5): Excellent clean and modern apartment. - Excellent, clean and modern apartment clear instructions, comfy clean beds and a good shower. Very noisy M & S lorry opposite v. early in the morning delivering supplies which affects those in the front bedroom, made worse by high sided buildings and single glazing to bedroom window. Lounge needed some coasters. Some milk of some sort would have been nice.

• Jackie (10/5): Much better value, space, comfort and facilities than a hotel room - Perfectly placed for exploring Stamford…photographs don’t do this spacious apartment justice. So glad I chose this over a hotel. Modern and clean…safe and secure….comfortable , warm and beautifully furnished. Dedicated parking space and fire exit door made unloading car easier….Great nights sleeps in back room (by choice as there was some noise from deliveries to shops ). Handy to have M n S food hall opposite but Stamford has lots of cafes (can recommend Central Cafe), coffee shops and restaurants (The Crown) to choose from. Will definitely be coming back to Stamford…such a beautiful, historical place and would love to stay in St. Paul’s apartments again. For practical purposes the radiator in the hall didn’t seem to get warm at all, and the clock in the lounge didn’t work…and for nitpicking purposes the kitchen sink drain needs a bit of bleach down it , window above kitchen sink and bathroom skirting need a dust…but these things did not affect our stay in this wonderful property.
